President Donald Trump delivered a speech to the nation Thursday celebrating his impeachment trial acquittal the day before, blasting the process as “crooked” and thanking the “incredible warriors” who sided with him during the ordeal. Trump described the event as a celebration of another victory over the “evil” forces allied against him. The president’s address was populated with Cabinet members and staffers, as well as activists and allies. Spotted at the event were former Sen. Rick Santorum, Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Matt Gaetz (R-CA), Mark Meadows (R-NC), House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Sens. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Mike Braun (R-IN), Mike Lee (R-UT), Chuck Grassley (R-IA),

I watched it and felt like I had just seen a fireside chat by our president. Some things I noted: Celebration of Warriors. 'They stick together and they are vicious as h#ll.' Why isn't Germany paying. Why are we always paying. and TOTAL ACQUITTAL. I pray his long nightmare is over, but it is doubtful as long as the media are on the other side. As Mark Meadows said, 'We've got your back.' I loved hearing the personal stories.

I agree, #1. This was a very fitting and personal event of Celebration for our weary President and First Lady, his family and all the main warriors who have stood with him. He will not forget those in Congress who stood solidly with him through good press days and bad, through lies and misinformation and were not afraid to stick THEIR political necks out there for him for so many months.
I hope he gets some well-deserved rest the next few days. God bless this incredibly courageous President.

What a great event… it has turned into a roast of Congressional supporters. A very good, kind, humorous roast… Heartwarming.

The gloves are starting to come off...
Glad I watched this live on C Span 2. Tore into his enemies, showered his friends with praise, callled out Strozk and Page reading their texts, mocked the he!! out of Comey and Romney, and showed the love to friends and family.
Worth a watch.

Matt Gaetz (R-FLORIDA) not CA is putting forth a bill to hold 'Nasty' Pelosi accountable and 'not above the law' ( my words) for her tempermental and planned behavior during the SOTUS. Go Republicans!

I watched the celebration on Donald Trump's Facebook page. It's long passed due for some heads to roll. The President called out many of his haters and AG Barr it's time for indictments and some pay back. It's President Trump' s turn to be vindictive his enemies have earned his wrath. Do it for his family above all. It was wonderful to see some Republicans do their part in this fight for America against haters, socialist and communist.

One thing really caught my attention. He recognized and praised Kelly Loeffler, the new appointed senator from GA first, then also strongly praised Rep. Doug Collins for his efforts. Wonder who gets his endorsement in the Senate primary in GA. Collins may have made a mistake. Could be awkward. What say you Georgians?

I watched the speech. I thought it was wonderful to hear PRESIDENT Trump thank all the people who helped get the truth out during the impeachment scam. But the media is saying that now PRESIDENT Trump is going to get revenge. How do they know this. I hope the revenge is draining the swamp I think a lot of dems and republicans are deep into corruption with Ukraine and other places. The PRESIDENT knows this and said he was going to drain the swamp. Now I hope he does
Say the 91 Pslam for our PRESIDENT Trump, and our country and true Americans

He also thanked Mike Turner (Ohio), who did a masterful job questioning the "witnesses." I had to look him up, he was so impressive. Found out that he was a never Trumper, a big fan of Kasich. I'm not sure he ever endorsed DJT in 2016. In any case, it was an absolute treat to watch him take down Vindman, Sondland, Hill, Homes and Yovanvitch. Would sure love to know where he stands now. Here he is telling the Dems that they will be the laughingstock of history if they impeach the President for not taking a meeting with the President of Ukraine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3pxtj9P3T4 - hilarious!

Thank you, President Trump, for letting us watch this intensely intimate moment as you thanked those who stood beside you in the trying ordeal. When you invited Ivanka forward for a hug, I finally teared up a bit. No other US President could have been as gracious as you have been under siege.

This a good time to pause, give thanks and reload.
I want justice meted out. Wray should be gone. Comey, Brennan, Ciramella, Clapper, Ohr, Page, Strozk -all under oath - and answering some questions. it’s a travesty if they skate. Bet Steele has a story to tell. I can think of no more sinister crime than their plot to overthrow the President using my taxpayer dollars.
Are they gonna get away with it?
