Following Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's plans to slowly reopen the state, some Houston-area waterparks, museums, restaurants and other attractions are allowing in-person visitors again. Some of these destinations are enforcing strict health protocols, so guests should be sure to check an establishment's online website for more details. As is encouraged by state, city and local leaders, residents venturing outside of their homes should practice social distancing, personal hygiene and wear face coverings.(Photo) River Oaks: Bayou Bend Collections and Gardens Stroll through the 14 scenic acres of gardens and explore the former home of Houston philanthropist Ima Hogg.

Some of our restaurants here in Florida have been open most of the month. We went to one today, and it was great! Only the wait staff wore masks, but none of the customers. (How does one eat with a mask on, anyway?)

It's good that places are opening but the kindergarten-level behavior instructions become more irritating by the day. They all have different rules and it's hard to keep up. I went to my dental tech yesterday and she was required to wear two layers of masks. She was getting sleepy and dizzy from lack of oxygen. I wasn't required to wear a mask because, you know...

American civil rights attorney Leo Terrell called out Democrats who have not stepped up to publicly condemn crime in the wake of protests against the death of George Floyd. The radio talk show host told Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Friday that so-called protesters are using the death of the Minneapolis man this week while under police custody as an excuse to go on crime sprees in American cities. And Democrats, fearful of losing the black vote in November, are staying silent. (Video) “This is a tragedy,” Terrell said on “Hannity” Friday.“There is universal acceptance that the murder of George Floyd was wrong

The White House survived a night of riots this Friday thanks to the “very cool” work of the Secret Service but no thanks to hardcore left-wing Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, according to tweets posted by President Donald Trump the following morning. Look: (Tweets) The prior evening, a large crowd of unruly, disgruntled “protesters” gathered outside the White House to apparently “protest” the killing of George Floyd. It’s unclear why the “protesters” were angry with the president given as, one, Floyd’s death occurred in a Democrat city in a Democrat state, and two, Trump has implemented more criminal justice reform measures than any other president in American history.

The liberal media certainly has a convenient memory.Recently, as noted here by NewsBusters's own Tim Graham, much was being made that 100,000 Americans had died of the virus. The New York Times devoted its entire front page to listing the dead. Let’s be plain: 100,000 dead Americans from the virus is horrific. Every human life is important. But there is a curious something missing in all the many stories about the death toll of 100,000. Tim notes this question to White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany from Politico and CNN’s Ryan Lizza:“We’re about to cross the 100,000 dead American [sic] milestone…
