Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz is set to testify about his investigation into alleged Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuses next month. After what appeared to be multiple delays, the announcement of the Dec. 11 hearing is a clear sign the report on FBI intelligence-gathering activities related to the 2016 presidential election is slated to be released to the public in the coming weeks. "I appreciate all the hard work by Mr. Horowitz and his team regarding the Carter Page FISA warrant application and the counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign," Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham said on Monday.

Will they proclaim, automatically, that Horowitz is lying and trot out assorted "accusers" from his past with all manner of crimes hoping to ruin him?

The build up to this report has made it almost impossible for it to live up to the hype. Hannity has promised that it will be devastating. If so, it will be the FIRST time that democrats have been held accountable for anything. Poor Roger Stone is facing a possible life sentence for doing the same thing that democrats are now walking free after doing. Justice seems to be a one way street in Washington. Can these institutions police themselves and hold the people that they have worked with or known most of their careers. Americans want justice, but will they see it? If the report comes out and shows serious corruption but the brains behind this outrageous lawlessness is ignored while some lowly minions face prosecution, the investigators will have accomplished nothing. I am so cynical that I believe the reason it has taken so much time for this report to be released is because of the wheeling and dealing done by the big names to save their hides. Probably the most important delay was caused by the investigators trying to come up with the extremely difficult strategy of how to roll this out to the American people when they realize that the real power and force behind it will be exempt from prosecution. Does anyone really believe that this investigation will get to the person who put this whole abomination into play? There will be a lot of censuring and reprimanding that goes on but little prosecution of those at the top of this conspiracy. Having the needed and proper coverage of this by the media is going to be difficult if not impossible. You can bet that they already have a strategy in place to downplay this as nothing more than vindictiveness and revenge on the part of the President and they will hammer that 24/7. Get ready for the media to attempt to save their heroes. They are not miraculously going to see the light and start reporting the truth. For this to get proper coverage instead of spin by the democrat loving media is going to take divine intervention because the media Is as committed to this conspiracy as the actual perpetrators and probably were co-conspirators. While we wait and pray, the Republic is hanging by a thread and we will soon see if the Deep State has the power to snip that thread once and for all or if the patriots will prevail with enough determination, courage and strength to knit this gash in the heart of the Republic back together.

I just hope it's a Christmas present, not a lump of coal. Many IG reports seem to give a tongue lashing but hold no one legally or at least job accountable for what clearly are deliberate actions NOT in the best interests of the People of the United States. That's how the deep state grows, by creeps. The only thing that stops these bureaucratic thugs is criminal accountability. It's LONG overdue and desperately needed. I don't give 2 cents about damage to the "reputations" of these agencies. They need MAJOR corrective guidance.

During the impeachment hearing Tuesday, Texas Republican Rep. John Ratcliffe addressed the elephant in the room, or more appropriately, the elephant conspicuously not in the room. The Democrats are accusing President Trump of “bribery,” yet, as Ratcliffe highlights emphatically, after six weeks of witness interviews in the Democrat-led inquiry, not one witness has even so much as uttered the word “bribery” or “bribe” in reference to Trump’s actions regarding Ukraine.“At a press conference last Thursday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said that President Trump committed the impeachable offense of ‘bribery,’ evidenced in his July 25th call transcript with President Zelensky,”

The Democrats’ star impeachment witness Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman refused to characterize former Vice President Joe Biden’s (D) threat — to withhold aid from Ukraine unless it fired a prosecutor investigating Burisma Holdings — as “wrong,” admitting that he viewed the video showing Biden bragging about his threat but refraining from condemning it. During his line of questioning, Rep. Chris Stewart (R-UT) noted that Vindman’s concerns of the July 25 phone call between President Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky were based on “moral, ethical, and policy differences” rather than legal concerns.

While questioning Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman on Tuesday, Rep, Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, worked to narrow where the whistleblower may have gotten his information from. Vindman, a National Security Council expert on Ukraine, was testifying in the second week of the Democratic Party’s dog and pony impeachment show trial and the matter of who he spoke with about President Trump’s call with Ukraine was a central focus for Republicans. Citing an earlier deposition, Jordan spoke about concerns from Tim Morrison, the departing senior director of European and Russian affairs at the National Security Council,

During the heyday of American vaudeville, the answer to the question “Will it play in Peoria?” determined whether a show would be a hit or a flop. It was generally understood that if the production wasn’t acceptable to those in heartland America, there was no chance it would succeed anywhere else in the country. So how is the Nancy Pelosi vaudeville production of “The Impeachment Follies” starring Adam Schiff and his merry mélange of marionettes playing in Peoria? Polling, which took place two weeks prior to the opening act of the public impeachment performance and more facts favorable to Trump thus being exposed, revealed some interesting results
