Is the Coronavirus Foreign Interference
in Our Elections — or Worse?

In criminal law, everyone is presumed to intend the “natural and probable consequences” of his or her actions. Thus, an accomplice who only agrees to rob a bank may be prosecuted for intentional murder if a guard is killed, because the robbery created a dangerous situation that could foreseeably result in death. By this standard, we should all be talking about possible Chinese interference in the 2020 presidential election. Only two months ago, many political commentators, even on the left, thought Donald Trump was a shoo-in to be reelected in November, since he was riding the wave of a booming economy and successful trade deals.

The timing of the virus outbreak and the usual negative msm coverage sure is a coincidence. It's almost as if the dims needed something to retaliate with once AG Barr and Durham break the story and hand down the first wave of indictments. Now I understand why the dims in congress are dragging their feet in approving virus impact rescue legislation because they need leverage to hurt the financial markets bigly and damage Trump if Barr should announce anything soon. But, it is too late for the dims. It was checkmate for them a long time ago.

When you discover that the babysitter has been stealing the cash from your wallet you take the next step and change passwords, call the bank, because if they would do that what wouldn't they do. The democrats colluded with Russians to steal the 2106 election, no longer a theory, proven fact. They spied on their opponents turning the intelligence apparatus of government, the NSA, and FBI into political goon squads as they had done with the IRS, ATF and the rest of the alphabet. They ran guns to ISIS, the ran guns to the drug cartel. These things we know. Why should I be the least hesitant to suspect that they are behind this; for fear of being ridiculed as we once were for believing other outrageous things before they were later proven to be true? Embracing Red China for political gain at the expense of our national security is not the least bit earth shattering or new. What wouldn't they do? Are they taking advantage of a fortuitous bounce of the ball or did they throw it with pinpoint accuracy?

I would say it is more of an attempt by China to take down our economy, especially after Trump has spent the past three years standing up to China and putting our interests first. With all I have managed to read regarding how the FBI stopped a possible duo of agents caught with SARS and this Virus on them, I have no problem believing that this very well could have been a deliberate attack on the West. An attack is still an attack, even if it is a Soros like attack on our economy. Soros has a history of attacking the economies of other nations.

Everybody is looking for something sinister in this coronavirus. It's spawning and spread could only have been an accident unless China wanted to commit suicide. Events after it's creation are what have been sinister. Denial, withholding of information, deliberate travel out of China, continuation of cruise ship activity and this stupid lockdown make up that second step. We now have the real data, can safely move around and can get back to work because the risk factor is no worse than the flu. The obvious obstruction of the democrats to the resumption of business is the most sinister act of all. Yes, more people are going to die. Victims of all other existing diseases are going to die. People will be involved in fatal car crashes and fatal shootings by gang members and crazy people. That's called "Life."

It’s an ill wind, they say, that blows no good. Even the coronavirus can produce a heartwarming story or two. The Guardian reports on the dire state of the U.S. newspaper industry: Media outlets across the US have already responded to a huge drop in advertising triggered by the economic shutdown by sacking scores of employees. Some newspapers, just as demand is at its highest, have stopped printing – reverting to a digital-only operation that is just as vulnerable to the whims of advertisers. The decrease in advertising was swift, as businesses tightened spending due to the economic impact of Covid-19.

Democratic governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan announced late Tuesday that the state was rescinding a contract to track the spread of the coronavirus that she had awarded to a Democratic consulting firm, according to Crain's Detroit. The organization, Great Lakes Community Engagement, is run by Democratic political consultant Mike Kolehouse, who planned to use a software vendor affiliated with a Democratic data firm that is working for the governor's reelection campaign. Whitmer's decision to hire Democratic political operatives to run a public health project sparked immediate backlash, the Washington Free Beacon reported just hours before Whitmer's office said she had terminated the contract.

Acting-Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell has dinged Rep. Adam Schiff in a new letter, expressing surprise the Trump foe didn’t praise the appointment of two women to head counter-terrorism unit and rejecting the congressman’s belief that lawmakers control the DNI’s day-to-day management decisions. Mr. Schiff, California Democrat and chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, had written to Mr. Grenell on April 7 questioning his legal authority to reorganize the Office of National Intelligence and its National Counterterrorism Center. In an April 20 reply obtained by The Washington Times, Mr. Grenell called Mr. Schiff’s ideas “suggestions.”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is drawing a line: There will be no more attempts at long-distance legislating on the coronavirus. In a telephone interview Tuesday after passage of a $484 billion coronavirus relief bill, the Senate majority leader made clear that the full Senate must be in session before Congress begins its fifth installment of responding to the pandemic. And he signaled he was growing weary of quickly shoveling billions of dollars out the door even as the economy continues to crater. The latest measure cleared the Senate by voice vote, but it was the product of days of fraught negotiations and false starts —

I was already aware that many customers have had issues trying to get refunds from the airlines on flights they had booked before the coronavirus shut everything down. But I had no idea the extent of the problem was so vast. This report from NextGov indicates that there are currently enough of these cancellations that ten billion dollars worth of refunds are in limbo. The airlines want to give people travel vouchers instead of money, basically saying that once they have your money, they’re going to keep it. Whether you fly or not is up to you. Of course, these are the same airlines

President Trump recently declared House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., was on “vacation.” Some Republicans derided the speaker for “camping out” in San Francisco, with a well-stocked freezer of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. “She should come back and get this (coronavirus bill) done,” the president declared. “I don’t know why she’s not coming back.” Nary a member of Congress has escaped a troll on Twitter or other social media of late, demanding that lawmakers quit hiding in their districts or home states, hustle back to Capitol Hill and “get back to work.”

San Bernadino County Sheriff John McMahon said California's decision to free inmates in the name of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) will endanger the public by recycling felons back into society. In a Tuesday interview with Fox 11, McMahon claimed repeat child abusers are able to benefit from the state's new $0 cash bail emergency mandate and will be released back into circulation. There are 13 exceptions for serious offenses, but child abuse is not one of them. “Felony child abuse does not fit into that list of 13, so even though this guy had a prior for domestic violence conviction for child abuse, he gets arrested for child abuse again,

Last week, members of New York’s Reclaim Pride Coalition demonstrated outside the Samaritan’s Purse field hospitals in Central Park. Protesters wielded signs reading “Help Not Hate” and “Hate Won’t Heal,” as if anyone had ever thought or suggested otherwise. In contrast to their armchair detractors, the volunteers for Samaritan’s Purse put themselves in harm’s way, acting as backstops for a municipal hospital system at risk of being overrun with coronavirus patients. The group’s Evangelical Christian volunteers expose themselves to infection and disease at no charge to patients, treating the sick without regard to race, religion, sexual orientation, or any of the other identity groups under putative “siege” in the United States.

We’re going to come out of this nightmare whether the Democratic politicians like it or not. The pandemic is subsiding, so America is done with this lockdown nonsense, and the inevitable re-opening is coming. It will start out slow, then get faster, then get very, very fast, and then get finished. That’s how these things happen. But it won’t happen without #resistance. The lib establishment and its media gerbils clearly think it’s in their interest to have the Bat Gobbler flu crisis continue indefinitely. They think it hurts Trump, plus they really love wielding power over you. Just look into the dead doll eyes of Governor Karen (D-Minncounsinigan)

A former adviser to President Bill Clinton has doubts that the Democratic Party will officially nominate Joe Biden to run against President Trump. “It’s hard to see. It’s like a suicide march with them. But they’re pretty stubborn people,” Dick Morris told radio show host John Catsimatidis on Sunday. Biden has not yet secured the 1,991 delegates needed to win the Democratic nomination on the first ballot but is the only candidate left in the race after Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders ended his campaign earlier this month. Morris pitched New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo as a possible replacement. Cuomo’s national profile has been elevated for his handling of the coronavirus crisis,

His words: “Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and chance the future,” Archives.org noted.
