The moment House Speaker Nancy Pelosi chose Adam Schiff to be the point man for the House “impeachment inquiry,” the effort to create a credible case against President Trump was doomed. The overarching case the Democrats have made against Trump is that he is a deeply dishonest man and this fundamental flaw in his personality has inevitably manifested itself in a variety of impeachable offenses. This was the primary theme of the Russia collusion hoax, and it is the basic narrative underlying the Ukraine scandal. Consequently, the decision to put a man of Schiff’s well-documented mendacity in charge of the inquiry was a colossal blunder.

Okay, we are in agreement. This whole fiasco is a travesty of justice and yet it just continues on to play out any lies and innuendoes that the democrats can spew. Apparently, there is nothing to be done but sit back and watch a bunch of anti-Trump zealots continue this farce. Where are the sage legal scholars who have to know the process is fatally flawed? The clear unfairness of the process is quite apparent. This inability to stop something so egregiously unfair is mind blogging especially when it involves nullifying the votes of 63 million voters. How can such a thing happen in this country?

How can it happen in this country, #2? Lying democrats and their lying media allies. That simple, and yeah, I know that you know that.

But significant damage has already been done. The incessant poisonous propaganda of 'evidence in plain sight" was believed by 50% of the voters who went to the polls in 2018. The Democrats cleverly exploited this by fielding faux 'moderate' candidates who (as it turns out) falsely promised to work for solutions to the nation's burgeoning problems when in Washington. It is for PDT and the Republicans to deftly exploit this 'skullduggery' to win back the House.

All of this ankle biting is an attempt to get Trump frustrated enough so that he does something that the Dims can use to prop up their "impeachment" efforts. It will never end.

So, Schifter and Nan, how much has THIS joke cost us taxpayers so far? $3 million? $5 million? What isn't getting done that should be getting done while this travesty plays out?

Everybody, including the democrats, knows that this whole "impeachment process" is a sham, a hoax, an empty bass drum which these democrats keep pounding, but they do not expect the President to be rolled out of office. What they are doing is fertilizing the lies and the anti-americanism that are at the root of the process. In short, THEY ARE TRYING TO TURN THE ELECTION COMING UP INTO WHAT THEY HAVE WANTED EVER SINCE THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA FAILED TO ELECT CLINTON. They are aided in this effort by the media, the rest of the democratic faithful, and the even dumber "never trumpers". Will it work? I don't know. If it does, I believe that life here in America will become quite different from what it has been these last 4 years.

FTA: “ The overarching case the Democrats have made against Trump is that he is a deeply dishonest man and this fundamental flaw in his personality has inevitably manifested itself in a variety of impeachable offenses.”
There is of course no evidence that he is a “deeply dishonest man.”
The writer left out a step in tge Left’s thought process:
‘Because he has what we want- power- and because we are entitled to it and are the ones who deserve it, the only way he could have attained it is by being a “deeply dishonest man.”’
Of course, the Left just wants power and doesn’t need a reason to create a schiff show.

#6, it’s cost a hell of a lot more than that. Between the business that isn’t getting done in Congress due to this farrago, the immense damage Schiff et al have done to America’s relationships with its allies, the emboldening of our enemies due to the Democrats’ defenestration of our President, and the sharp and hardened partisan divide they’ve instilled in the population, I reckon the damage in hundreds of Trillions of dollars. The last is the most dangerous; it could literally wreck the Nation. All in the service of the Democrats’ will to power. Godwin’s Law notwithstanding, you have to go back to Nazi Germany to find a worse example of a political party’s willingness to inflict damage at home and abroad in order to gain and maintain power and advance their radical agenda.

FTA: "Unlike Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats, the voters know the difference between Schiff and Shinola." I hope Mr. Catron is right, but I have my doubts. 30 plus years of brainwashing by the education lefties and repeated lies from the lamestream media are taking their toll and slowly but surely chipping away at the ever decreasing number of Americans who can think for themselves. It is beyond frustrating...
