The IRS placed a tax lien on Hunter Biden seeking $112,805 in unpaid taxes from 2015, according to records the Daily Caller News Foundation obtained. The federal agency issued the previously unreported lien in November 2018 and it seeks unpaid taxes for a year in which Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, served on the boards of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings and the Chinese private equity firm BHR Partners. “We have made a demand for payment of this liability, but it remains unpaid,” the IRS stated in the lien notice, which it filed with the Washington, D.C., Recorder of Deeds.

This is great, not only is he a deadbeat dad on child support, he also owes the government a huge amount on unpaid taxes. If you are going to place a lien on him for unpaid taxes, perhaps you could do the same to Al Sharpton on all the millions of back taxes he owes.

Further proof that there are two sets of laws. You or I would be living in a tent under a bridge with that kind of a tax liability. Put the bum in jail and his daddy with him.

Hunter needs to get under the tutelage of Revrum Al Sharptongue to find out how to beat this rap, or kick that "can" down the road. It usually means running for political office, which is always successful in getting the "dogs" called off when you run as a Demonrat.

Maybe Democrats have decided that, in the era of President Trump, honesty is no longer required. Or maybe Elizabeth Warren is just too insecure to tell the truth about her own life. Whatever the reason, the Massachusetts senator has built her campaign on a foundation of exaggerations and misrepresentations. It's common knowledge by now that Warren, one of the top four 2020 Democratic presidential contenders, identified as a Native American, despite being somewhere between 0.1% and 3% Native American and having zero experience in tribal life. If only her misrepresentations began and ended there. Ask her constituents in Massachusetts and they may remind you that the senator also fibbed when she promised

The Senate Republican playbook should be put House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on mute and get this trial started. Pelosi and the Democrats have no say in the matter. They don’t. And by withholding the articles of impeachment against President Trump because they know it faces certain death in the Republican Senate creates a new constitutional crisis of its own. This isn’t about a fair trial. As Wall Street Journal columnist Kimberley Strassel noted, a trial would only further degrade their position in the polls on this impeachment push. It was never popular from the start, and now it’s underwater nationally. It’s especially not popular

If you’re depressed by the state of the world, let me toss out an idea: In the long arc of human history, 2019 has been the best year ever. The bad things that you fret about are true. But it’s also true that since modern humans emerged about 200,000 years ago, 2019 was probably the year in which children were least likely to die, adults were least likely to be illiterate and people were least likely to suffer excruciating and disfiguring diseases. Every single day in recent years, another 325,000 people got their first access to electricity. Each day, more than 200,000 got piped water for the first time.

Taxpayers in California and New York shoulder some of the heaviest tax burdens in the nation, and now new data show the two have something else in common: Their growth rates have slowed. It’s probably no coincidence. According to the California Department of Finance, during the year that ended June 30, more people left the Golden State than moved in — the first time that’s happened since 2010. Its net population grew by 141,300, to 39.96 million. That’s a increase of just 0.35 percent, down from 0.57 percent growth over the prior 12 months. Together, the two years mark California’s smallest growth in more than a century.

The brazen crimes are on the rise and CBS13 has learned, in most cases, the crooks get away from authorities. After searching police reports and arrest records, CBS13 found that while the rate of these grab and dash crimes is on the rise, the rate of arrest is down. "Well, great parallels," said Ronstadt. "There were a lot of chances. Hitler rose to power; there were a lot of chances to stop him, and they didn't speak out. And the industrial complex thought they could control him once they got him in office. And of course, he was not controllable."

Around eighty-four counties and cities throughout the Commonwealth have pledged to ignore and resist these measures. Some Virginia elected officials have called for the National Guard to carry out such confiscation, which would imply the arrest and disarmament of local officials who get in the way. Governor Northam has stopped short of adopting such an idea, but he will not rule it out. Additional stories indicate that the government will disable internet and telephone access to affected areas during the crackdown.
