Trump impeachment based on
unreliable presumptions, rumor
and innuendo – Not facts

The House Intelligence Committee’s impeachment hearing Wednesday posed a conundrum. Better yet, let’s call it a riddle. When is a “quid pro quo” not a “quid pro quo?” The answer is … when it’s “presumed.” U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland testified that there was a “quid pro quo” between the U.S. and Ukraine, even though President Trump made it crystal clear to Sondland that there was no “quid pro quo.” So, how did the ambassador arrive at his opinion that a “quid pro quo” must somehow exist? It turns out that he assumed or “presumed” it. At one point, he called it a mere “guess.”

Does it matter at all? The leftists started talking impeachment before Trump was inaugurated and aren't going to stop just because they have no real evidence of anything other than bad manners on Trump's part. The thing is that if they don't impeach their base is going to go ballistic and take it out on them (something the GOP base rarely, if ever, does with the traitors they elect). If they impeach they might suffer losses but nothing like what they could suffer if they don't impeach. They have painted themselves into a corner.

This democrat clown show has been a complete waste of time and money. The American people don’t like it either. Democrats have wasted three years because they decided to throw one heck of a hissy fit because their candidate did not win. They have been so invested in the resistance that they have shown that they have nothing of value to offer to the American people. They have done nothing but show themselves to be like a toddler who when he does not get his way throws himself on the floor screaming and crying. After the Russia hoax fizzled, they could have changed course, but they just can’t. Now if the IG Report is the revelation that we all hope it is going to be, it may cripple the party for decades. We can only pray that justice is served and the Deep State is destroyed.

If the democrats are willing to sacrifice their dignity, trust and image (I know, not much there) after Donald Trump won one term, imagine what it's going to be like after the 2020 election. They will be jumping off more buildings than the people who lost their fortunes in the great stock market crash of 1929. Our big concerns will be protecting ourselves from their violent tantrums and dodging falling bodies. Hillary will have the big one right in the middle of her inevitable speech decrying Republican cheating.

This entire process is all for optics. But, once again, the dims have assumed that we the people are stupid, gullible, too busy to find the truth, and willing to be told what to think and when to think it. Americans are fed up with the DC garbage coming from the dims on this so-called inquiry. And over here in the People's Republic of Colorado, we are equally disgusted with the dim-controlled governorship and legislature. Everything little thing that can knock the state down another notch or two from its once-great stature as a natural resource-rich economic center and recreational mecca has been rammed through by a dim-controlled super majority already and more damage to jobs is yet to come.

Adam Schiff and the Democrats could care less about the weight of legitimate evidence to impeach President Trump, as their political agenda has been to impeach and remove President Trump from office since the day he was elected. In that respect those Democrats would impeach Trump for wearing the wrong colored socks in a heartbeat. To those partisan Democrats anytime President Trump uses his discretion on any matter that shakes up the career “Deep State” bureaucracy and the DC political “UniParty” by changing long standing US policies, with new policies designed to put the interests of the USA first, over the Democrat’s sometimes corrupt personal and political interests, or the “deep state” bureaucratic interests, that many times includes, as we have been seeing, favoring certain foreign countries by delivering huge amounts of US foreign aid to those countries, with some of those countries being very corrupt, where common sense will tell you that some of that foreign aid money ends up in the pockets of foreign dictators and even corrupt US actors. In the Democrats political minds, any such action by Trump is fodder for them to fraudulently claim that Trump is abusing the powers of the presidency, and among others, to use disgruntled bureaucrats to give bogus evidence that Trump should be impeached and removed from office. The Democrats and the entrenched bureaucracy don’t give a hoot that the American people elected Trump to do what he has been doing regarding foreign affairs. The US Constitution gives the elected President broad discretion to change or set US foreign policy. Career bureaucrats, in the diplomatic service or not, are there to carry out the foreign policies of the President and have no constitutional or statutorily change the foreign policies set by the President. So just because the Democrats don’t like the President’s foreign policies, or some career bureaucrats, including those down in the diplomatic weeds serving in foreign countries don’t like presidential changes or the manner that Trump is carrying out his foreign policies, are not legitimate grounds to impeach and remove a President from office, that is at least to this point in US history. The Democrats by spying on Trump since he was elected are setting a horrible political precedent for the future, that can only hurt US democracy.

Thank you to Kevin McCarthy who moved Conservatives such as Jim Jordan onto the House Intelligence Committee to cross-examine the so-called witnesses put up by Adam Schiff. The major problem that remains is that most people will not watch the hearings, but will tune in to the MSM for their version of what occurred each day. The MSM is totally in sync when it comes to talking points and buzzwords, and they are putting out whatever Schiff is laying down. The Radical Left knows this, and are using these hearings to try to brainwash adults the same way the indoctrinate young people in public schools and colleges.

It was just a matter of course that Sondland would presume quid pro quo despite President Trump's admonition that he wanted nothing but for the new Ukrainian president to do the right thing. His Deep State reality is that no one ever tells the truth, operating instead from a playbook filled with loaded double-meaning terms understood only by the initiate. Corruption, quid pro quo, personal advancement and wealth are the operational philosophies of Deep State foreign policy, wherein making assumptions is a basic survival skill. Notice how after Rep. Turner stated Sondland had no evidence or real testimony, the Ambassador responded huffily, "Other than my own presumption." Sondland still believes that his assumption is valid evidence. The fundamental mistake being made by the commie Deep State functionaries, both elected and bureaucrats, is the assumption Donald Trump operates the same way. They truly expected to find all manner of crimes and malfeasance, just as one would expect trees and streams in a forest. They have never encountered an honest man and their software is incompatible with the Trump operating system. The commies are giving us a mega-sized example of the old warning about the desire to "assume"; it makes an "ass" out of "u" and "me". MAGA - The truth will set us free.

#14, the dems don't love the Ukraine more than the USA. They simply shift their allegiances and "love" according to the issue of the day. During the Obama administration, Obie assured the Ukrainians that if they'd give up their weaponry, the USA would defend them if Russia attacked. Yet when Russia invaded the Crimea, and Ukraine pleaded for assistance in defending themselves, Obie declined, and send them blankets and MRE's. The dems thought nothing of Ukraine's needs until they found that maybe Trump might have held up some of the Ukraine aid for two weeks.

Sondland was the first one I watched, and really the only one you need. The entire kerfuffle traces back to him and his unsupported "presumptions," fabricated entirely in his head and that he spread around like a virus. The whole thing sounded like an excruciatingly detailed recounting of a game of telephone. Suzy made an assumption and told it to Mary as fact, Mary told Amy, Amy told Valerie and Becky, Valerie told Cindy and Lizzy, Becky told Eleanor and Patty, Eleanor told Mary and they compared their stories and together told an altered version to .... here we go ... THE WHISTLEBLOWER. And if you meticulously trace it all back, Sondland was Suzy. And we pay these guys?

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.
