Violence in Chicago proves black lives

Last month, President Trump visited my hometown of Chicago to speak at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference. Sadly, the city’s top cop, Superintendent Eddie Johnson, skipped his event that day in protest. But he, and Chicago’s mayor, Lori Lightfoot, should have attended to hear some hard truths. Trump has been criticizing Chicago leadership since 2016 for allowing the violence to become one of the worst in the world, earning the title in 2015 as America’s mass-shooting capital, and he continued to highlight Chicago’s problems during the conference. In response, Chicago’s mayor suggested Trump focus on his issues in DC, and the liberal press touted

FTA: “All over the world,” Trump scolded, “they’re talking about Chicago.” But Chicago is not an isolated problem. Detroit, St. Louis, Memphis, Baltimore, Kansas City, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Oakland.'' Any Republican mayors in that listing?

The Dems really don't care about blacks at all simply because they will still vote for them whether the blacks are alive or dead, so what difference does it make?

Having been born and raised in Lake County north of Chicago before moving for good to Colorado, and having had to listen to Chicago's msm and its constant drivel about black lives back then, I can speak from experience that Chicago's political machine was just as complacent and outright criminal toward the black community then as it is today while showering the black community with their political trinkets. In the eyes of the machine, the gimme dat black community only exists one purpose for Chicago's dims....votes. Obie, would you agree?

Current dem pols simply do NOT support law enforcement. ...Quite the opposite, as they actively advocate against law enforcement in local jurisdictions, along the borders, and even through their politicised judicial appointees. These days, a vote for a dem pol seems to be a vote for lawlessness and violence.

What is ironic about the black lives matter crowd is they do not practice what they preach. In Chicago, the highest rate of shootings and murders is blacks shooting and murdering other blacks. The only people that are in a position to turn this around is the black community, because they have been told (and believe) that non-blacks are their enemy.

The dictionary defines a conjurer as someone who “practices magic arts” and “performs feats of sleight of hand and illusion.” Someone like Adam Schiff. The California Democrat takes his magic act public Wednesday as the impeachment hearings burst out of a Capitol Hill dungeon and onto television. Donald Trump’s presidency and the 2020 election likely hang on whether Schiff’s sleight of hand can survive the bright lights of public exposure and cross-examination.

"I went into this thinking one, two weeks maybe -- I'm not really good at this. But, I'll have fun, I'll learn something," he said. "I really really enjoyed this -- It exceeded my expectations."

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said the Trump impeachment inquiry, as constructed, is a threat to the presidency and should not be legitimized. Graham told "Hannity" on Tuesday the allegation President Trump engaged in a quid pro quo with Ukrainian officials is also not true. "I think it would be a danger to the presidency in the future for us to legitimize what's going on in the House," he said. "There's no civil proceeding in America -- no criminal proceeding in America -- that denies a person to tell their side of the story by calling witnesses except in the House."

The Supreme Court on Tuesday is set to take up the Trump administration’s plan to end protections that shield about 660,000 immigrants from deportation, and legal experts say all eyes will be on the likely tie-breaker Chief Justice John Roberts.Created under an Obama-era executive order, DACA gives some undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children the chance to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and become eligible for a work permit. Legal experts have looked back on Roberts’ June vote that blocked a citizenship question from appearing on the 2020 census.

There’s no doubt Kanye West has found religion. Listen to the musically arresting “Jesus is King,” and you’ll hear a powerful, positive case for a personal relationship with G-d. But will secular Americans heed his call? Considering that we’re living in historically peaceful and prosperous times, it’s notable how misery stalks many Americans like a shadow. Countless government programs have tried to fix what ails us, at least since the Great Society got going, and it never quite works. That’s why I’m hoping Kanye’s music will inspire more Americans to join his religious journey.
