Allow me to disabuse you of your naïve delusion that we still live in a country with a justice system and break it to you that no one is going to jail for what was done to Flynn, or for the unmasking business, or for the Russia hoax or, for that matter, for any of the corrupt Dem/foreigner collaborations exemplified by the payoffs received by stripperphile and Bolivian folk medicine enthusiast Hoover Biden. No one. Well, maybe Mike Flynn himself will. Since his judge is now making up the law as he goes along – in law school they taught us that the judicial branch didn’t prosecute,

Re#2 The failures are legion. Passing the 17th amendment. Allowing anyone with a pulse to vote. Failing to teach economics and civics. Failing to teach history. De-emphasizing honor and integrity. A completely dishonest press. Higher education that's not. A disinterested over or under educated electorate. "We The People" got exactly what we voted for.

I expect an apology from fellow commenters because my postings for the past 3.5 years that not a single Obama regime lawbreaker will face charges have been dismissed as the ravings of a troll. I voted for Trump in 2016 and will do so in 2020. I also voted for Romney and McCain, which I deeply regret, but there were no good options. I am just tired of hearing about Corrupt Hillary, Obamagate and the stunning number of well documented Obama regime scandals that have gone unpunished. I am also disgusted that my tax dollars are helping to provide large federal pensions to Lois Lerner of IRS shame, Joe Biden for 40 years of disservice as Senator & VP, and to the enormous presidential pension plans of Obama and the Clintons. Finally, why am I helping to fund the DoJ, FBI, CIA and NSA when these bureaucracies serve the DNC first, country second? Indict someone!

A stroke down memory lane.... Remember when the cops in the Rodney King case were tried and acquitted? The bros in LA went nuts and started rioting in the streets resulting in days of chaos, injury, attempted murder (Reginald Denny) and arson. They forced Bush 41’s hand and, despite double jeopardy laws which should have protected them, the cops were tried again and they both went to prison. It will probably take that kind of scenario to get any sort of justice in the 0bamagate crime spree. There is precedent.

I am still holding out hope that justice will be meted out. If nothing else, the fact that Grenell's recently de-classified documents revealing testimony under oath showed that none of the people accusing PDT of collusion with the Russians did so under oath. They claimed they knew nothing...then went on TV and accused Trump of everything under the sun. Apparently perjury is still something to be feared, else why not lie then too? It'll come down to rock solid irrefutable proof-and I also think that someone in the chain will break and confess to cut their jailtime. Call me crazy but that's what I think will happen.

We the little people can be hauled off to jail for attempting to feed our families or for failing to wear a mask. But the democrats can engage in a coup with no consequences. This is what I want to know about my neighbors: 1) They haven’t heard what happened 2) They have heard but are numb to outrageous claims and don’t genuinely believe that Obama and his minions actually meddled in the election, colluded with foreign powers to do so, and subverted Trump's administration after they lost the election, including but not limited to the railroading of General Flynn 3) They have heard what happened, they believe Obama and his minions did the things stated in #2, and are ok with. a. They are OK with it because they think that once we are rid of the threat to our country that Trump and the conservative movement represent, we can go back to being the America of the rule of law, like when Bush said we had to violate the constitution to save it. b. They are OK with it because they genuinely believe that a government of central power in the hands of an elite totalitarian ruling class will be better that our constitutional republic.

Nothing will happen, the "feds" have been operating like this with impunity for a long time. Bill Barr was in charge of what happened at Ruby Ridge, he tried to get the sniper who murdered Viki Weaver exonerated. He was no friend to the second amendment. Few people were outraged over the treatment of ranchers such as the Hammonds, Bundys, and the executed LaVoy Finicum. I was. You want to read a transcript of a trial that will make your blood boil? Read the transcript of the Amon Bundy trial or any of the other guys they put in prison. They were not even allowed to enter evidence of their innocence. I am upset about this too, but we have to be eternally vigilant. The more they get away with this stuff, the more impervious they are to the consequences.

There were a few Republicans along the way and many driven out of office on just a whiff of a scandal other than that the laws are for thee and not them (on the left). We have witnessed murder by the left and nothing comes from it from the form of an investigation there were many suicides like the one in Marcy Park. I have to agree with Kurt on this one.

What a disheartening article. One wonders at the motivation for writing it. It's full of hard facts, but the conclusions drawn from those facts are defeatist, never mind the trite attempts at optimism at the end. Defeatism, concluding that all is lost before it is, is a self-fulfilling prophecy. As any high school football coach can tell you.

"If My people..." When this prayer was spoken in faith by millions in 2016, Trump who couldn't win - WON! He has been attacked every day since then, like Israel from 1948 on was attacked and still prospers. We marveled at his resolve. Soldiers gave him their medals. Most everyone on this thread still prays for Trump every night [for his protection, wisdom, health, stamina, faith, Cyrus anointing, for his family, his counselors, for his wisdom to lead, to find God's will for America, do it, and win]. As we come into a more challenging time, where we see the corrupt government and media laid bare to us, twisting truth into lies, where we see a coup and civil war, and demonic pandemic at work, we know by experience that prayer works. God is for his people, and we are on his side. Perhaps we need to pray smarter every night: that god will send a huge revival NOW; that no weapon of the socialist class will prosper; that all the leaders of the coup and domestic enemies will be neutered -- then jailed -- for years; that America will resist apostasy, and that Trump will win in 2020!

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

The race gap between the two has come down to the point where Tenney is leading by 106 votes and the only ballots left to possibly be considered are the ones that were “set aside” during the initial count due to irregularities.

His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
