Forget 'Where's Hunter?' -- Where's Lindsey Graham?

Original Article

I, for one, have grown weary of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), appearing on every other talk show bloviating about spygate, Ukrainegate, collusiongate, and all the wrongs committed against the Trump presidency and then doing nothing to fight back other than getting his face in front of the camera. Lindsey, do your job or get off the pot -- call some hearings, as you promised, and go for the Democrat’s jugular.

I keep saying it, but don't trust Lindsey Graham as far as you can throw him. One day you think he's on our side, then he says something (notice it's just him saying stuff) that makes you question whose side he's on. Again. He did too much during the Kavanaugh hearings, and the deep state allowed him to get away with it. He got the chairmanship to help them, not US. He's enjoying the attention he's getting from the media and from the President, but he has no intention of actually doing anything to hurt the deep state. I'm sure the deep state has a lot on him. He's as phony as Nancy Pelosi's eyelashes and teeth.

Graham is a political chimera. One day he is a deep stater and the next he is all in for Trump. In short, he is unreliably Republican.

There are those in his home state who equate his value to that of ‘teats on a bull’ Not unlike ‘all hat no cattle’ Trey Gowdy. If you want talk and bluster- they got you covered. Results- Lois Lerner is throwing back mojitos at the IRS Spa and retirement resort. Susan Rice is preaching to us about veracity. Lindsey is looking like the new Jeff Sessions. Not dirtying his hands.

Many, many agree. Lindsey is best known for never being able to pass a reporter with a camera and a mic and going into one of his self-serving little speeches. He had a shining moment in the Kavanaugh travesty, but he can’t ride on that forever.

"Lindsey, do your job or get off the pot -- call some hearings, as you promised, and go for the Democrat’s jugular. " That will never happen. "Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? Then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil?" Jeremiah 13:23 He's been in DC too long and was probably compromised long ago. He's been a middle of the road/ milqutoast republican as long as I can remember. I would not be surprised if we discover that his fingerprints (along with John McCain's) are also on the fake dossier, or that he leaks to the media or that he is "anonymous". I hope the president is not counting on him or any other senate republican for support. Given sufficient cover, (i.e. some excuse or reason to hide behind as to why they cannot do the right thing or keep their promises to voters) they always, ALWAYS cave in to the democrats.

As Rep. Adam Schiff’s “sentence first, trial later” show trial of President Donald J. Trump reaches a so-called public hearing phase, we find the weaver of fables dictating what witnesses the GOP will be permitted to call based on a set of three qualifying question they must answer in advance. These questions ask, essentially, if the witnesses believe President Trump is guilty of pressuring Ukraine to dig up dirt on the Bidens in exchange for military aid. The GOP, it seems, will not be allowed to call witnesses who have testimony or evidence to the contrary, that there was no pressure and no quid pro quo.

History, someone once said, is a lie agreed upon, and nowhere is that more self-evident than in accounts of America’s racial history as told by Democrats. Republicans are the party of racism and slavery when the historical record shows just the opposite to be true. As Thomas Sowell notes, Democrats value black votes but not black voters. Democrats need black voters to be fearful, angry, resentful and paranoid. Black votes matter. If Republicans could get 20 percent of black votes, the Democrats would be ruined.

Beto O’Rourke will never get the chance to take away the AR-15 kept in the home of Jeremy King of Lithia, Florida. King and his family are grateful for that and for the right to keep and bear arms enshrined, without any asterisk, in the Second Amendment of the Constitution that Democrats claim to be defending. Yep, that AR-15, the very same “assault” weapon owned by bitter clingers said to endanger such families and the neighborhoods they live in.

Those who leave their energy-guzzling multi-million-dollar mansions when they fly off on their private jets to save-the-planet climate change conferences like to ease their consciences and explain their hypocrisy by pointing to their carbon offsets like paying for trees to be planted somewhere that might mature in a hundred years or so. There are a lot of trees in California and a good number of them are on fire, thanks to environmental regulations and policies that are supposed to protect the environment but are in fact destroying it.

The network coverage of the testimony of National Security Council staffer Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman as a “bombshell” and “damning” was laughable and dishonest, implying that his service to his country wearing its uniform made him a credible and unbiased witness without a political agenda. Particularly egregious were the comments of NBC News anchor Lester Holt, who equated wartime courage with peacetime candor.

In an age of “cafeteria Catholics” who pick and choose which church doctrines they will adhere to and which they will ignore, an age where we have a Pope Francis, who would have us pray for the oceans and invites Amazonian “priests” and their fertility gods into the Vatican, it was refreshing to see a Catholic priest speak truth to power and tell a craven Catholic politician that abortion-on-demand is a moral evil opposed by the Catholic Church and to approve of it means you are unworthy of receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion. .

With Quid Pro Joe Biden's confession to using U.S. resources to pressure a foreign government to benefit his son, maybe in the next Democrat debate, one of the questions will be why, if fossil fuels are evil, the Democrats are committed to ending their use, and we have a decade or so to live before we freeze our hoohahs to death, it was okay for Hunter Biden to sit on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian natural gas holding company. Seems Hunter had his very own greenback new deal.

Fox News legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano, who of late has been the poster child for the increasingly leftward tilt of the network touted as "fair and balanced," and who believes that President Trump is guilty of colluding with the Russians to affect the 2016 election and of pressuring Ukraine to investigate a political opponent, insists that the inquiry by Rep. Adam Schiff is perfectly legal because there is no requirement in law that a vote to conduct such an inquiry be taken.

That’s how Jordan dresses. It’s his power move. His sartorial chest thump. All the other members of the House Intelligence Committee turned up in suits and ties or other business attire. By most everyone’s judgment, the Senate will not vote to remove President Donald Trump from office if the House impeaches him. But what if senators could vote on impeachment by secret ballot? If they didn’t have to face backlash from constituents or the media or the president himself, who knows how many Republican senators would vote to remove? A secret impeachment ballot might sound crazy, but it’s actually quite possible.(Snip) Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said he will immediately move to hold a trial to adjudicate the articles of impeachment if and when the Senate receives them from the House of Representatives.

Hillary Clinton has explained her reasoning for omitting Margaret Thatcher from new book about “gutsy” women. During an appearance on BBC Radio 5 Live to discuss the former secretary of state’s book, The Book of Gusty Women: Favourite Stories of Courage and Resilience, host Emma Barnett questioned why the first female prime minister of the UK was not included. “Surely she comes to mind with gutsy women, even if you didn’t like her?” Barnett asked Clinton. In response to the inquiry, Clinton, who lost the election that would have made her the first female president of the United States in 2016,

There’s no doubt Kanye West has found religion. Listen to the musically arresting “Jesus is King,” and you’ll hear a powerful, positive case for a personal relationship with G-d. But will secular Americans heed his call? Considering that we’re living in historically peaceful and prosperous times, it’s notable how misery stalks many Americans like a shadow. Countless government programs have tried to fix what ails us, at least since the Great Society got going, and it never quite works. That’s why I’m hoping Kanye’s music will inspire more Americans to join his religious journey.
