Hillary Clinton under fire
for joke about US leading

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was blasted on social media Friday for her swipe against President Trump amid the growing coronavirus outbreak within the U.S. Since the availability of testing kits has broadened in recent days, the number of confirmed cases in the U.S. has skyrocketed. On Thursday, the U.S. has reportedly outpaced both China and Italy with more than 97,000 reported cases. Clinton took the latest developments as an opportunity to knock her former 2016 rival on Twitter. "He did promise 'America First,'" Clinton wrote, referring to one of the president's oft-repeated campaign slogans.

Thankfully we have a President that acknowledges how many industries and processes we have that employs people. He recognizes how all of it works together and how people have to work together. People become so narrow minded when they don't realize that those industries and processes are people's livelihoods. We lean on our own understanding of things so much that we value our opinions too highly thereby forgetting about other people in the process. This President has been through an election recount, Russian collusion, and the impeachment debacle. He is now having to lead this country through a very difficult time with a silent enemy. Unfortunately, Hillary Clinton is not a silent enemy but a very jealous, vindictive, ignorant, and vocal enemy. She values her opinion so highly that she has forgotten how to be an American citizen. I now understand why it was so easy to call people deplorables.

This old harridan just cannot miss any opportunity to bash the President even during the time of a national crisis when we should all be pulling together. Like the rest of the democrats they cannot put politics aside for one minute. It is always about getting the upper hand. Fortunately for the country, she has zero power, little influence, and is seen as a sore loser who will never see her ambition to be the first female President realized. She is like an angry ex-wife who will not let it go. She must get the last hateful word in and grouse to her friends how badly she has been treated. Fact is, no body cares, Hillary! What she thinks or says is of no consequence at all. Probably the most often response she gets when she speaks is genuine gratitude that she will never be in a position of power. So go screech at your sycophants and leave the rest of us alone.

Any White House reporter who insists on asking the president whether something he said has alarmed people should first be asked to explain the running tally of deaths and infections that cable news keeps plastered on everyone’s screens. A Bloomberg reporter at Sunday’s press briefing asked President Trump whether he “maybe frightened some Americans” by suggesting in a tweet that New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut may need a federally mandated quarantine. At a separate press briefing two weeks ago, NBC’s Peter Alexander asked the president if his “impulse to put a positive spin on things may be giving Americans a false sense of hope and misrepresenting the preparedness right now.”

The ongoing dysfunctional codependent relationship between the political media and President Donald Trump flared up again on Sunday afternoon during a Rose Garden press conference on the government’s handling of the Wuhan virus that has swept the globe. Trump needs the media to act the way they do so he can dunk on them and look good by comparison. The media are enjoying the short-term rush of their war with Trump, wearing his abuse as a badge of honor among their peers. On Sunday, the media were pretty sure they had Trump in a bind when he reacted negatively to a question by PBS’s Yamiche Alcindor.

Black voters in South Carolina helped propel former Vice President Joseph R. Biden to the top of the crowded 2020 Democratic field and they continue to fuel his drive to the nomination, but whether that translates into the crucial high turnout he needs in November remains an open question. In several states with large black populations, Mr. Biden didn’t receive as much support from them as did former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democratic primaries when she squared off against Sen. Bernard Sanders — who is also Mr. Biden’s key competitor this time around. For example, in South Carolina and Virginia, Mrs. Clinton

The New York Times, the famous “Gray Lady,” long has seen its role as a standard-bearer for modern liberalism. Of course, the paper still employs competent, and sometimes brilliant, reporters and editors. The news operation, however, is as opinionated as the editorial page, only less honest about its bias. Editorials have gone from advocacy to crusading. The Left’s agenda is the paper’s agenda. Those who disagree on issues are treated as wrong on morality as well as policy. So it is with abortion. On Sunday, March 29, the Times devoted almost half the page to an editorial demanding unrestricted abortion at public expense. That position has become the litmus test

His TV presence radiates calm competence. Clearly, he has gotten the poetry of governance in a maelstrom right; whether he is on top of the prose of it remains to be seen, but it certainly seems so. And of such stuff are political superstars born. So it’s no surprise that people are talking him up as a potential partner to presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
