Navy Ens. Hunter Biden received a fitness report after his first two weeks as a public affairs officer, his personnel file shows. Mr. Biden, who received an age waiver and was sworn in by his dad, Vice President Joseph R. Biden, at the White House, underwent a performance review six months later, according to his Fitness Report and Counseling Record.(Snip) His file shows the first fitness report was done at the time of a pending drug test. The second one, in November, came after the Navy told him he tested positive for cocaine. After nine months as a commissioned naval officer,

Comments:

Nine whole months behind a desk, than washed out for cocaine use. A naval career to rival that of distinguished Vietnam War Hero John F. Kerry!

Cripes, his dad pulls strings for him to get a nice job with his own employer (the US taxpayer) and the kid still screws it up. Sounds like Daddy found him a couple jobs with other folks, though.

The media remains completely uninterested in how a drug addict and Lothario with no expertise and no accomplishments in life can land a multi-million dollar job.

The reason for his whole Naval sojourn is right in the first sentence - the Bidens wanted the photo op of Gropey Joe swearing in his son at the White House. It's all about the optics, folks, and Hunter couldn't even get that right, so Grandpa LegHair had to get him some other gigs, OCONUS, as they say. And the pay was so much better than the Navy! Win-win for PedoJoe and Li'l Crackpipe!

A disgrace as a Naval Officer and a disgrace as a husband and father. However with this said he is a hero in the democrats eyes. One good thing is we won’t have the problem of Admiral Biden becoming The Chief of Naval Operations.

#2, because the media sees this sort of thing all around the country and world with the rich and powerful. #4, and it seems his father, Joe, didn't wonder how he was able to afford a multi-million dollar home in the Hollywood Hills either.

Hunter Biden is a real-life version of Adam Sandler's character Billy Madison. He consistently does insanely idiotic things, like knocking up his dead brother's wife. And his father Joe often says things that don't even approach what would be considered a rational thought, like how he wants to take all our guns and how he likes kids touching his hairy legs. Indeed, we are ALL dumber at listening to whatever pours out of Joe's mouth, including his defense of his coke-snorting brain dead son. May God Have Mercy On Our Souls.

An enlisted man or woman who fails a drug test is given a general discharge under honorable conditions. I would expect the same for an officer, but it may be somewhat different. What bothers me is that Old Jo and his adulterous wife didn't stop Robert (his real name, not Hunter) from joining the Navy. But then, Old Jo was a world class draft evader.

Re #14 - you don't need to attend and graduate from the USNA in order to receive a commission. Hunter already had the degree or degrees (law school?) to satisfy the educational requirements to be commissioned in the Naval Reserves. BTW - the other source for new officers is ROTC.

For Republicans, the 2010s end with the party seemingly in a better situation than it was when the decade started. The GOP has control of the White House and the Senate. Ten years ago, the Democrats held the White House and both houses of Congress. But that scorecard doesn't tell the whole story. Thanks to five major blunders over the last decade, the Republican Party is actually weaker than it was on Jan.1, 2010. To understand why, you have to document each key mistake in order:
