Joe Biden walked out of Sunday night’s debate in a commanding position in the Democratic presidential primary after Bernie Sanders failed to land needed punches to slow the former vice president’s momentum, said The Post’s debate expert Eric Phillips.
“Bernie Sanders had to change the trajectory of this race and he did not do it,” commented Phillips, who previously served as Mayor Bill de Blasio’s press secretary. “I think we’re talking about a matter of days before Sanders has to give it up.”
Phillips said that not only did the sometimes gaffe-prone Biden manage to avoid major stumbles, he also managed to project the needed strength

The US lost if those two are the remaining presidential candidates of the Democrat Party. They are badly misinformed, they lie about everything, both are dedicated to making our lives worse in some perverse hope of controlling the weather and neither one cares about how we must work to pay the taxes they are going to squander. Our country deserves an intelligent debate on issues and these two fools have the least amount of intelligence available.
Lowest point of debate had to be the video of the leftist loon who is apparently a law professor. Her question was simply designed as an attack on the President for somehow denying women equal healthcare. We can expect CNN, MSNBC and their ilk to unearth dozens of radicals like her in order have these “typical Americans” express uninformed, totally biased opinions about how Trump has failed.

I watched the last hour of the Debate. My take on it was someone primed Joe on the questions so that he could write it on the notes he read after every question. He always gave a strong answer (something he failed to do whenever he was questioned).
He had snappy answers for everything! Honestly, He just didn't look, or act, like Joe! He definitely was given the questions (and probably the answers as well) in my humble opinion! Now CNN is crowing today about how strong a performance Joe gave last night! They all said Joe could take over running the country right now! Yikes!

FTA: “The Biden that we saw Sunday night — when he’s rested and put in a position to project steady leadership — can absolutely go toe to toe with Donald Trump,”
I guess that means that if there is a crisis somewhere in the world, Biden gets a 'Three Day Time-Out' to rest and prepare to do something about this crisis. Yeah, that's the ticket! I lasted for about 5 minutes of this communist nonsense before I switched over to the Cartoon Channel for some realism.

When I watched for a few minutes all I saw was Monday morning quarterbacking on how those two would handle the Corona situation. When we had our plague under the Obama/Biden reign they didn't do anything to marshal the forces.

I tried to watch, but I fell asleep. From what I saw, Joe managed to answer the questions without mixing up his words. Bernie pointed out that Joe was a flip-flopper, but it won’t be enough. I don’t know if Joe had the questions in advance, but he was obviously prepared to just agree with Bernie most of the time. That made it easy for him.

So all I get from the article is that the staff used sound bytes from a democrat to decide who won the "debate". Didn't anyone from the NY Post watch and write their own conclusions? Or is that rag so deep in the Dem's pocket?

What little I was able to stand , gave me the impression that this was rigged to allow Joe to win- as other posters alluded. Maybe Joe 'wins' and names Bernie as his running mate is the plan...….

# 5 , 6 Same reaction here. By being somewhat " normal", we know that Joe was off. No gaffes , no mental wandering, we know his typical behavior and last night wasnt it.

Joe Biden had the questions and answers in advance. Biden is not that swift and smart just listen to him when impromptu on the campaign trail he's a disaster. Bernie's schtick is starting to waiver and sounding tired.

Debate expert Eric Phillips Phillips, a longtime Democratic political adviser believes Uncle Joe won. Duh.

Only 1 tiny gaffe---he said N1H1 instead of H1N1, but the closed captioners corrected that for him. I turned on cc because I got sick of hearing, "The fact of the matter is..." The closed captioners also took care of that redundancy.
Anyone familiar w dementia knows it's impossible for a patient to be lucid ON COMMAND, even with Aricept. It's impossible for patients to control their confusion. Something changed drastically last night. The most obvious explanation is that Joe had been spoon-fed the questions in advance, but he didn't appear to be reading his answers verbatim. He had some sort of control over his behavior, which is not possible for those suffering dementia. Very weird indeed.
And another thing: I always am on the lookout for what's missing---what should've happened, but didn't. EVERYONE in the leftist media had to have known that Joe's repeated gaffes could bring him down last night. Yet, NOBODY provided cover in advance for him. What was missing were the pre-debate protective comments like, "It's obvious the VP has been overtired lately or out-of-sorts- lately or not focused lately." Why they didn't do that is curious in itself.
Something is just not right about all this.

#1, don't know about lawyers, but doctors go for something called hallway diagnosis. The person can hold it together for the duration of the exam, but then explode in the hallway leaving the office. Worked on my step-father who found himself committed.
Any reports from anybody lurking about after the debate?

Joe Biden revealed once more, in case anybody had doubts, that he is NOT qualified to be POTUS. He obviously had mental issues. And he is all for preventing the deportation of illegals who would spread the coronavirus. He would be absolutely dangerous in the Oval Office.

Bernie appeared scared of Biden, maybe feared Biden would challenged him to "let's meet outside". How will Bernie ever stand up to Putin?
Or maybe it was Biden's strange looking face that scared Bernie. Biden's face is creepy. Or could it be from a stroke?
