Hustler Magazine is under fire of a graphic Christmas card that was sent to several lawmakers featuring a depiction of President Trump’s assassination. The cover of the card shows an illustration of a gunman saying, “I just shot Donald Trump on Fifth Avenue. And no one arrested me.” The inside, however, shows a figure resembling President Trump laying in a pool of blood in the middle of a busy street with smiling civilians along with the gunman saying, “Merry Christmas.”

Preparing the ground for their "ultimate solution" to President Donald J. Trump - and us. My greatest concern has been and still is that taboo word with back to back a$$e$ when all else has failed to remove him. And for all his Christian creds: Michael Richard Pence is no Donald Trump, and will be what George Herbert Walker Bush was to Ronald Reagan - no matter how "loyal" he is at present. I just hope and pray that Secret Service and the Lord have his back. .. and that's the truthhhhhhhh. [h/t Lily Tomlin as Edith Ann]

This repulsive and illegal act is typical of members of the democrat party. I believe they are out there with the assassination memes hoping that some nut job will be triggered enough to attempt it. The Secret Service should pay them a visit and use whatever means is available to them to make it clear that this is wholly unacceptable. The democrat party is the party of debauchery and depravity as evidenced by the actions of its members. This is, however, a particularly repugnant and foolish act not to mention extremely dangerous. A price needs to be paid and I would have said that if Obama had received anything similar. Too many threats are being made against this President. If they are ignored, it only emboldens someone crazy enough to act upon the suggestion.

In my way of thinking the Washington Post and the New York Time are no better than Hustler. They just don't have the balls to come right out and ask for an assasination like Hustler just did. They just keep stabbing the President (and America) in the back and encourage his demise in a less flagrant way.

The Bernie Sanders campaign plans to knock on half a million Iowa doors in January. Elizabeth Warren’s team is asking supporters for spare couches to house out-of-state volunteers. And the national polling leader, former vice president Joe Biden, claims a sharp uptick in volunteer sign-ups as he has secured high-profile endorsements in the state. After a year of campaigning, and with less than a month to go before the first and therefore most important single contest in the Democratic nomination fight, few if any are confident of the outcome. At least four candidates are seen as having a shot to win Iowa, or, alternatively, to suffer a crippling result

The media insists that Jorge Bergoglio is the pope of the common man even as he turns his nose up at populist movements, hobnobs with celebrities, plots with UN elitists, and slaps the hand of a ropeline enthusiast. The last controversy — a sour Francis was captured on video hitting the hand of a woman who grabbed his hand and then barking at her — was unseemly enough to generate a papal apology the next day. The pope’s mask of benignity has fallen before. For my money, his cruelest and most telling encounter was with an innocent altar boy who held his hands together piously. Right now, in the New York region, the problem is overwhelmingly black New Yorkers attacking Jews. Over the eight-day Chanukah holiday last week, the attacks mounted, including nine attacks in the New York City area since December 10. The most recent case was a machete-wielding man who attacked five people at a holiday celebration Saturday night. Other examples just in the last week: Tuesday, a 56-year-old man was attacked by four men who struck him in the back of the head with a closed fist.

Nancy Pelosi fancies herself a foreign policy expert who not only must be consulted by the president’s foreign policy team, but who can set or manipulate American foreign policy. Recall her foray into Middle East policy a decade ago, when she defied the Bush State Department, met with Bashar al-Assad in Syria, and declared him the key to bringing peace to the Middle East. Here is what Shadow Secretary Pelosi said about the killing Gen. Soleimani: American leaders’ highest priority is to protect American lives and interests. But we cannot put the lives of American servicemembers, diplomats and others further at risk

Iranian Revolutionary Guard Commander Qasem Soleimani wasn't the only major-league terrorist killed in the drone strike ordered by Donald Trump. Also killed was Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, a top Iraqi paramilitary leader whose long, bloody career includes attacks on American and other Western embassies, as well as being a founder of Kata'ib Hezbollah, a group responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American soldiers in Iraq. In 2009, the U.S. sanctioned both al-Muhandis and Kata'ib Hezbollah as terrorist entities. In some ways, killing al-Muhandis was more significant than the death of Soleimani. He's been an active terrorist against the U.S. since the occupation of Iraq

We have 2020 backwards: Not Trump, but his opponent, will be more determinant. In part, this is true because President Trump leaves few undecided: He has already had his impact. Therefore, 2020’s more influential variable will be the Democrat, who will be more divergent from normal challengers than Trump will be from a normal incumbent. Elected incumbents are usually the story in their reelection and usually it is a good one for them. When the economy is good, so is their outcome: 11-3 since 1912, with the losses all coming when there has been negative GDP growth within a year of the election.

The immediate chain of events that led to the unprecedented US airstrike that killed top Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani began in late December, when a missile attack on an Iraqi military base in Kirkuk killed an American contractor. The US — which blamed that attack on Kataib Hezbollah, an Iraqi militia closely associated with Iran — responded with airstrikes in Iraq and Syria that killed 25 people. In reaction, pro-Iranian militia members and others stormed the US Embassy compound in Baghdad. The US has closely followed Soleimani’s movements over the last few months, but a US official told The Washington Post that discussion of the strike began after the contractor’s death.

When President Donald Trump gave the order to kill Iran's Quds Force leader Qasem Soleimani, he not only made an arguably proportionate response to the invasion of the U.S. Embassy this week but he also reversed a policy of the Obama administration. According to a report from 2018, Israel was "on the verge" of assassinating Soleimani in 2015, but Obama's officials foiled the plan. In fact, they reached out to Iran with news of Israel's plans. The Trump administration, on the other hand, gave Israel a green light to assassinate Soleimani, according to a January 1, 2018 report from the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida. The paper quoted a source in Jerusalem

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is calling on the Trump administration to immediately brief lawmakers on the U.S. airstrike that killed a top Iranian commander in Iraq and what the White House plans to do next. The strike in Iraq was directed by President Donald Trump and killed Qassem Soleimani, the commander of Iran's secretive Quds Force, the Department of Defense announced Thursday night. The move, which is likely to provoke retaliation from Iran, comes amid heightened tensions between the Trump administration and Tehran over rocket attacks aimed at coalition forces in Iraq. U.S. officials have said those attacks were likely carried out by Iranian-backed militias with links to the Quds Force.

The U.S. killing of Qassim Soleimani In Baghdad on Thursday ends an enduring threat. At least in the short term, however, it will unleash Iranian retaliation. From an explosive campaign that killed hundreds of U.S. soldiers in Iraq, to supporting Bashar Assad's regime with legions of Shiite fighters and IRGC operatives, to conducting a campaign of bombings and assassinations and intimidation across the world, Soleimani was a master of his very dark arts. For decades, land-use regulation across the U.S. has emphasized single-family houses on large lots. This approach has priced many people out of the quintessential American dream: home ownership. It also has promoted suburban sprawl — a pattern of low-density, car-dependent development that has dominated growth at the edges of urban areas since the end of World War II. Now, however, Americans may be starting to question the desirability of a private house. In the past year, the Minneapolis City Council and the state of Oregon have voted to allow duplexes and other types of multi-unit housing in neighborhoods where currently only single-family homes currently are allowed.
