will win the Democratic nomination in 2020

Fox Business host Stuart Varney revealed his 2020 predictions as the country gears up for a heated election year.
"I think this is a split party, I think Bloomberg is the nominee," Varney said Tuesday about the Democrats, "and I think Trump wins big time in November." "Think about what's happening to the Democrat party," said Varney. "You've got two candidates for the presidency who are socialists and along comes this man who is ... the 11th richest person in the world ... so you've got the socialists, going up against the billionaires. That is a totally divided party."

I wonder how much of Bloomberg inc. Michael will be willing to give up to avoid the emoluments clause. Will leaders be able to even buy his magazines?

The only way Doomberg might win the Rat nomination is if the they find themselves in a brokered convention and they settle upon him as a compromise candidate. He certainly won't win the primaries outright.

A true Blooming idiot. Money can't buy what you want. All the money in the world can't cure a fatal disease, get people to love you and ask Hillary about all the money she spent and still LOST. Was it Beto who sank a fortune running and got nowhere.

I can't see any genuine conservative voting for Bloomberg after his reversal on Stop and Frisk (his policy which successfully made NY a much safer city), obviously, his principles are lacking or questionable at best. Then there are all the envy driven collectivists in the Democrat Party who hate rich people (although all the Democrat political leaders are millionaires, most making their money since coming to Washington). Then there are the vile anti-Semites in the Left, who increasingly have no reservations about voicing their bigotry. Then there is the un-likability of Bloomberg, no on would accuse him of being a good guy (unlike Donald Trump who so many people genuinely like and consider to be a good guy, me too). i am afraid of a Bloomberg candidacy, simply because he can afford to drench the entire nation with (disingenuous) political ads. Having been subjected to the blatant disinformation in Tom Steyer's ads, as well as decades of disinformation in ads paid for by the teachers' unions, I'm afraid of such ads, and worried that they can have an effect on voters (and not a good one). Hillary's ads were terrible, but I didn't feel very effective.

We watch Varney - my husband likes the market news - but his feel for national politics is sketchy. Most political news is at least a day old; often more. I don’t see it, but with that busload of midgets, perhaps a billionaire midget would have a chance.

I would like to see Bloomberg as the candidate.
I think there would be less enthusiasm for Democrats yo show up on election say, and I think that there would be a lot more election fraud if one of the socialists was in the general election..
One thing for sure,Bloomberg has the gun hater vote
But Trump will beat him like a drum. And Bloomberg is terrible at debating

"but that they would stand a chance if they "appeal to the emotional side of things."
That's all democommies ever do. The can't appeal to the logical side of things. I think people are tired of the leftist's emotions.

Give Varney credit for a bold prediction, against all conventional wisdom. If he's right, he will be hailed as a genius. If he's wrong, he will be forgotten--one of a million bad predictions.

This thought has been popping up more and more lately. Maybe like 1972 with McGovern, the democrats knew the loss was going to be so humiliating that the nominee should be someone who has absolutely no chance now or later. That way a viable candidate for some other election wont be destroyed.

Wouldn't rule it out.
The Democrats have three (count them, THREE) billionaires running for President. They have the money to stay around for the entire election cycle, and will outlast most of the field. In my opinion, one of them will reach the top tier of candidates simply through attrition. Kamela Harris dropped out just today, and there will be more.
Will Biden, Buttigieg, Warren, and Sanders make it all the way through the election cycle? Highly doubtful.
Bloomberg is already taking credit for rebuilding NYC after 9/11. THAT IS A LIE! He is taking credit for what Rudy Giuliani did. He claims he is fighting Climate Change. Will he be known as the savior of the planet? Nope. He will be known as the banner of the Big Gulp.
Steyer likes to remind everybody of how rich he is. He made his money by running a hedge fund, and then selling off his interest. Know who else ran a hedge fund? Jeffrey Epstein.
That leaves Andrew Yang, who is doing the best in the polls with regard to the billionaire candidates. He even makes the debate stage. He also proposes a value-added tax and would legalize Heroin.
None of these guys are Donald Trump. Trump managed to come across as an honest human being that cares about the country and its people. Not sure any of these three can do that. Wait and see if any of them gain traction.

There are two platforms running under the dem umbrella; the Socialists and the dem establishment. Biden was the establishment candidate but he is simply awful. The dem establishment KNOWS the crazy Socialists will not win the general election. Bloomberg is their attempt to rescue themselves from Biden and get back into the race. The problem is, Bloomberg comes with his own set of flaws. Further, the Socialists are NOT going to stand down. BO riled them up during his presidency and the dem party riled them up as useful idiots to go after Trump. The dems can no longer "manage" the Socialist however, the Socialists make a good mob but a poor candidate for the general election.
I suspect the dem strategy is to keep a viable candidate in the race and pray that something goes really, really badly for Trump. That's very unlikely. Instead the insane gyrations the dems are going through are losing them ground every week. It will get worse for them when the impeachment follies go to the Senate. However, there are no off ramps for the dems at this point. They are committed to being committed. The loony bin is calling.

If old Joseph Biden augers down to earth, little Michael Bloomberg could get Barack Obama’s endorsement after he selects Obama’s candidate, Deval Patrick as his running mate. With President Trump polling to capture about one third of the Black folks votes, you can bet that the leftist and liberal Democrats are starting to panic on that front, and recognize that they must have a Black politician on their ticket, even as “second fiddle” as they attempt to capture as much of the low information Black vote as possible.

The dems, if any of them have more than 2 live brain cells, are eventually going to catch on to the fact that most of their actions are only making the hole deeper. Their ID politics are crashing into each other . Case in point, the trannies are throwing a fit claiming the homosexuals are discriminating against them, The dem blacks, as a voting block are 'woke' to the racism of the dems and they can see the dem party shifting some of what was considered the blacks' power and support and giving it to the homosexuals and the "Latinos/Latinas/Latinx/Hispanics". The Socialists/ antifascist/ (who are actually the facists)/ not be reasonable ( of course) and they will not take no for an answer (it could get bloody). The list is long on all the sub-categories and ever growing. What can the dems do?

Put me down as skeptical. While some Democrats support Israel, many do not. The Party is a hotbed of anti-Jewish, anti-Israel sentiment. I find it hard to believe that it will nominate a Jewish candidate. It's true that Bernie has a fair amount of traction, but he's Jewish in name only. Bloomberg belongs to a temple, paid for renovations of his childhood synagogue, shows up for the High Holidays, and has given large amounts of money to Israeli causes. I will be shocked if he can snag the nomination of his Israel-hating peers. That he used to be a Republican is probably not helpful either.
