Trump’s economy is what Obama

When Barack Obama secured the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008, he famously declared, “We will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide ... good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.” Looking back with 2020 hindsight (pun intended), Obama and everyone else in 2008 would be surprised to learn that significant improvements in the economy, inequality, and emissions would occur but that the public would credit them not to Obama’s eight-year tenure but to Donald Trump’s victory on Nov. 8, 2016.

1. The economy tanked as soon as it appeared that Obama had a strong possibility of being elected. 2. The economy soared after Obama was out of office and it was certain that Hillary would not be his successor.

Disagree that agree that obama wanted a good economy. HIs speaking out now is a reminder of what he and valjar did to America. Clunkers for cash, obama-phones, fast and furious. Iran deal, locked personal paper work, Tea party suppression, bowing to the Saudi's. Apology tour, Egypt to the brown shirts, Iran billions and freedom fighters he sided with the leaders. Go to the devil you B______.

I too disagree. The good things now happening are what zero SAID he wanted in 2008 and after. The economy he really wanted for the U.S. was that of Venezuela.

The US Economy - a free economy - is naturally buoyant. It wants to float to the surface. After the recession of 2008, it tried to recover. But, Obama kept holding it's head under with new taxes on Small business job producers, literally closing down car dealerships, completely turning over the Healthcare industry and giving almost his entire stimulus to local Democrat governments and Teacher's Unions.

If BO wanted a robust economy, he should have stopped pouring sugar (regulations, taxes) in the gas tank. I agree that BO did NOT want the US strong economically. He felt the US had been a scourge to the world because of its economic and military strength. He hobbled the military by cutting their budget, distracting them with climate nonsense and social missions, and demoralizing them by tying their hands and leading them into failure. He hamstrung the economy through regulations, Dodd-Frank, BOCare, taxes, fighting fracking and pipelines, and numerous other mechanisms. As soon as Trump got into office he reversed all BO's ephemeral efforts. The economy soared and the military became an efficient, on mission, fighting machine again. Trump deftly used these strengths to destroy and cow our foes and bring the world to the economic negotiation table. The US is dominant but fair. This was against all that BO wanted. BO wanted the US reduced and withdrawn. He dribbled out government payouts and painfully slow economic growth to keep citizens under the government's thumb, just like what Sanders and the other smurfs want to do but moreso. BO's massive ego wants to get credit for Trump's economy but he deserves condemnation for his incompetence, lack of vision, and shear dead headedness about the role of the US in the world.

No, I really don't think Obama wanted the great economy that Trump has created. That would be good for the USA, which should be punished for its past slavery. Besides, keeping people dependent on government welfare, medical, and handouts helps build up your posse of supporters.

Obama never wanted the USA to succeed. He, and his cadre of Obamanistas, did everything within their power to damage the nation and the deplorables. A review of his 8 years in office will not discover a single action that benefited this country. That should not be a surprise - there is not a single American patriot to be found in his entire political assemblage, or in his entire life. Communists, racialists, etc, they have different explanations why, but he and his cohort uniformly disdained America and patriotic Americans.

It’s easy to explain ... Obama didn’t know what he was doing and Trump does. On the other hand, I’m not sure the adage that you should never attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence applies to Obama. A nagging voice in my head says that Obama knew exactly what he was doing and achieved the desired result. He was counting on Hillary to finish the job.

SO MANY Good Comments! I would like to pose a question. IF Obama were to have done EVERYTHING in his power, in every area, at every level.... moral, military, legal, economic, national spirit, foreign relations, national attitude...... to Hurt, Weaken, Demoralize, Impoverish, and Tear Down America.........WHAT would he have done DIFFERENTLY than what he actually DID?

It’s taken just 45 days for a royal pipe dream to well and truly bite the dust. Last month, Harry and Meghan tried to bounce the ancient institution into giving them a ‘progressive new role’ as part-time royals, part-time money makers. Harry’s 93-year-old grandmother doesn’t take kindly to being bounced or indeed being blindsided. With British regulations and royal rules on her side, the Queen has imposed her final restriction on the couple embarking on a self-imposed exile. Sussex Royal can be no more. A freshly branded website will have to be re-branded. Their supporters will argue it’s no great loss.

‘Everyone on both sides of the media class — stop using my deceased father for political points and cheap shots,’ Meghan McCain declared on Twitter this week. ‘It is painful. It is traumatizing. And it is perverted. Let us all grieve and try and move on in peace!’ Well, as much as everyone would love to move on — it’s been nearly two years, after all — Meghan won’t let us. A daughter’s love is a beautiful thing, and losing a father is always a terrible, traumatic event, even in your thirties. It’s decidedly more difficult when your father was a public figure, as people who never knew him

A former Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agent known for his lavish lifestyle was arrested Friday on charges of conspiring to launder money for the same Colombian drug cartel he was supposed to be investigating. Authorities arrested Jose Irizarry and his wife at their home near San Juan, Puerto Rico. Federal prosecutors say in a 19-count indictment that the 49-year-old used "his position and his special access to information” to launder millions in drug profits. They both posted $10,000 bail and were released. “It’s a black eye for the DEA to have one of its own engaged in such a high level of corruption," said Mike Vigil,

Lawyers for late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s $600 million U.S. Virgin Islands estate said liens imposed by the local attorney general have left them unable to pay the estate's bills, employees at his various properties or for legal defense from his accusers, according to a filing made public Friday. Co-executors Darren K. Indyke and Richard D. Kahn's lawyers wrote several payments, including for electricity and pest control, that have been returned for “insufficient funds” and asked the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands, which imposed the criminal-activity liens, to strike them down or at least allow the executors to pay for the estate's administration, The Miami Herald reported.

NEW ORLEANS—Standing in line at the hardware store on the edge of the French Quarter one December Monday, I overheard the cashier talking to a regular customer about manhole covers that had exploded just before dawn that morning a couple of blocks away. The metal discs had burst into buildings and crashed into the underside of a car, which in turn caught fire. Power outages and evacuations had ensued. This was just the latest addition to a cluster of troubling events. In the previous few days, a turbine powering the low-lying city’s storm-drainage system had also exploded, unrelated water-main ruptures had flooded neighborhoods on opposite sides of town,

Ever since President Trump commuted the sentence of disgraced former governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich, I’ve been asking myself why he would do such a thing. I have a theory about what might have contributed to the decision, and if I’m right, Barack Obama should be concerned. When Barack Obama won the presidency in 2008, it was then-Governor Blagojevich’s responsibility to appoint someone to fill the seat. But, Blagojevich didn’t just want to give it away, he wanted something for it. “A Senate seat is a f----ng valuable thing. You don’t just give it away for nothing,” Blagojevich said at the time.

On behalf of AFSCME Local 2938, chapter President James Appleby penned a letter to the AFSCME state headquarters in South St. Paul, Minn. making the case that Klobuchar was "wholly undeserving of AFSCME's endorsement." The document, obtained by Fox News but previously reported by HuffPost, takes on new relevance as Klobuchar seeks the Democratic nomination for president and the primary campaign moves to union-heavy Nevada.

It used to be that a murderous regime needed a pliable Western journalist to get its propaganda printed in the New York Times. Not anymore! It can submit directly to the Times opinion section, as the Taliban proved this week. “What We, the Taliban, Want,” reads the actual headline to an article published Thursday by an actual American newsroom. The op-ed, authored by Taliban deputy leader and suspected terrorist Sirajuddin Haqqani, opens with a series of sentences that attempt to “both sides” the conflict between the Taliban and the United States and present the Americans as unreliable and untrustworthy negotiators.

The attacks on Michael Bloomberg came early and often at Wednesday’s debate in Las Vegas, but none of them, of course, touched on his infamous “kill it” comment to a pregnant subordinate. No, the party of abortion at all stages wasn’t going to touch that one. Instead, Elizabeth Warren focused on Bloomberg’s thoughts about “horse-faced lesbians” and “fat broads.” Bloomberg has paid advisers millions of dollars to prepare him for just such moments, but he still acted like he was answering the challenges for the first time. He came off as cold and flat-footed — the unlikeable technocrat trying woodenly to make himself palatable to a left-wing audience with half-hearted answers.
