Twitter's "Head of Site Integrity" Yoel Roth boasts on his LinkedIn that he is in charge of "developing and enforcing Twitter’s rules," like the one that led Twitter to slap a new warning label on two of President Trump's tweets concerning mail-in balloting on Tuesday -- posts that Twitter conspicuously deemed "misleading," even though bipartisan panels of experts have agreed with the president that absentee balloting increases the risk of voter fraud.
However, Roth's own barrage of anti-Trump, politically charged tweets seemingly calls into question whether he should be creating rules for the president and other Twitter users, especially when Twitter is under fire for its alleged left-wing bias.

It's time to clean up the tech industry. This censorship is getting out of control. They are now trying to sway the election.

Thanks to the poster yesterday who shared USA Life and MeWe as alternative social websites. I am going to take a serious look at them.

Yoel Roth; what kind of name is “Yoel?” He looks like the eternal frat-boy who’ll never grow up.

All, literally ALL of this can easily end in less than a second when the "platform" status of the Facebook, Twitter, Google, Apple social media is changed to "publisher." Graham, McConnell, et al will NEVER do it, instead will furrow their eyebrows in concern on Hannity because the platform sugar is way too sweet and they know their voters in their states are way too disadvantaged to primary them out. (Yes, Rio Lindans, sometimes the truth can be insulting).

Its not about facts, its about opinion. I would expect Twitter to apply the same (unbiased) scrutiny o Sleepy Joe's campaign tweets, otherwise the Trump flagging could be considered a campaign contribution to Joe.

Our main problem is that Americans are no longer in charge of the social media that they have created. Look at the names of the various people in their layers of management and you will find more and more non-American citizens who have never experienced the value of the First Amendment and probably have the usual world-bias against America. Diversity may not kill us but it is doing a great job of undermining our rights and freedoms.

There is also Parler which has become quite successful in standing up against Twitter.
The only thing about these new conservative social sites is they are often missing an element of fun. I do like Twitter because of there are people more attuned to the cultural devastation the Marxist Left is exacting on Americans. Andrew Breitbart was only beginning to uncover a lot it when he died. Breitbart’s Big Hollywood has since failed to carry that light forward and now exists as a virtual Check-Out Line Gossip Rag. All I can ever think when I drop in on BH now is “tell me something I don’t know.” Breitbart used to care about telling me something new about the Culture. Now it doesn’t.
Anyway, there’s a HOST of people of all ages who have been on Twitter for a while now duking it out with the Spittle-fleck seething SJWs who use Alinsky tactics to tear apart every culture niche from comic books to Disney Movies (#FandomMenace). The virus that has been plaguing our culture has been FAR more assiduous than the Wuhan. MY POINT IS : it’s all nice that we conservatives have our own place unfettered by the trolls and orcs of Bezos et al, but it is all flavorless meme-sharing until we outreach to those who are more embroiled in culture than politics. Twitter HAS become successful for a reason and I’d like to point out that on a number of occasions we here on Lcom have lauded its usefulness in times of stress and victory on “our side.”
I’d like to see more discussion of culture at these conservative sites. So far it’s all just been the usual echo chamber Choir practice same meme-sharing of politics...and just politics. Remember what Andrew said of politics...???

Too much Chinese money going to our companies. Chinese propaganda is allowed to reach every part of social media, without question. Maybe when China money dries up, the politicians and social media/MSM will decide to support America!

Twitter better be careful. President Trump can take them down, and USA Life and MeWe could be beneficiaries of this takedown. I'm telling you.

I demand that those with different opinions have the right to post immediately next to any Twitter editorial opinion posted on their platforms. I demand that Twitter not smudge any Trump posting with their opinions. That is dirty politics. If you have an opinion, Twitter, post it on your own messages, and see how many people choose to follow you. Man up, Twitter, stand on your own feet. Post your own messages.

There is a reason why I sometimes spend 30 hours straight on Twitter, even though I hate it and don't use it for personal pleasure. I will sometimes stay up all night for days on end to counter lefty lies and disinformation and to post back-up articles to get the truth out there. I know it's a steep uphill battle, but someone needs to put a break in their echo chamber. I am proud to say I have been deemed a threatening "bot" by the leftist scoring site for Twitter. :)
