While one group of students at West Linn High School in Oregon walked out of class to protest the presence of Chick-Fil-A food carts at their school’s football games, another group walked out waving bags of the chicken franchise’s offerings and sporting MAGA (“Make America Great Again”) hats.
The dueling walkouts took place on Friday, local station KATU reports:
“The (school’s) Gay-Straight Alliance is upset that a Chick-Fil-A food cart is allowed at high school football games. They say Chick-Fil-A supports anti-LGBTQ+ organizations.D

As far as I'm concerned they can keep on walking.

Think about it... these students are protesting a "food truck". IF this is what they are protesting, life is pretty dang good.
Compare the "Gay-Straight Alliance students" to those protesting in Hong Kong. These students look foolish.

Where do these arrogant fools get the idea that their skipping class hurts or inconveniences anyone but themselves?

Apparantly, the owner is not allowed to support traditional causes, or he's 'against' the LGBTQ-alphabet gang.
I can say one thing for sure: I'm against LGBTQ activists, and anyone so rude as to act like they do...

I am an old man, but in my day the LGBT'ers were closeted.
Today even High School has become a freak show.

If the jerks want to protest food carts at football games, boycott the football games.
But the way things are trending, the administration and teachers will award extra credit for students who skip class.

You have to get to concession stands early at high school football games if you want Chick-Fil-A around here in Texas. They go fast!

I think it's damned nice of them to increase Chick-Fil-A's bottom line. Every time these freaks pull one of these stunts, CFA's sales increase, but they're too stupid and full of hate to realize that.

Let them leave. More chicken for the rest of us.///
Thanks to the leftist indoctrination over the past several decades, these kids have forgotten that Speech is a TWO way street. Not just their way. They want respect? They need to learn that not only is respect earned, not just given, but that they need to show respect for the opinions of others. After all, they might be right.

These LGBTQ people are not doing their cause any favors by constantly protesting things that most folks like. The SCHOOL should have put a stop to this immediately by removing those protesters from School property. Then they should be expelled for walking out of CLASS! Exactly who is in charge at that school? I think most schools, these days, need to have a Military Top Sargent running their school! When I was in school (way back in the 50's) we had a Retired Military guy as our principal. He used to walk the halls between classes looking for young guys who thought they were cool, if he caught them messing around where they shouldn't be , he would grab them by their shirt and slam them into a Locker! He put the fear of God in them, and they were believers! We need Principals like him today, not the Pansies who let the students run the place!

It's great to go to Chic-Fil-Et and get a chicken sandwich without getting shot or body slammed like at Popeye's.

And that's why Chik-Fil-A is enjoying record breaking sales across the country. As a bonus, people are not trying to kill each other to buy a sandwich, they just stand peacefully in line and wait their turn.
Sexual perverts, gender-confused snowflakes, tattooed fat girls with cherry-red hair and effiminate girlie men with ear rings will not make a dent in a religion that has existed for two thousand years so they might as well get over it. If they don't approve of Chik-Fil-A they can buy a hot dog. If they get hungry on Sunday, they can go to Burger King and buy a seaweed Whopper. Nobody cares.

Bravo #2. It's more of a "playtest" than a protest. Today's li'l snowflakes missed out on all the cool stuff that happened in the 60's so they settle for reenactments. When I was a kid I grew up playing WWII, cowboys and Indians, and Civil War highly influenced by the centennial. Today's leftoid kiddies are playing 60's civil rights activists.

I haven't patronized Chik-fil-a in a while. I think I need to remedy that, just to show my "support" for these mis-educated nitwits.

So it's not really about the football?
Kids, if you don't like what Chick-Fil-A stands for, don't patronize them. Very simple.
Enjoy the football game. It's a part of your high school memories. You'er way too young to be making calls such as "walking out" of a class because you take issue with something. You are only hurting yourself.

I wish our young people would learn that the more in-your-face you are about anything, the more people will push back. I don't care who anyone, young or old, sleeps with. But to use it as a club to beat me over the head with will always make me turn away from your cause.
I don't give a hoot about our differences. If a black woman, a gay man and a devout Muslim all show up to the PTA meeting and want to find ways to keep our children safe and well-educated, or come to the city council meeting to discuss better ways of delivering city services, I will respect those people. If they show up and ask how their individual causes and proclivities will be pushed to the front of the line and accommodated, the rest of the people be damned, then I will close my mind and heart towards them.

When I was in high school our main argument was whether Chevy or Ford made the best cars or what was the best British rock group, the Beatles or the Stones. There were no walkouts or formal protests or you were suspended for several weeks and had to make up the time the following Summer, an agonizing ordeal. As long as clowns like the LGBTQXYZ crowd or the Greta Thunberg Green Weenie cabal are allowed to do whatever they like we will see more of this. What's next, a protest over beheading Turkeys on Thanksgiving?

Fine...... next season arrange for a Popeye's food truck instead. Let these flakes receive the current treatment that some customers are getting from Popeye's employees.
Wanna body slam with that sandwich, peaches??

So this is what passes for news today? A handful of maladjusted malcontents in Podunk, Oregon find an excuse to skip class and call attention to themselves in support of the media's cause pet cause. How earth shattering. s/

Do gays do anything but protest (in public) ?
As Golda Meir said "Don't be so humble. You are not that great" You just aren't special enough for me to care.
I don't eat chicken but do not get between me and where I eat or shop. Need three feet of personal space.
