In early October, Chuck Todd stared stone-faced into MSNBC's living rooms and intoned gravely, "I don't say this lightly, but let's be frank — a national nightmare is upon us. The basic rules of our democracy are under attack from the president[.] ... [T]hat all but ensures his impeachment in the House of Representatives. ... This moment should arguably be a national emergency. The Founding Fathers would have considered it a national emergency — if the president publicly lobbied multiple governments to interfere in the next election. It's tough to say lightly, but this is the moment we're at."Said lightly or not,

We no longer have a free press.
They are all moral and intellectual slaves to the Democrat party.

I had to go and read the article bursting my bubble. No, he wasn't talking about Obama and how he used the FBI, CIA, NSA, FBI, ATF, IRS as his personal political goon squads.

Media/dems/Left FUNCTION by trying to tap into negatives. They invoke and incite fear, envy, hatred, anger, contempt, ridicule, suspicion, and other destructive emotions. For all "bad" things that happen and things they fabricate, they blame others and assign them evil intentions. They may be focused on Trump right now but this is how they have operated for quite a while. This has an targeted impact on a portion of people that respond more emotionally rather than rationally.
As these emotions are stirred up, it creates a sense of panic and urgency. People know there are such things as rabid dogs. Knowing does not evoke fear. But when the media attempts to bring the rabid dog into your house, fear and panic run amok. Emotional people are overwhelmed and cannot rationalize that the dog is certainly not in their house or neighborhood or state and he may not even really exist.
There has been comment about increased anxiety in the public. Maybe that is because the media is creating phobias for their own purposes with no concern about the overall effect on individuals and the Country.
One might argue that Trump has used fearful words as well and that is true, to an extent. The difference is in describing a real problem, like uncontrolled immigration vs. saying the "basic rules of our democracy are under attack from the president", a President who after 4 years of investigations has not been found to have broken any laws, has had enormous positive impact on our Country, and is about to be acquitted again from another partisan attack composed of lies and that actually DID break the "basic rules of our democracy".
The media has reached a point of no trust. They cry "Wolf" not just in error, but in deliberate efforts to corrupt our political process. It's not enough simply to ignore them. They need to be held accountable. A landslide reelection of President Trump will be a "dope slap" they deserve. I don't hold out hope it will "fix" them but not all dopes are fixable. Loss of viewers and readers may be more effective over time. It is already having an impact.

"This moment should arguably be a national emergency. The Founding Fathers would have considered it a national emergency — if the president publicly lobbied multiple governments to interfere in the next election." - Chuck Todd
He (and the rest of the enemedia) apparently have no concerns about the Ovomit administration working with foreign governments to develop and use oppo research to launch an illegal spying operation to interfere in the 2016 election.
And they wonder why we hold them in such contempt.

If there is any group in modern society that should be regularly beaten, it's the members of the MFM.

The Acorn is right. A national problem is indeed upon us, and it was fomented by democrats, and aided and enabled by YOUR profession Chuckie. You have to have morals before you can be in a panic over them being in danger. Democrats do not have morals, they sold them for corruption and gain years and years ago. Trump is exposing that, because HE has the moral outrage to do so, and he is backed by our outrage. Why do you think we elected him in the first place?

After 33 months of accusing Trump of treason, subjecting America to night after night of hysterical mendacious outbursts straight from the DNC talking points, conflating the slightest of silly connections to some huge Putin Trump conspiracy that never existed - and then to witness the massive train wreck of the Mueller Report followed by the radioactive fallout of the IG Horowitz report - should jade even the most naive of news consumers in America that they are being force fed lies from a biased media who has chosen sides with the Democratic Party to remove Trump from office.
