Does Nancy Pelosi know about
the coronavirus outbreak?

Original Article

Someone ought to tell Speaker Nancy Pelosi about the coronavirus outbreak, because her laser focus on pushing her political agenda suggests she’s unaware of it. The latest evidence: She wants to “retroactively” roll back Congress’ 2017 cap on tax deductions for state and local taxes (SALT), The New York Times reports. She claims lifting the cap would address the economic fallout of COVID-19. She wants her “fix” to be part of Congress’ next rescue plan. But her idea has nothing to do with boosting the economy and everything to do with helping Dems in blue states, like California, New York, New Jersey and Illinois. More than half the benefits of a repeal

The cap on state taxes has always been their highest priority to fix. They could have fixed by participating in the negotiations but had TDS. This hurt all their rich friends on the two coasts the most.

She must be stopped and put in her place. Nothing for abortion, illegals, changing voting laws in the favor of Democrats,,, Unless the bill helps those who have been harmed, it can not go in. She must be publicly scorned for any tricks she tries to pull. Rep. Dan Crenshaw has been excellent in calling her out.

She's totally oblivious to what's going on in the world. She has no concept of the suffering and illness people are experiencing. When did she ever show concern or compassion? When did she try to help in some way? All she cares about is her tax and spend agenda. The days of wine and roses and frivolous federal spending are over. When we come out to this, we'll be dealing with priorities and the rehabilitation of our economy for several years to come. Nancy needs to be removed as Speaker.

She'll know about the virus when it hits her in that overinflated face. She must be under pressure from Newsom and the people of San Francisco to actually do her job and help them instead of playing "bag the President." I don't blame you, #2. More people should take that step. I worked for a short time near Whitehouse Station with a guy who had a management job with a big pharmaceutical company but found it necessary to work at an electronics store in the mall in the evening just to cover the property taxes on his small house. It must be hell giving away everything you earn to the government..

The democrats in the House have the power to stop Pelosi. They can vote her out of the leadership position. If they don't, they can all be accused of the same callousness against the American people! We know that most of the House democrats are cowed by Nancy and her little circle of power, but if they would stand up on their hind legs and do the right things, maybe they could save their party from total destruction- where it is heading now. The democrats are already useless to most Americans. They are useful to the special interests. socialists/communists, and a bunch of lawyers!

My better half told me that it appears that Nancy actually has two sets of eyebrows, one set about an inch above the lower set, probably part of the aftermath of facelift surgery. So her face is just as fake as her bogus far left-political agenda. While Nancy and other whacky Democrat politicians are fraudulently blaming President Trump for the corona virus and the resulting deaths to the moron class that they are used to laying political “snow jobs” on forever, if you remember back in January, Trump took the first very important measure to try and stop the 30,000 of so people from flying directly from China to the USA each week, a percentage of who would absolutely have been corona virus carriers, who would have infected untold numbers of Americans. The Democrats including Biden, immediately responded to that presidential travel ban by calling Trump a racist and xenophobe. Also remember what Nancy and the Democrats were trying to do 24/7 at that time, engaging in a highly partisan political exercise designed to impeach and remove Trump from office on bogus impeachment charges. Clearly, to anyone above moron status these days, Nancy and the Democrats should have no credibility.

The task force briefing yesterday was very clear. NY and NJ were slow to implement social distancing and restrict travel and they are paying the price. Gov. Cuomo continues to pontificate on his wisdom and deflect when possible to the Feds. but it is clear to the rest of the US he was slow. Even the mayor wanted to implement shelter in place but Cuomo didn't.

Sorry, uh uh, no, nope. Stuff it nancy. I live in high tax NJ. There are two programs in NJ for property tax relief. One is the senior freeze....... your taxes are frozen at the rate the year you apply. Its based on income, you pay in but you get back all of the amount over the year the tax was " frozen". The other is the homestead rebate in which 10% of your property tax is deducted from your total property tax bill. This program is also tied into income. It benefits low and middle income . If the state taxes are high its because the people in charge keep raising them because they are incapable of running their states. Simple economics, when you continually spend ( much ) more than you take in, it only leads to trouble.

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

Will Joe Biden and his foreign-policy team accept the extraordinary gift Team Trump is leaving for them under the Christmas tree — or is their hatred for the president so all-consuming that they will toss it in the garbage? I’m talking about the Abraham Accords, peace deals between Israel and various Arab states — the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan — that have sought the Jewish state’s destruction since its founding in 1948. Normalization has proceeded so quickly, Dubai already has a kosher restaurant, and its supermarkets are stocking Israeli agricultural products festooned with Stars of David — a science-fictional sight only a year ago.

Pompeo was referring to the May 2018 release of three Americans detained in North Korea -- all were accused of anti-state activities.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.
Trump’s Flynn Pardon:

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

A circuit court ruled Monday that Texas and Louisiana can exclude Planned Parenthood from Medicaid funding, a win for the movement to deprive the abortion provider of federal funding. The Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overruled a district court's preliminary injunction preventing the exclusion of Planned Parenthood from Medicaid funding. The court of appeals ruled in an 11-5 majority that Planned Parenthood did not have the right to challenge the state's decisions regarding who receives Medicaid benefits. Medicaid beneficiaries "have no right under the statute to challenge a State’s determination that a provider is unqualified,"

The counting is still going on in some of the congressional races and one of the tightest ones is in New York’s 22nd district. There, Democratic incumbent Anthony Brindisis is locked in a recount with Republican Claudia Tenney, who previously held the seat before him. The race gap between the two has come down to the point where Tenney is leading by 106 votes and the only ballots left to possibly be considered are the ones that were “set aside” during the initial count due to irregularities.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
