Don’t Pretend The Shakira And J. Lo
Super Bowl Sexcapade Was Surprising

Miley Cyrus writhes around on the floor in a plastic red second skin, aggressively grasping her curves with her claw-clad hands down to her studded crotch. “Don’t f**k with my freedom.” She lectures again and again through her lyrics, as the phrases “virginity is a social construct” and “tough titties” flicker strobe-like on the screen. The unabashed vulgarity of the once-child star who gave us the best of both worlds now defying goodness in this hellish spectacle was disgustingly hypnotic — I couldn’t believe what my eyes were absorbing. This is what my mind flicked back to as I took in the hyper-sexualized Super Bowl LIV halftime show.

One can pretty much surmise, and accurately, who was raised by GARBAGE. J Lo for example.

Agree - no one should be surprised. I've assumed a vulgar, hypersexed program since the "wardrobe malfunction" years ago. Just another reason why I only surf through the Super Bowl broadcast to check the score, and only watch the last few minutes to see who wins.

I find it ironically amusing that Shakira and J. Lo find it "empowering" of women to be reduced to exposing their bodies on national television. A little further and it might be classified as pornography. I thought women didn't want to "objectified"?

Most of them are short-termers, at least if recent history is any indication. Most of these vulgar creatures, sans any sort of moral compass, usually succumb to drugs and booze at an early age so we don't have to put up with it forever.

Nice. Once a country’s mores begins to degrade as seen, (not by me and my household) for example, on national T.V., there is no turning back. I’m not optimistic for this country in the long run.

I'll take a large, comfortable, mid-sixties Cadillac back seat to no one regarding my testosterone driven, toxic male POV......but.....I find the booty shakin', pelvic thrusting 'Dance' moves to be very off-putting. A higher class prostitute avoids reminding the client that she is bought and sold and has no respect for herself or the subtle magic of sexual attraction. Guess I'm just a hopeless romantic.

While the halftime show was not exactly family oriented, it was fairly tame compared to Las Vegas, or Miami, or New Orleans during Mardi-Gra.

Best comment about the halftime show: they avoided wardrobe malfunctions by not having any wardrobe. The whole thing was seriously obscene. Group pelvic thrusts? Twerking? Pole dancing? The show was not entertaining. It was not uplifting. It was tawdry and demeaning. Who wrote the script? The misogynists from Victoria's Secret? Women were objectified as sex objects. The only talent on display was the fireworks, which were synchronized. And people paid tens of thousands of dollars per person for this? I guess P. T. Barnum was right: "there is a sucker born every minute."

The Democrats are lucky the February debate in New Hampshire took place on a Friday night, when relatively few were watching — because if they wanted to deliver the message to the working-class white people who delivered the upper Midwest and the presidency to Donald Trump in 2016 that they should stick with him rather than voting blue in November, they did a brilliant job of it. Tom Steyer, the billionaire who’s trying to buy a win Bloomberg-style in the South Carolina Democratic primary, issued a stark warning at the beginning of the Democratic debate Friday night in New Hampshire:

Firing Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a Ukraine expert at the National Security Council, and his twin brother Yevgeny, an NSC lawyer, is just the start of a promised restructuring and a rebuilding of the National Security Council. Last September, National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien pledged to drastically downsize what he called the “bloated” NSC staff, so it is encouraging to see that some of that “bloat” was just escorted out of the White House on Friday. The swelling of the NSC ranks was real and Obama was to blame. During the George W. Bush administration, there were 100 policy professionals working in the NSC under Condoleezza Rice —

Washington - Six oil executives held in Venezuela for more than two years were suddenly moved from house arrest into prison on Wednesday night, just hours after Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido met with US President Donald Trump. The "CITGO 6" -- Tomeu Vadell, Gustavo Cardenas, Jorge Toledo, Alirio Zambrano, Jose Luis Zambrano and Jose Angel Pereira -- were taken by the Maduro regime's intelligence services from their separate house arrest locations, according to several family members, Vadell's legal team, and the State Department. According to the legal team, they were removed "without warnings or judicial order" and are being held together in the same cell at El Heliocoide prison,

When President Barack Obama launched his 2012 reelection campaign, he did it with back-to-back rallies in a pair of logical places: Virginia and Ohio. The two essential swing states, with 31 electoral votes between them, were vital to Obama’s chances of winning a second term. Ohio, a traditional Midwestern bellwether, epitomized the old electoral map, from the now-distant era when presidential elections featured dozens of contested states and candidates sought to campaign in all of them. Virginia, a Southern state that for decades had voted Republican for president until Obama broke the streak in 2008, represented a new map, one in which rapid demographic change created new opportunities for Democrats.

Friday was the last Democratic debate before the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday. There were seven candidates onstage at St. Anselm College in Manchester: Former Vice President Joe Biden, U.S. Sens. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar, former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg and businessmen Andrew Yang and Tom Steyer. So what was my take on this debate? Below you’ll find my winners and losers for the evening. WINNERS BIGGEST WINNER: Sen. Amy Klobuchar On Friday night Klobuchar had a breakthrough moment; perhaps because the U.S. senator from Minnesota knew this could be her last debate if she didn’t step it up -- and she did.

The partisan impeachment of President Donald Trump finally passed, mercifully, like a kidney stone, with Democrats grimacing helplessly during acquittal in the Senate on Wednesday. It's over. The cable news networks loved it because they love a show but there was no real drama. Americans knew for months how this would turn out. They knew Democrats didn't have the votes in the Senate. It was all about targeting select Republican senators in the next elections. The people turned off this farce of Democratic Impeachment Theater long ago. Americans aren't as dumb as some politicians think they are. They paid attention for a while. They read the transcript of his phone call to Ukraine --

Sudesh Amman was singularly unsuccessful in his wish to kill kafirs, as he put it, and thereby find himself surrounded by the ho*r al ayn — beautiful handmaidens who’ll do anything you want, frankly — in the afterlife. He had perhaps not followed the instructions in the book he had about how to stab people. Two were injured by the madman on Streatham High Road in south London; both, mercifully, should live. However, Amman was shot dead by plain-clothes policemen before he could even scream out the old ‘Allahu Akbar’ thing. The cops were already there because Amman was known to them — known very well to them.

The rich are different from you and me — they can buy themselves instant presidential campaigns. Former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg has elbowed himself into the Democratic nomination race solely on the basis of his fortune. His campaign is high-handed as only a billionaire many times over could even contemplate. He entered late, is skipping the early contests and hasn’t participated in any of the debates to date (although that will change soon, thanks to the Democratic National Committee retrofitting its rules for Bloomberg).

CHICAGO -- The brutal beating of a 68-year-old man by 11 teens on a passenger train here Monday was captured in a disturbing, graphic video obtained by Fox News. The Chicago Police Department told Fox News the beating is under investigation, but no one is in custody because the victim “was unable to identify his attacker(s) due to his injuries.” A police source told Fox that the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office “wouldn’t touch” the case if the victim can’t identify those accused or is unable to cooperate. When reached about prosecuting the case, state’s attorney's office responded: "We are unable to comment."
