Stark raving Hillary

Bill and Hillary Clinton have become something like a disease on the body politic. Perhaps we can call it Clintonitis. It comes in two forms: Clintonitis-B and Clintonitis-H. The Wall Street Journal has published the following exchange between Fareed Zakaria and Hillary Clinton from an interview on CNN this past Sunday. The Journal places it under the bland heading of Notable and Quotable. In case you missed it, you may observe even without the benefit of the video clip (at the first link above) that the woman is in the grip of stark raving Clintonitis-H: Fareed Zakaria: There was an article in Vox

Why does she feel the need to continue dragging her failed political life on and on? It's pathetic. I don't know if she's trying to punish Bill and make him atone for his sexual cheating ways, or what? She and her botox face need to go away.

The Clintons have always reminded me of the Borgias, completely debauched with an insatiable power lust. Everytime I look at either one of them all I see are the lies, corruption, greed, sexual depravity, and dead bodies that pile up in their wake. With a history like theirs, you have to believe they are members in good standing with Old Scratch and willingly seek the dark side.

Hildebeast says she lives "rent free in their heads" which is a phrase coined by Rush Limbaugh years ago regarding both of the Clintons and of course, she doesn't credit that to him. Now she uses that phrase and claims it as hers.... She is a detestable, congenital liar starting with her name supposedly named for Sir Edmund Hillary who had done nothing at the time she was born. Apparently there were too many Benedict Arnolds or Karl Marxes in her town to properly name her.

She really is an extraordinary example of lack of self-awareness. Almost everything she alleges about her perceived enemies applies in spades to her. One would think that having dodged being indicted and jailed for her very real crimes by her drone-like deep state rear guard, she would slink away forever to her quiet walks in the woods in Chappaquiddick. A shadowy electoral Sasquatch to only occasionally be sighted. But no, somewhere deep inside her, waiting to erupt from her man-boobed chest like the progeny of the Alien is her unrequited obsession to hiss her authority over all of us. No. She won't rest until once and for all we finally flamethrow her and her entire brood of egg-pod socialists into electoral oblivion.

Maybe what is getting her all riled up is the fact that she would be a way too obvious pick for VP for Biden. That would give game away. There is a dark horse coming, but we don't know who it is yet. I would be real surprised if they indeed went with Hildabeest, given how Trump destroyed her last time.

I mean no disrespect to the memory of Mary Jo Kopechne but had Hillary been in that Oldsmobile scolding in her usual harridan screech Ted might have driven off the bridge on purpose and made no attempt to save himself.

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

Will Joe Biden and his foreign-policy team accept the extraordinary gift Team Trump is leaving for them under the Christmas tree — or is their hatred for the president so all-consuming that they will toss it in the garbage? I’m talking about the Abraham Accords, peace deals between Israel and various Arab states — the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan — that have sought the Jewish state’s destruction since its founding in 1948. Normalization has proceeded so quickly, Dubai already has a kosher restaurant, and its supermarkets are stocking Israeli agricultural products festooned with Stars of David — a science-fictional sight only a year ago.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday reflected on some of the most memorable moments during his two-year tenure heading the State Department, in a wide-ranging interview on "Special Report." "I haven't had a chance to reflect on it," Pompeo told Bret Baier. "I guess if I were to give you my quick response, it was really something to come back from Pyongyang with three Americans and travel home with them from Asia and return them to their families." Pompeo was referring to the May 2018 release of three Americans detained in North Korea -- all were accused of anti-state activities.

Research psychologist Dr. Robert Epstein believes that search giant Google manipulated what content it showed users in the weeks and months before the 2020 election in a way that was highly favorable to Democrats. “We found a period of days when the vote reminder on Google’s homepage was being sent only to liberals,” Epstein said during an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight. “Not one of our conservative field agents received the vote reminder.” After Epstein made those results public, he said Google actually “shut off that manipulation” and were showing vote reminders to everyone in the four days before the election.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.
Trump’s Flynn Pardon:

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.
Dangerous Game of Monopoly 7 replies

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

A circuit court ruled Monday that Texas and Louisiana can exclude Planned Parenthood from Medicaid funding, a win for the movement to deprive the abortion provider of federal funding. The Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overruled a district court's preliminary injunction preventing the exclusion of Planned Parenthood from Medicaid funding. The court of appeals ruled in an 11-5 majority that Planned Parenthood did not have the right to challenge the state's decisions regarding who receives Medicaid benefits. Medicaid beneficiaries "have no right under the statute to challenge a State’s determination that a provider is unqualified,"

Just in case you thought that all of the elections aside from the Georgia runoffs were behind us, well… they’re not. The counting is still going on in some of the congressional races and one of the tightest ones is in New York’s 22nd district. There, Democratic incumbent Anthony Brindisis is locked in a recount with Republican Claudia Tenney, who previously held the seat before him. The race gap between the two has come down to the point where Tenney is leading by 106 votes and the only ballots left to possibly be considered are the ones that were “set aside” during the initial count due to irregularities.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
