Pro-lifers are marching today, as they do every year, to commemorate a great evil that was done in January 1973 and to express solidarity with its innocent victims. The Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade eliminated legal protections for unborn children in all 50 states, and did so without any justification in the text, original understanding, or history of the Constitution. Since that time, more than 60 million have perished in abortions.
When the Supreme Court issued its diktat, the New York Times called it a “historic resolution of a fiercely controversial issue.” It is to the great credit of pro-lifers that they refused to let the issue

FTA: "Republican presidents and senators, including President Trump and Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell, have advanced that work a great deal...."
"Including"? Try again, NR. President Trump has done more in less time for pro-life than anyone thought likely or possible. He has visibly and fearlessly led on this issue like no other Republican I've ever seen. His Vice President, Mike Pence, previously became the first to address the rally while still in office. Ably assisted by Senator McConnell, Trump is relentlessly reshaping the judicial landscape where this battle has been fought and lost in the past. Now President Trump has addressed the march in person, something no other president has done.
Imagine the NR headlines if President Reagan had done that. They would have rightly hailed his historic political courage and leadership. Instead, here's what NR went with yesterday at noon: "The March for Life Isn’t about Trump."
You can read the rest here: https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/the-march-for-life-isnt-about-trump/#slide-1
Now imagine the headlines if Hillary Clinton had been elected president, something that NR did everything it could to cause. The march would have marginalized, the media would have ignored it, and the judiciary would have been lost for a generation. And another generation would have been lost.
Whatever the March for Life means to the editors at NR, the march for truth has long since marched on, leaving them far behind.

The left has paved the way in recent years by establishing "Sanctuary" zones in defiance of laws they don't care to follow. Would it not be surprising to see states and counties follow their lead by establishing "Life Sanctuary" zones?

60 million. Thats a lot of potential down the crapper - probably more than just a few Einstein’s in that mix as well. What a waste.

Don’t forget, it’s not just the 60 million. It’s their children and grandchildren and great grandchildren and on and on and on....an infinite amount of potential and lives well lived.

Forgot to mention - pro-life is my #1 criteria when considering who to vote for. I figure that, if you’re wrong on the basic right to life, you’re probably wrong on everything else.

Never forget that God knows the name and the frame of every single one of the sixty million people murdered by their own mothers. Are the ''editors'' trying to do a little bit of hand washing? I think William F. Buckley, from whom they take their name, is still ''spinning in his grave.''

And just a quick note to right-to-chooser, Megan Rapinoe - Megan, are you grateful to this very day that your mother did not abort you? After all, leftist equality means everybody gets a chance, right?

Waiting for an overdue and forceful (in every sense) repair to the LIE that enabled this abomination. Tha LIE is that the decrees of a judge or klavern of judges at any level have the innate power to "make new law" via their decrees, and to use those frequently wrong decrees as the firm basis for yet more decrees, all effectively beyond the reach of the citizens or other arms of government. Abortion is nowhere mentioned in the Constitution, yet that gaggle at SCOTUS, notably including Potter Stewart (who case-shopped the issue) maintained otherwise. Unless and until the entire judiciary, certainly to include federal judges at all levels, are slapped down hard, and Originalism returns, we are effectively ruled by dishonest self-aggrandizing loyalists. Something never supported in our Constitution. With, as here, a hideous and growing death count.

Not so much a waste, #3, as a crying shame.

Here's the ugly truth! If anything grows and changes shape ... it is alive.
The fact that a baby needs food from his/her mother to reach birth and leave the womb is no different than an acorn needing water, nutrients and sunlight to grow into an oak. It is this splitting and growing of the cells that proves it is alive. You don't have to be religious in any way to know that the aborted baby ... sorry, "fetus" ... is clearly living. That is, until you kill it. Then it stops living. Period.
Those who have faith believe that we are NOT humans (whatever that may mean) with "souls". No, instead, we are ALL immortal souls temporarily trapped in finite bodies for a set time. Bodies that will age and die, as they should. The soul ... your soul ... is infinite and immortal and thus part of the Godhead. It also means that God ... the Creator of all things ... knew us (our souls) before He placed us (part of Himself) into "bodies" and put us down here for awhile. Whether you are a day after conception or 120 years old, you have the same soul. It hasn't changed or aged in any way.
Thus, the biblical admonition "... what God has joined together let no man pull asunder..." clearly refers to the BABY --- not just the marriage!
Lastly, scientists claim humans of superior intellects and ability occur in only one out of every 400 births but true "genius" comes only once in 10,000 births. That means we, as a society, have aborted 150,000 really bright people and 6,000 potential Albert Einsteins in the last 47 years. Sad.
