Chuck Todd’s “Meet the Press Daily” could be sidelined at MSNBC as part of a dramatic anchor reshuffling at the cable network to promote rising star Nicolle Wallace. While the “MTP” flagship, also under NBC political director Todd, remains the No. 1 rated Sunday political show, with over 3 million viewers, his weekday 5 p.m. spinoff show has seen a dip in the all-important 25-to-54 age demographic. It airs between more popular, opinionated shows: Wallace’s “Deadline: White House,” which peaked with 2 million viewers in 2019, and “The Beat With Ari Melber.”TV insiders say NBC News boss Andy Lack

Nothing caused TV’s big three networks to haul out the word “outrage” more in stories last year than President Trump and the GOP, according to a new study.ABC, CBS, and NBC used the word 229 times, and it was directed at the president and his team over 22% of the time, said a Media Research Center study.“But don't think the term was employed even-handedly. President Trump and his fellow Republicans received the lion’s share of the blame in this category: 51 instances, or 80% of all political outrage, while Democrats accounted for less than one-tenth of that (just five stories, or 8%).

How’s this for quitting your job: Abandon every aspect you hate, while continuing to reap all the benefits you love. This, in effect, is what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have done. In a statement loaded with confusing double-speak, the couple wrote, in part, “We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the royal family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.” None other than Queen Elizabeth is confused. According to BBC royal correspondent Jonny Dymond, the statement blindsided the entire royal family, and they don’t know what this means either.
