Have the GOP Lights Gone Out in Georgia?

Original Article

As Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., and ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, valiantly defends President Trump against the deep state coup trying to unseat this duly elected President of the United States, the mind ponders the now lost possibility of a Sen. Collins from Georgia defending President Trump and being an impeachment juror in any Senate trial. Instead we are getting a big business donor whom we are assured has all the boxes checked and an “R” next to their name.

President Trump recently met with both Gov Kemp and Ms.Loeffler. Those of us who backed Kemp will certainly be watching to see how his preferred replacement for Sen Isaacson performs going forward.

If this woman causes any trouble with judicial nominees or in any way turns into a Collins or Murkowski, Kemp is finished in Georgia.

Kemp never was a Trump supporter. Loeffler is a BIg Romney supporter. My guess is she is another fake republican like Kemp.

This President endorsed Mitt Romney in '18...what's the beef? You want the President to tell your state's Republican governor what to do? Get real. All politics is local, and Georgia has a creeping blueness problem.

He could have made TWO conservative appointments - one for Collins and one to replace Collins.

Why Is the Gay Presidential Candidate Silent about Iran Hanging Gays? 5 replies

Mayor Pete, as he likes to be called, who has led the cry that Iran's shooting down of a Ukrainian airliner using a Russian missile is somehow the fault of an American president, Donald J. Trump, is among those who say it was "collateral damage" resulting from Trump trashing the flawed and unworkable Iran nuclear deal and his zapping of terrorist Quds Force commander Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

Susan Rice was a little less ubiquitous this time around than during her infamous five-talk-show world tour repeating the lie that the Benghazi terrorist attack was the fault of an inflammatory video and not due to the criminal negligence of President Barack Hussein Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. But there she was again on MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Comedy Hour” defending her former boss, this time against charges that President Trump cleaned up more of Obama’s Iran mess by terminating the life and reign of terror of Iranian Gen. and Quds Force Commander Qassem Soleimani:

One could conceivably hold House Speaker Nancy Pelosi responsible for the death-by-drone of Qassem Soleimani for she rushed impeachment of President Trump on the grounds we could or let him occupy the White House for even one more day lest our erratic commander-in-chief do something irrational.

Today the character of Jeff Flake, the former resident Hamlet of the Senate, is being played by GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski, who originally inherited her Senate seat from her daddy, Frank Murkowski. Murkowski the daughter says she is “disturbed” by Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s statements that he will be working closely with and taking his cues from President Trump in any impeachment trial in the Senate.

residing judge Rosemary Collyer, having returned from her vacation on Mars and just in time for her retirement, has demanded of the FBI revised procedures to ensure that the multiple frauds committed upon the court, including inclusion of fraudulent material, omission of exculpatory information, and the deliberate alteration of documents to mislead the court. It was farcical to hear her, in the face of multiple felonies in a Deep State plot bordering on sedition, suggest that revised procedures for the handling and submitting of FISA applications is the answer to our chief law enforcement agency's attempt to overthrow a sitting president of the United States.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was right to so eloquently smack down cryin’ Chuck Schumer’s request for a “Schumer do-over” of the House impeachment process with unheard-from witnesses. If, as House Democrats insist, the “evidence” is “uncontested,” why does Schumer seek new evidence and want to hear new witnesses, providing a list of White House advisers but not a list that includes the alleged Ukraine whistleblower?

Before the first FISA application was signed and submitted mired by the pompous, self-serving serial liar James Comey, who signed three of them, Carter Page wrote Comey a letter telling him he was a government asset working with the CIA and the FBI. If that letter had been presented to the FISA court by Comey, as it should have been, the FISA court never would have approved the Obama administration surveillance of Carter Page and Team Trump.

When the Dear Leader of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep, Jerry Nadler, said that this was too important a matter to trust to the voters in the next election, he and his ilk gave us a frightening preview of the Gulag into which they would put We the People, should they gain full control of the government.  They wrap themselves up in the Constitution but conveniently forget the first three words. They forget that the Constitution establishes three branches of government, not two. But they have no time for the courts to rule on disputed documents and privileged conversations. They call the President a dictator, yet can’t wait for the next election.

Like disgraced former FBI director James Comey before him exonerating Hillary Clinton for her crimes, DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz presents us with a documented list of crimes, fraud, and deception in the FISA warrant application process by the FBI but then says never mind — these are bureaucratic mistakes made without bias and without intent. There still was sufficient predicate, says he, for starting an investigation and surveillance of Team Trump, even as Horowitz admits that the first FISA warrant, the one authorizing surveilling Carter Page, was riddled with errors and omissions of key exculpatory evidence.

Hollywood celebrity is tough to shuck, at least for Meghan Markle, last seen in a starring role as Duchess of Sussex. Instead of marveling at her fairy tale ending with her marriage to Prince Harry in the U.K., she's made it clear she wants to go back to the Hollywood celebrity circuit, that "b" list group that makes loud leftwing noises to get attention -- and movie roles. Harry can come along for the ride if he wants, but he's probably going to get chewed up and spat out in the long run. She'll dump him when he gets inconvenient. It's pretty clear by the latest stunt she pulled

Sen. Cory Booker announced Monday that he will end his campaign after failing to qualify for the Democratic debate planned for Tuesday in Iowa. "It was a difficult decision to make, but I got in this race to win, and I've always said I wouldn't continue if there was no longer a path to victory," Booker said in an email to supporters Monday. The New Jersey Democrat's announcement came a day before six presidential candidates will participate in the CNN/Des Moines Register's debate in Des Moines, Iowa. He did not qualify for the event. It also came as the Senate gears up for the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.

Prince Harry and Princess Meghan astounded the world — and the Royal family, apparently — when they announced they were giving up on their senior royal duties and decamping to Canada. In fact, Meghan has gone already — appearing to leave Harry to pick up the pieces at home. And it’s a shame, because the UK really did seem ready to embrace its new American princess when the pair tied the knot in a fairytale wedding at Windsor in 2018. Furthermore, the British people really do support the monarchy and do tend to cut them a lot of slack. So what could possibly have gone wrong? –All those flights–

It seems as though every day brings us something new out of Virginia relating to their now Democrat-led legislators and gun laws. What’s the latest? State Delegate Dan Helmer filed a bill this past Wednesday that would allow the Attorney General, Mark Herring, the ability to determine which states’ concealed carry permits Virginia would continue to recognize, and potentially making it almost impossible for people to protect themselves if they do not live in Virginia. Not that they plan to let Virginians protect themselves either. It appears that this would include members of the military that are stationed at one of the many Virginia bases.

Western Journal reported: If your home isn’t carbon neutral, Elizabeth Warren might not let you build it. And if that means no new homes get built, she’s OK with that. One could perhaps have excused them their earlier indiscretions of November 2016. He was, after all, an unknown quantity, an outsider of questionable conservative pedigree. Indeed, Donald Trump had been a fairly typical New York liberal Democrat for much of his life. And he had led a less than stellar moral life. And so the pile-on at the time by National Review and others could perhaps have been forgiven, although not really, when one considered the alternative. The number one story in the news in Great Britain (and a major story around the world) is the apparent abandonment of the Royal Family by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, better known as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The story obviously has a strong personal element, but it also strikes me as emblematic of our time. The British monarchy is not just ancient, but profoundly old-fashioned. It is founded on a concept of duty, exemplified by Queen Elizabeth II, that is utterly at odds with the 21st century. Being a Royal is a great job, most would say, but it inherently involves sacrifice.

The Democratic Party loves to tout their diversity. They claim to be the champion of women, Hispanics, African Americans, the LGBTQ community, the youth and everyone in between. But the most ironic thing about the Democrats? The majority of those who are leading the pack for the party's nomination are old, white, rich men, which is antithetical to what they stand for. Tuesday night's debate will feature billionaire Tom Steyer, former Vice President Joe Biden, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
