Is the CDC Meddling

The coronavirus crisis is reaping big political benefits for Democrats. President Trump’s signature achievement—a booming economy with record low unemployment, rising middle-class wages, and a sky-high stock market—lies in tatters. At least 33 million Americans abruptly and without warning are out of work. Second-quarter gross domestic product estimates are horrifying, a double-digit dive that the country has never experienced even in the direst economic times. (Snip) And the Centers for Disease Control is looking more and more like the 2020 version of James Comey’s FBI. The agency that foisted the disastrous experiment of “social distancing” on 330 million unwitting American lab rats continues to inveigh on matters far beyond

Comments:

This is the same CDC that had a campaign to consider guns a pathogen. They are corrupt leftists from top to bottom. Politically Trump can't get rid of Fauci, but he needs to keep his exposure to a minimum, and take on the CDC, getting rid of the most politicized. For one thing, no one there should be allowed to comment on any political or policy matter, and how to open the county up is political.

Like every government agency, the CDC is bloated, guilty of overreach, costs too much and realizes that only Leftists want it that way. With Donald Trump back in office in 2020 they know they will be downsized, limited in scope and will pay a price for their errors with COVID-19. Of course they want the democrats to run the show.

First their was the targeting of Gen. Flynn. Trump survived. Next was years of Russia, Russia, Russia. Trump survived. Then the Ukraine phone call and ridiculous impeachment. Trump survived. COVID-19 was the nuclear bomb that needed to be released in their final attempt to destroy Trump, The Dems and China could care less how many people needed to die to accomplish their goal of destroying Trump. Election Day 2020 will determine if he can survive this. Patriotic Americans MUST make it our mission to get out the vote in November even if we have to crawl across hot coals or broken glass to make sure he is re-elected. Voter fraud will be rampant this year.

This article perfectly reflects my feelings. Covid-19 is just another attempt to overthrow Trump, and us. Trump and ourselves need to re-organize to move past this attack. Social distancing does not work and should be expunged from our lives, along with the masks. Both do nothing but allow the left to spread fear among those incapable of thinking for themselves, and keep us from returning to success. There is no way to win with those policies, which is why the Democrats want them. The Democrat goal is for us to lose. For any contagion, cold or flu, wash your hands, disinfect commonly touched surfaces, the sick should stay home, and you are going to be fine. You can go outside and breathe fresh air. That is not going to hurt you. Go back to work, and quit acting like everyone you meet is a walking contagion that you must draw back against the wall and allow to pass. Every freedom loving individual better plan on getting to the polls and voting for Trump in November. Covid-19 has been weaponized by the Democrats to turn this nation into a socialist society. We have seen that, and it is a miserable way to live. I would rather die than live that way.

The job of the CDC is to give the President advice. It is then up to the President to decide what he wants to do with that advise. In this case it appears that the advise given was away too specific and would, if taken in whole, caused most of the US economy to remain shutdown. Clearly the President believes that most of the economy can be prudently and safely re-opened under previous guidelines that the Administration passed on to the Governors. If you have been paying attention you should know by now that the Democrats would like to keep the US economy shutdown indefinitely believing that will assist them in defeating President Trump in the General Election, and in the long-term to transform the USA into some sort of socialist utopia. That is the exact opposite of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” political agenda.

#7, the 'rotten, corrupt bureaucrats at the top' are the ones doing the hiring for the CDC. Just like academia, I doubt the try to be 'politically diverse'. So the CDC top to bottom is mostly worthless political hacks, with, maybe. a few good employees. The rest? Marxist-loving scum. And this is true for every fedgov department. The commies infiltrated, rose to the higher ranks, then pulled in more of their fellow-travelers. Most are worthless domestic enemies of the constitution by now.

You will never convince me this whole thing wasn't to ruin a robust economy and stopping the November election. It happened right after the President put the screws to China over trade. There are people so greedy and blinded by One World Order, they don't care about our demise. Follow the money. Fauci and Sorryos go way back.

Governments around the world say they are following ‘The Science’ with their draconian measures to stem the spread of the virus. But the science around Covid-19 is bitterly contested. Many experts have serious doubts about the effectiveness of the measures, and argue that our outsized fears of Covid-19 are not justified. Knut Wittkowski is one such expert who has long argued for a change of course. For 20 years, Wittkowski was the head of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design at The Rockefeller University’s Center for Clinical and Translational Science. spiked spoke to him to find out more about the pandemic. spiked: Is Covid-19 dangerous?

Big Tech companies are aggressively tamping down on COVID-19 “misinformation” — opinions and ideas contrary to official pronouncements. Dr. Knut M. Wittkowski, former head of biostatistics, epidemiology and research design at Rockefeller University, says YouTube removed a video of him talking about the virus which had racked up more than 1.3 million views. Wittkowski, 65, is a ferocious critic of the nation’s current steps to fight the coronavirus. He has derided social distancing, saying it only prolongs the virus’ existence and has attacked the current lockdown as mostly unnecessary.

My county out here in Krazifornia ostentatiously banned single-use plastic bags back in 2012, to “save the planet” naturally. So I whooped a whoop of joy through my mask when the local grocery store bagged my haul in plastic bags over the weekend. My guess is plastic bags will be back for good. The aftermath of the virus crisis is going to change a lot of things—a process I’m calling “The Great Reset.” A lot of bad things are going to happen. A number of businesses have closed down for good already. Many others are going to shrink.

DURING this entire epidemic, and the response to it, there is a growing tension between front-line doctors and scientific researchers, between people who must use and master numbers in their jobs and university statisticians and modelers, and between the public in general and its credentialed experts. In a nutshell, the divide reflects the ancient opposition between empiricism and abstraction — or more charitably common sense and practical application versus scientific knowledge. When the two are combined and balanced, then knowledge advances. When they are not, both are deprived of the wisdom of the other. Unfortunately, in the present crisis, we have listened more to the university modeler than to a numbers-crunching accountant.

The Project Veritas folks spoke with funeral directors out of New York who believed that the deaths were being attributed to the virus whether they were due to the virus or not. When the weather permits I like to work in my little backyard here in Brooklyn. It’s a 20’ by 25’ postage stamp of cement and dirt surrounded by the small plots of my neighbors. In the eyes of many, Dallas salon owner Shelley Luther has become the latest face of justified resistance against governmental tyranny for her steadfast refusal to back down on keeping her business open despite the prospect of going to jail. Luther’s Salon a la Mode opened for business last Friday, then promptly got slapped with a court order to close because of coronavirus restrictions. Instead of meekly complying, as most others doubtless would have, Luther stood outside her salon and literally ripped the thing to shreds.
