Stacey Abrams: The Thirstiest Candidate

Original Article

Posted By: MissMolly, 4/30/2020 5:17:27 AM

Failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is what the kids these days call "thirsty AF." For weeks, Abrams has been all but begging former vice president Joe Biden to pick her as a running mate. Abrams's thirst for power appears to know no bounds. According to a Politico report published Tuesday, the former Georgia lawmaker has been waging an aggressive behind-the-scenes lobbying effort in addition to her public self-promotion campaign. Abrams, who has repeatedly declared herself the winner of Georgia's 2018 gubernatorial election despite receiving fewer votes than her Republican opponent, has been "privately calling Democratic powerbrokers, asking them to tell Biden campaign officials that she should be vice president."

This woman is making an embarrassing spectacle of herself and the Democrats deserve every bit of it. No one discouraged her while she went on the Hillary Denial Tour whining to every camera in sight about losing the Governor election in Georgia. She took their silence as agreement. Washington is a vicious place and they don’t care about her race or self-entitlement. They want to win. Her demeanor and physical appearance alone will disqualify her. Biden will be forced by this into choosing Kamala Harris. I hope she thanks Stacey Abrams for the opportunity.

I'm concerned that I am so upset by this woman's attempts to bully her way into a VP nomination. Perhaps it's because I've come across too many like her in real life--and I bet you have, too. SA seems to be an angry, entitled, anti-white racist who aggressively and rudely condescends by arrogantly making baseless accusations of oppression against innocents, solely to build herself up by tearing others down. She's ugly both inside and out. God help the USA if she becomes the typical candidate and politician of the future.

Joe already picked that brilliant woman of color, Carol Channing to be his running mate. He'll be announcing his decision from the basement rec room where, surprisingly, it has access to this new technology called, "The Internet." (Apparently, it's all the rage to young people). The news media is frantically trying to figure out how to interview Carol at her Forest Lawn address in Los Angeles. Joe's been praying to the thing really hard on the media's behalf for the interviews because it's going to require a butt ton of economic intercourse to make it happen.

The Democrat Party shows how bankrupt and corrupt they are in they do not screen their candidates for competence, integrity, principles, or any appeal to the people. On the contrary, the Democrats promote the most incompetent, ugliest, corrupt, most unappealing persons they can scrape off the bottom, mistaking the bad and unwanted for a desirable diversity. In short, the Democrat Party should not be able to obtain a business license to operate, in order to protect the public.

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

Will Joe Biden and his foreign-policy team accept the extraordinary gift Team Trump is leaving for them under the Christmas tree — or is their hatred for the president so all-consuming that they will toss it in the garbage? Normalization has proceeded so quickly, Dubai already has a kosher restaurant, and its supermarkets are stocking Israeli agricultural products festooned with Stars of David — a science-fictional sight only a year ago.

Pompeo was referring to the May 2018 release of three Americans detained in North Korea -- all were accused of anti-state activities.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

There, Democratic incumbent Anthony Brindisis is locked in a recount with Republican Claudia Tenney, who previously held the seat before him. The race gap between the two has come down to the point where Tenney is leading by 106 votes and the only ballots left to possibly be considered are the ones that were “set aside” during the initial count due to irregularities.
