A friend informs me of a young lady from his hometown and home church. Valedictorian of her classical Christian high school, she was a solid evangelical raised in an evangelical home, an evangelical church, and by evangelical parents. “Guess what she did for break?,” my friend asks me. “She headed to Iowa to volunteer for Pete Buttigieg’s presidential campaign.” Why anyone would think that Pete Buttigieg is qualified to be president is a mystery. An even greater mystery would be why a conservative evangelical girl would spend her college break knocking on doors for a cultural radical to be president of the United States. Actually, it’s no mystery.

Let's see how this turns out. He may face more scrutiny as he rises in the polling. He has no accomplishments as mayor. I would like to hear him answer some foreign policy questions at the next debate. I know the conservative Democrats in my area would never vote for a gay president with a male partner.

It seems to be a fad at some universities that it is some kind of "virtue" to support LGBT? people. Personally, I look at their performance on the job, As Mayor, Buttigieg's performance has been lackluster to poor. The only thing going for him is he is a very smooth talker. We have too many smooth talking under performers in Washington, D.C. already.

I fully believe that the writer is correct. These are the same students who can’t identify Mike Pence from a photograph. I’m sick of identity politics in any form. Victimhood is a poison that will only lead to a life of resentment and group violence. Remember how we were going to be unified and “healed” after we elected the first black president? For those who choose to be aggrieved will never be about unity. It will be about “getting even.” To the rest of my fellow Americans who love their country, I bid thee a Happy Thanksgiving.

The pink feathers are a force with which to be reckoned. The homo lobby has wriggled its way into the personnel departments of almost every corporation in the nation. And guess who gets their nod for hire. With money and only 1.5% of the population they have literally forced the American Psychiatric association to remove homosexuality from the list of illnesses. They have bamboozled the Supreme Court of the United States to rule that legal marriage does not presuppose gender (whatever gender is today). No one can use the Q word on Lucianne. No one can say they are mentally ill on Facebook. Government run schools and libraries are forced to acknowledge them as normal. We (you and I) need to stand up and tolerate this nonsense no more. It is about more than universities. It is about you and me and our children.

Mayor Pete has no business being a president, he simply isn't qualified. The universities are not the only actors in converting soles to leftist politics, lower grades and high schools are doing a very good job of inculcating socialism. Taking over the schools is at the top of the Saul Alinsky Agenda for converting a nation to socialism or communism.

The NYT gives space to a lily-white George Washington University History Professor, David J. Silverman, who, surprise, thinks that Thanksgiving is a tragedy of colonialism. He states that the “Native American past and present tend to make white people uncomfortable because they turn patriotic histories and heroes inside out and loosen claims on morality, authority and justice. ” According to this donkey’s ass, white people were evil, while red people were pristine, good, and with a culture that was “every bit as ancient and rich as in Europe.” Thanks for the Howard Zinn version of history, professor.

For many on the left, the Trump impeachment has been as much and as passionate the dream of three years as was the Zionist Dream of 2,000 Years (“Hatikvah”) for Jews to return as a free people back to the Biblical land from which the Romans had banished Jewish life. The Washington Post dreamed of impeachment immediately — from Day One on January 20, 2017. Rep. Al Green never stopped pushing for it. The attorney representing the so-called “whistleblower,” who in reality has blown no whistle on anything, pronounced the start of the “coup” right away. The problem for the Democrats now is that there is a time and place

Call it the Back-up Plan. For the past couple of years, the potential for an economic downturn has kept jittery Democrats from getting too nervous about the 2020 presidential election. Even if Robert Mueller and his Russia investigation didn't get President Trump — and now the Ukraine impeachment investigation — then the American economy surely would. There was no way four years of Trump's trade wars and general incompetence wouldn't result in a nasty recession and a one-term Trump presidency, right? Now it's looking more and more like the back-up plan might need a back-up plan. Wall Street economists and forecasting models don't see more than a one-in-three chance

The retail holiday saw protests in a long list of countries -- including France, Germany, the United States -- with some activists entering stores and others holding mock funerals. Near Paris, climate demonstrators blocked a shopping mall and gathered in from of Amazon’s headquarters to protest over-production they say is killing the planet. To many activists, Black Friday is the epitome of this shift, a purely commercial event designed to boost U.S. retailers ahead of the Christmas holidays, the symbol of capitalism run amok.

This Thanksgiving, Americans have a great deal to be thankful for, but climate alarmists would ruin much of it. Climate alarmists warn that this progress is unsustainable if not somehow evil, but there are many reasons to celebrate it. The Heartland Institute released videos celebrating "the ten facts climate alarmists don't want you to be grateful for."

Contrary to popular belief, the former White House counsel has been ordered to show up, not to testify — and even that is being appealed. You might assume that the girth of the nearly 120-page opinion Judge Ketjani Brown Jackson issued Monday means that an issue of great consequence to the House impeachment inquiry has been decided. But you’d be wrong. And you’d be further misled if you put much stock in the headlines breathlessly announcing that the federal district court in Washington, D.C., has ordered that former White House counsel Don McGahn “must testify to Congress.”

Sixteen years later, Hillary Clinton tallied almost 3 million more votes than Donald Trump but lost decisively in the Electoral College, 306–232.
