One poll could be an outlier, but when two resected polls find the same outcome, it’s time to realize that, most likely, something serious is going on.
Rasmussen, whose own daily tracking poll revealed that 34% of black likely voters support President Trump, was initially cautious about interpreting that result, as this response to a tweet by Dineen Borelli shows:
So when Mrs. @deneenborelli - a friend & an engaged supporter of @realDonaldTrump today presents a snapshot of our privacy-focused daily likely voter results, please remember, not all survey samples & collection techniques are equal or comparable. (Remember Nov 9th 2016?)

And the 34% figure is likely to grow substantially between now and November.

Pretty obvious now why the Dems need open borders and sanctuary cities - they need replacement voters.

The only thing the democrat party has done for black is degrading them by putting them on generational poverty with welfare programs.

This is a win-win for black Americans, and for the country as a whole (as Owens & Co. are well aware).
If African Americans are no longer unalterably predictable, BOTH parties have to step up their game, as the expression goes. The GOP has made these inroads, courtesy of the President, by getting concrete, quantifiable results, and they must not yield to any temptations to pander and subsidize failure.

If Trump runs on an aggressive pro-school choice agenda, he will win many more. Take it to the government-union-education-monopoly. He can even throw in a bit of class warfare - the rich democrats send their kids to nice schools, why should you not have options.

Good to hear. There are jobs out there - lots of them. I have heard from employers who are frustrated at the lack of applications for jobs they are offering. A good worker, no matter what race should be able to find a job and work his way up. Thanks President Trump.

These polls only show those blacks willing to respond honestly. I believe like other posters the % will go higher when they vote in privacy! The Democrats have put illegals above blacks and that is finally being discussed in the black community. All President Trump promised the black community he as fulfilled more jobs and he signed the criminal justice reform act. If President Trump gets 30-40% of the black vote it will be difficult for the Democrats to overcome even with their massive voter fraud!

When push comes to shove, I don't think blacks will abandon the 'Rat Party. The brain washing is is too ingrained. But, it should be a lot higher than the 8 to 10 percent that other Republicans have been garnering. It is Hispanics and Asians (who are more traditional and have a lot to lose) where PDT will score.

This might save America for many elections yet to come. But it is one thing to educate an entire group of Americans that they can choose to reject slavery - it is altogether different to win their loyalty.

Blacks have had three years to compare Trump to Obama. One promises and delivers and makes American lives better, the other gave long-winded speeches full of I, I, I, Me, Me, Me, Me, Me, and did nothing for anybody but himself. Honest polling results should continue leaning toward the Trump presidency.

PDT needs to remind black Americans that one of the first thing their messiah did upon entering the WH was eliminate school choice in the District of Columbia, which has some of the nation’s worst schools, while at the same time enrolling his daughters in a $40,000 per year la-de-da private school.

What the Republicans need to do is groom a couple of outstanding Black leaders. I saw Daniel Cameron at a Trump rally recently. He won an AG race in Kentucky. Talk about the "wow" factor. He's handsome, articulate with a great voice and smart. Even Trump called him a star. He's someone to watch and should run for senate after McConnell retires.
After witnessing Elise Stefanik last week, Republicans need to promote more women to run for office. Wouldn't it be great to have the first woman Potus be not only a Republican, but also black. How old is Candace?

I have sold to the construction industry for almost 40 years.. what I have noticed is in the past couple of years there has been a tremendous influx of money into social service organizations created by black churches. Think drug treatment facilities etc. These buildings are generally being paid for by the federal government. I’ve also noticed that black Facebook friends that are church people have toned down anti trump rhetoric to the point it doesn’t exist.

Donald Trump does not pander for votes or donations. DONALD TRUMP GOVERNS!
He is bringing business and jobs back to the United States. That is what a President is suppose to do. He is defending the country from its enemies. That is also what a President is suppose to do. He treats people the way they are suppose to be treated. Play straight with Trump, and he will play straight with you. Screw with Trump, and he will come down on you like a ton of bricks. That should be expected.
Business is up. Employment is up. Revenue is up. There are more tax dollars to pay for everything. Unemployment is at an all-time low. What more can a person ask for?
Blacks are recognizing this. Most Americans are recognizing this
His critics are screaming bloody murder. Under close scrutiny, one finds his critics aren't playing honestly. They have ulterior motives, and cannot be trusted. Its actually easy to see. People are rejecting them.

I sure hope this is true. I really hope they are coming back home to the party that was always truly on their side. The DemonRats just used and manipulated them with lies, a massive propaganda campaign and by throwing them crumbs. LBJ conned a lot of people and set them back with his socialist policies that broke up their once strong nuclear families to create a dependent class to government and the Demonrat party. Even Daniel Moynihan pointed out that the programs were likely hurting the black community, but the Democrats shut him up.

During the election run-up when President Trump really starts talking to Black communities about his success in putting everyone who wants a job into a job regardless to race or ethnicity, the growing majority percentage of Black people who want to work and make a better life for themselves and their families are bound to vote for President Trump based upon his job performance, while casting aside leftist and liberal Democrat created and unproven bogus personality and race baiting issues designed to be adverse to Trump for political purposes.

Looks like the Democratic Plantation for blacks is ending. They had better start importing more illegals to fill the gap. Democrats’ American citizenship is expiring

The democrats have forever believed and relied on their ability to control both black voters and the fake news media.. They continue to totally control the press lemmings. But black voters have awakened to the truth that they have been used and abused by democrat politicians for a very long time. Like all other Americans, they will increasingly move away from these snakes and thieves and turn to a President who has already proven his commitment to their financial and life success.

Several thoughts, hopefully logical in sequence but perhaps jumbled:
1) The Selma generation are aging rapidly. The Dem/NAACP axis have milked the marches, speeches, etc. for close to 60 years. In many ways it's like Woodstock. The number of people who were there or lived contemporaneously is dwindling.
2) Technology is a marvel even if technology is a pain. Technology has been a particularly loud alarm clock for many blacks who once listened to media deliver the DNC plantation propaganda. Now they are asking each other why they ever believed it especially as bullets fly and stores are robbed in their areas.
3) In conjunction with the above, at some point a black generation or two is noticing that cradle-to-grave welfare is bare-bones sustenance living. A vote to eat is no vote at all and that was the DNC's take-it-or-leave-it deal. These people want a house, want a car, want to be able to sleep without stray bullets flying through the walls. Of course, they need to forswear their allegiances and that can be tough.

#4, we don't even need the whole 34%. If just a mere 10% of Black voters crossed over to the other side of the aisle, then the Demonrats would be guaranteed to lose the election before the night was even halfway over. Statistically, there would be absolutely nothing (legal) that they could do to make up for the shortfall.
