Impeachment Is Not the Issue,
It's the 2020 Election

Original Article

If you listen to Republicans, the impeachment of President Trump is a “bizarre strategy,” a partisan political blunder by the Democrats, doomed to fail in the Senate, and already backfiring. As evidence, the “hit job” has energized the Republican base, boosted GOP fundraising and, come November, will cause House Democrats in Trump districts to lose re-election. To think House Democrats actually believe Trump committed impeachable offenses grossly underestimates their political acumen. The Democrats regularly run circles around the Republicans. While the latter jumps pieces on a checkerboard, the Democrats are thinking three steps ahead, looking to checkmate the king.

I don’t think our side is quite as inept as this article is implying. After all, anyone can read Rules for Radicals and I’m sure congressional aides consider it required reading. Yes, the Repubs have to fight the MSM also, but that’s been going on for years and at least they now have other means to spread the word. So, we’ll see. I’m pretty confident in our bunch, they really impressed me during the House hearings. And also, we have an incredible amount of prayer reaching up to our Lord. Never discount that. (And keep our powder dry!)

It seems to me the issue is not about the cleverness of the Left, but about the stupidity of their followers... and the "liberal" judges who allow Dem fraud at the polls. Following this sham impeachment, I believe they will push cheating to get their way... adolescent, greedy... caring for nothing but immediate gain for the Swampsters. Like Venezuela and San Francisco.

It's time to start prosecuting officials for negligence. Failing to ensure legitimate voting, by removing invalid names from the rolls, is a willful act. Willfully contaminating the vote, for whatever reason (we know the real reason) is a crime. Putin would be proud!

The opening statements by the House managers will be campaign commercials, nothing more. And the stunt won't work, if Republicans fight back. (Studies of jury behavior find that opening statements, which are not evidence, tend to win cases more than half the time.)

I agree with poster #1. I have followed the spy gate story for 2 years and have seen the lies and subterfuge of the Dems for myself. I’m positive that there are 1000’s of red-blooded Americans like myself who are sick of the hypocrisy and sedition. We want these traitors punished. Thankfully, media is losing its grip on the majority as they are the chief instigators of this treasonous scheme!

CNN The Lead host Jake Tapper on Thursday criticized Democrats for touting evidence brought forth by indicted Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas, reminding viewers that the former Trump supporter has a “serious credibility problem.” “We can’t ignore Parnas has a serious credibility problem,” Tapper said during a panel discussion on Parnas. “He’s under indictment for campaign finance charges. The foreign minister of Ukraine told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that he doesn’t trust a word Parnas is saying. And yet I see people out there on social media — Democrats — acting as if this guy is the second coming of Theodore Roosevelt or something.” CNN reporter Nia Malika-Henderson agreed

Barron Trump was dressed to impressed in an olive green bomber when he headed to Florida with his parents on Friday, and he seems to be taking style cues from this mother, Melania, who has worn a strikingly similar outfit. The 13-year-old, who now towers over his father, President Donald Trump, had on a $150 flight jacket from Alpha Industries over a black top and pants when he walked across the South Lawn of the White House and boarded Marine One with his family. President Trump is accused of having withheld U.S. aid to pressure Ukraine to conduct an investigation into past election interference; and into allegations of wrongdoing by former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, who was paid a fortune to sit on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian fossil fuel company widely viewed as being corrupt. For months, Democrats have claimed that President Trump was not interested in an actual investigation,

Democrats are suddenly obsessed with Lev Parnas, the Rudy Giuliani associate who was indicted on federal campaign charges last fall. The Ukrainian-born Parnas was a gopher for Giuliani, President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, who wanted to investigate possible leads in preparing a defense against charges of Russia collusion. Parnas agreed to testify during the House impeachment inquiry, and a federal judge let him hand over documents and text messages last week. But it is not clear Parnas has anything to offer. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is dumping documents, and MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow did her best in an interview with Parnas on Wednesday evening.
