Congratulations, Virginia – you overcame the terrible peril that was patriots rallying in Richmond to peacefully express your disgust with Governor Jolson Klanrobe and his legislative back-up dancers’ attempt to strip you of your rights. You came, you saw, you protested, and then you swept up.
But the fight’s not over. It’s just starting. But know this – you will win.
Let’s begin with a basic principle: You have no moral obligation to respect or obey unconstitutional actions by a government. None. And when a government acts outside its constitutional limits, you do not merely have the right but the sacred duty to reject and replace it.

Great advice for us all. We may not be where Virginia is now, but we get it. We understand the strategy of the left and gun control/confiscation is a big part of their plans. I was carefully watching and praying for Virginia on Monday because I know what the left wants. Thankfully, those patriots refused to give it to them. The calm resolve and willingness to peacefully protest was a tribute to the American spirit that can’t be extinguished by the threats and taunts of the left. The advice to get involved in the Republican Party is a good way ahead for all of us. If we ever make a statement it must be on November 3, 2020, and what a glorious statement it is going to be. Vote only for Republicans and never vote for a democrat regardless of the office. They must be shut out of politics. Virginians put the democrats off their game on Monday because of their calm resolve. Now they know you will not yield. Beat them at their own game. Show them what happens when patriots are pushed too far. Vote them all out.

I'm curious what he thinks would be a proper inducement for violence. Government roadblocks? Malicious prosecutions? Door to door searches? As it is people will be making hiding places for their guns that in a free society would be unnecessary. He is forcing free people who have committed no legitimate crime and are exercising an enumerated, protected right to hide in the shadows.
In my (free) state, I can clean an AR of FAL or CETME or AK on my front porch if I want to. The neighbors may come by to chat, the mailman will deliver letters, and if a deputy drives by he will probably wave. If I have to hide in the basement, lock all the doors and pull the curtains, am I really free? Would that be enough inducement?

The first sentence of Kurt's piece is beautiful. I really think Klanrobe was hoping for a fatal shooting so he and his "back-up dancers" could claim, "you see, guns must be confiscated from the people".
Note to the People of Virginia - recall Klanrobe and his "back-up dancers" asap. This will require ALL right-minded folks in Virginia to vote to overcome the leftist stronghold in Alexandria.

Governor Blackface chose this opportune time to try what all democrats want to do and he failed. This will not be his last attempt and next time he will push further. I'm beginning to think that a good old mass protest with loaded guns would make our point better but we would have to have the numbers as well as the discipline. Nobody wants to fire the first shot but that may be what it takes to settle this unconstitutional infringement. The lawless action was committed solely by the Governor in restricting open carry in an open carry state. Shame on him.
The National Guard did not want to start shooting at Kent State in 1970 and the tragedy was started by some idiot who worked as an FBI informant among the students who panicked and fired his pistol. We know now how far the democrats are willing to go to get their way so we should expect it in the future. We CAN NOT give up our only means of defense against democrat tyranny.

I thought they did just fine, perfect actually, they know what's going on. I like Kurt Schlichter, but this kind of came across as an unnecessary scold to me.

I watched what happened in Virginia because my state has turned deep blue and rumblings from our governor are the same as governor Klanrobe. County sheriffs here have already had to declare sanctuary counties because of the threats from the gun grabbing, baby murdering governess. Republicans got lazy and three of our largest cities put democrats in power it looks like Bernie Sanders will carry my state. Good for Virginia patriots carry on.

The radical left has always been willing to "break a few eggs" to achieve their ends. Will they go so far as to insert a few agent provocateurs or stage a violent false flag operation to justify extreme actions? Judging by their conduct at the Kavanaugh hearing, today's impeachment and the actions of Antifa in the field, it seems inevitable that they will trigger violent events to blame on law abiding gun owners.

Jolson Klanrobe LOL!! I followed the march on conservative media and then watched some accounts from the MSM. Were they even at the same event?
I loathe media more and more each day.

Governor Jolson Klanrobe?? Legislative back up dancers?? Bwahahahaha, Kurt is on fire today. I havve to wonder if it would not be a good idea for gun owners to purchase and maintain a satellite style cell phone. Now that we know government is going to jam cell towers, might as well branch out to other sources for phone usage.
