Six suspected drug dealers who are accused of running a $7 million fentanyl distribution operation out of a Bronx apartment were released without bail under the state’s new criminal justice law early Wednesday. The suspects—Livo Valdez, Jaslin Baldera, Frederick Baldera, Frandi Ledema, Diego Tejada and Parfraimy Antonio—were arrested Monday when officers with the New York Drug Enforcement Task Force raided an apartment on Sedgwick Avenue in Kingsbridge that was allegedly used as a heroin and fentanyl packaging mill.(Snip) Hundreds of thousands of the envelopes packed with the powder were spread across two tables and overflowing from boxes in the apartment, authorities said.

Where's Charles Bronson when you need him? A little vigilante justice may be in order... the good citizens of New York might perform a little posse comitatus action if Charles is unavailable, which I understand he is.

Thank you andrew, and all the absolute morons who voted for you. Also a big shout out to the other millions of NY residents who can't be bothered to vote or who think voting means jury duty. Hint, it's your drivers license and how you pay for shelter.

There doesn’t appear to be much of a “war on drugs” here in Denver. Our highways are extremely dangerous and one can almost get high just walking on the 16th street mall or get attacked by someone that is high.

Why would anyone want to be a cop in that horrible place? There would be zero sense of accomplishment, zero improvements to public safety. Doing a good job would have the same result as doing no job at all. This may be the last shovel of dirt on the grave of a city that was turned over to the criminals a hundred years ago.

I am shock, no really. I get that the average speeding ticket guy might not need to be held, but this is horrible. If the judge DID lock them up, he/she would be over ruled. Why have a judge in the first place? Let the cops bust them, give them a date and let them go. No need for some black robed paper pusher to get involved. Besides, if they are, and they should be, looking at hard time they won't bother to show up and we can just wash our hands of the whole mess. Can't find illegals, so they aren't going to find these scofflaws.
What is the point? Completely taking the human element out of justice!

I wonder how this pro perp ideology is affecting NYC tourism. I haven't visited there in quite some time and have no intention of going there any time soon.
NYC is a big tourist destination and eventually you'd think those dollars will disappear. If the police are prevented from protecting law abiding citizens will tourists feel safe? Additionally include a shrinking tax base from fleeing residents and things don't look good.
So when New Yorkers start to complain they should look in their mirrors to see where the problem started. Voter apathy is one of the culprits.
I hate to say they deserve this but......n

If a doctor over prescribed fentanyl not only would the doctor be in jail for life, Democrats and the Kneepad Media would be claiming the docotor is representative of the entire medical profession and gooberment needs to proscute even more doctors. But a real live fentanyl drug dealer gets out free. What a crazy world.

The 100% demonrat run legislature and Cuomo himself must be so proud of themselves. Fentanyl kills. Is that their end game? Kill as many citizens as possible so they can usher more illegals and imported jihadis to replace them?

Easy solution to this issue. Change the wording from 'Bail' to 'Pre Incarceration Tax or PI Tax' and the legislature will vote for it.
