The problem for conservatives debating progressives and leftists is that those on the far left always choose the playing field. Using a sports analogy, progressives wisely choose a baseball field for a confrontation, putting conservatives at a decisive disadvantage. Conservatives need to stop playing progressives in baseball and start playing them in football. Think about it: In football, your opponent can start out with the ball on offense, but suddenly have it taken away by a pass interception or by recovering a fumble. Now, your team is on offense and in a position to score.

Imposing socialism is an impeachable offense. When is that trial going to happen? Republicans are passive, never do anything. 3 years and nothing from a Republican AG. 2 years of Paul Ryan and nothing.

It takes longer to put together a real criminal case than it does to put together a fake one. The Dims file first. They choose the playing field and charge the real case as obstruction of justice of the fake case. Oh and nothing can be publicly done on the real case until the fake case is done. At which point they start another fake case.
Do they ever reach a point where the fake cases boomerangs on them?
They are the party of The Gullibles, so maybe not. Is it possible that one too many fake cases will rouse their constituents to wonder “didn’t that happen already and wasn’t Trump cleared?”

Fortunately, we recently hired a new coach and have every intention of signing him up again, next fall.

I’ve often said conservatives should stop playing nice guy. I would start every comment regarding Dems by referring to them a “Filthy baby killers” then make my statement.

Ask them questions! Make them defend their policies. The best question to ask when liberals are agonizing over the poor illegals is how many should we keep letting in? One million? 5 million? 10 million? Make them give you a number. It exposes the ridiculousness of it all.

Last week Senator McSally made an example of making a touchdown by not playing nice and commanding respect from the media.

Conservatives "conserve", they have no offense. The idea is that people will see the logic and sense in "good" things and protect and defend them, or reject "progressive" attempts to modify. At best conservatives play at the edges, "reforming" things they didn't like in the first place, but have become comfortable to have.
And then there are others at the edge of conservatism who advocate all sorts of nonsense under the guise of conservative action. Foreign adventures and perpetual "entanglements" are prime examples. Managing the economy and markets by Fed Reserve manipulation and government budgetary spending (after promising to balance the budget, braying for a "Balanced Budget Amendment").

Yup let's focus on the treasonous sale of hypersonic missile technology to Russia and China through the Russian entity, Skolkovo. As they say, follow the money and there's a big pile to explain sitting at the Clinton foundation. To believe that these were not ill-gotten one must believe in the altruism of our Russian and Chinese government friends. And the evidence to support that is nonexistent.

Us voters are the key. We can't wait around for someone else to make things happen! The best thing we can do is vote, and eliminate democrats from office. Then, we can start eliminating do-nothing Republicans.
Politicians don't fear voters as long as they are just complaining. They fear us when we get our backs up and start voting them out!

This will never end but President Trump in his first four years had to set to American ship on it's intended course. any counter attacks on the democrats would just appear to be a vendetta. The 2020 election and beyond will see the President and AG hit the ground running there is more provable evidence of the corruption and it's players now than in 2016. We could never believe the magnitude of the corruption in Washington also the RINO globalist players in the Republican party that have to be weeded out.
Republicans the 'go along to get along' party is forever over also wanting media approval and niceties at cocktail parties. You are either with us or against us and crossing the aisle days are over Republicans need to learn that and back the President of the party.

The problem is, Leftists win just because you start playing the game with them. You see, they don't honor any rules or boundaries. In their game, they can do X but we are not allowed to. We cannot do Y but they can. Imagine playing football where the dems are allowed to beat their opponents with a baseball bat but we are not. There is no way to win, let alone go on offense. Also, the sports reporters, the media, declare you lost, even if you scored far more points.
A specific example, Trump cannot kill a terrorist leader but BO could kill hundreds of them and brag that "I'm pretty good at killing people.". There is no way to "win" this scenario because they have already predetermined the outcome, NO MATTER WHAT.
Playing the political game with dems/media/Left is like having an argument with an idiot. You can never win. The only thing to do is to trounce them in elections and push by them and ignore them.
Notice that while Trump engages them to troll them, he mostly goes around them to get things done. He has gotten bills passed with Republican majorities. He has made executive changes that don't require Congressional approval. He has gone after BO's weakness of not getting Congressional approval for things like the Iran deal and Paris accord. This is partly why the dems are so enraged. They have no power. Trump does NOT try to deal with them anymore because they are not honest brokers. There is no point to it.
I think Trump has a plan to win YUGE in the election and then ignore the dems. That is how you beat them.

Ultimately it is up to the citizens. Try finding viable candidates who understand they will be held accountable and then VOTE. A big turnout is 50%? If you aren't registered and voting, be quiet.

Conservatives don;t fight. They pay other people to fight for them. And they don't pay very well.
