During the impeachment hearing Tuesday, Texas Republican Rep. John Ratcliffe addressed the elephant in the room, or more appropriately, the elephant conspicuously not in the room. The Democrats are accusing President Trump of “bribery,” yet, as Ratcliffe highlights emphatically, after six weeks of witness interviews in the Democrat-led inquiry, not one witness has even so much as uttered the word “bribery” or “bribe” in reference to Trump’s actions regarding Ukraine.“At a press conference last Thursday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said that President Trump committed the impeachable offense of ‘bribery,’ evidenced in his July 25th call transcript with President Zelensky,”

Anyone paying attention to these hearings can see what a farce Democrats are conducting.
Both Nunes opening statement and Ratcliffe's questioning were powerful in pointing out the lack of facts and evidence to support any impeachable offenses.
I hope the American people let their representative know how to vote to end the impeachment charade.

Any time someone in a position to help you or hurt you asks you for a favor, you probably do them the favor. That is simply the way people and countries work with one another. Trump's timing was ham-handed, but it was not legally a "bribe." His problem is that he is no longer speaking for his own company. He is speaking for the nation. When speaking for the nation, one does not seek personal favors. He has not completely adjusted to the difference and does not appreciate the delicacies of statecraft. Further proof of this is that he constantly talks about foreign leaders as being his personal friends. They are not his friends, no matter how friendly they may appear. That is why he needs a strong chief of staff.

Well, don't worry yourself, Mr. Ratcliffe. Since 'quid pro quo' didn't stick, and extortion wouldn't stick, bribery isn't going to stick either, and Pelosi will simply come up with another nutty charge. Whats next, Nance? Child porn? How about failure to signal while turning into a supermarket? Not on the transcript? No problem, we'll just throw it out there and hope the narrative will stick. This is what happens when your constituents would vote for a 50-pound bag of donkey poop as long as it had a 'D' after its name. She and Shiff and most of the other demorats don't have to worry about elections, so they're free to wallow in this disgusting display of lying and partisanship all without fear of retribution.

Stinks to high heaven. Subpoena Vindmans emails and phone records. Want to see how much contact he had with the whistleblower prior to the August 25th call.
Bet it's lots!
If he won't answer questions, we will find the answers.
Advice to President, get rid of ALL the Obama holdovers, yesterday.

Sorry, I don’t see anything “ham-handed” in the head of the Executive branch of the government asking another country to look into corruption, and I certainly don’t see the President’s request to do so as “a personal favor.” I am a part of this nation, and I have no problem with President Trump’s style. In fact, it’s about time we had someone in office who cuts to the chase and speaks plain English. So tired of the powdered wig/buckled shoe approach to diplomacy...no matter who it is.

Take a gander at that small pile of paper from 10 depositions given over hours and hours. You can bet your last dollar it would be at least twice of high if Shiff for Brains didn't edit out all the exculpatory evidence. And you can count on the fact that the remaining depositions not yet released will be full of the word "bribery". You heard it here first.

Dear #3, you stated: “When speaking for the nation, one does not seek personal favors.”
President Trump was not asking for ‘personal favors.’ He was cautious to see if the former corruption had ceased before releasing your and my taxpayer funds to fight Soviet aggression.
He may or may not consider other world leaders his/our friend... His “Art of the Deal” has made him successful in business and now trade equity for America.
As Corey said, ‘Let Trump be Trump.’
