The decision of a United States judge to stall America’s motion to drop its case against General Michael Flynn appears designed to delay the matter until after November. That’s how it looks, at least to us, in the wake of the judge’s decision to invite outside parties to file friend-of-the court briefs on what to do next. Could it be that the judge hopes the Democrats will win the election and, come January, drop the motion to drop the case?
In offering that line of speculation — and that’s all it is — we do not intend to question the integrity of the judge, Emmet Sullivan.

This judge should have thrown this out long ago. Seems corrupt to me. What other “distinguished public servants” have been involved in this fiasco? Oh yea, Mueller.

I am tired of Judge Sullivan's integrity, Mueller's integrity, and Jeff Session's integrity, and Comey's integrity. Please do not dispense integrity so generously, as it has not been earned, about as genuine as the Pullitizer and Nobel Prizes.

Sidney Powell said the judge refused her 12 times to bring positives forward on Flynn's behalf. It appears the judge is defying his own orders. It's sad the judge is not concerned with the corruption in the JD.

"Integrity" appears to mean something different in D.C. than it does elsewhere.

Time for a pardon for Flynn and Stone.

Sullivan angrily called Flynn a traitor, without justification. Even if true, lying to the FBI is not traitorous. Although it is true that Flynn talked to the Russian ambassador, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Actually, it was a normal part of the job as security advisor. Sullivan has summoned up an evaluation of being a traitor out of thin air and it displays a terrible bias. Sullivan has displayed an unsympathetic view of Flynn's case through resistance to any motion that might open a window to prove Flynn's innocence.
This fishing expedition prolongation of a dead end trial is a nasty expression of Sullivan's dislike of General Flynn. Sullivan has the thinnest of basis for his actions. You would think he would be furious with the government shenanigans that have wasted the court's time and so devastated Flynn's life. Instead, he is prolonging this farce and the pain associated with it, for Flynn and for the Country. This is his petty "punishment" of Flynn for being a "traitor" and for working for Trump. THAT is the ultimate message from the Deep State, "Work for Trump and we will ruin your life.".
The government continues to screw over General Flynn.

Judge Sullivan must be hoping that the Democrats will win in 2024 and appoint him to the Supreme Court when a vacancy occurs.

This is the very definition of politics. So the judge reserves the right to order the DOJ to prosecute a case they have said they can't win?

Doesn’t the DOJ outrank the judge? Tell him to pound sand.

Maybe this Judge should have a background check.
He sounds like he is owned and operated by the Democrats.

Sullivan is protecting Obama.
As long as Flynn is tied up in court, he can't join the Trump administration and he will be limited in what he can state publicly. Further, any statements he does make can be portrayed by the media as nothing more than trying to get a pardon.

Where are the checks for these 'rogue' judges, in our system of checks and balances? A lot of black robed petty tyrants think they have dictatorial powers, and no one can do anything about it. So far, they keep getting away with this malfeasance. How does the country recall these partisan judges?

The judge's order can be appealed through a writ of mandamus. How about it, DOJ?

DO WE NEED ANY MORE PROOF THAT THERE REALLY ARE "OBAMA JUDGES"? Justice John Roberts was really wrong when he said: “We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges. What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them. That independent judiciary is something we should all be thankful for.” Emmett Sullivan is the poster child for OBAMA JUDGE and can barely hide his disdain for Flynn.

I think the judge is reluctant to give up his time in the celebrity spotlight.
