On Tuesday, 25 Evangelical pastors and leaders who met and prayed with President Trump took a photo with him that triggered Trump critics to mock them for their support of the president. According to Fox News, the religious leaders said most of the time they spent with Trump revolved around issues other than impeachment. Fox News reported the issues under discussion included, “the nomination of federal judges, criminal justice reform, the defense of religious freedom, abortion reduction, the child tax credit, opportunity zones, the battle against opioid addiction and human trafficking, the Islamic State and the targeted operation leading to the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.”

Trump breathing triggers Trump critics to mock him. Looks like he's still breathing. Nancy Pelosi says she's praying for him. Did they mock her, too?

Former White House adviser Steve Bannon is looking to buy a respected British newspaper and steer it to the right, according to a report Sunday. The Breitbart co-founder confirmed that he is looking to assemble a consortium to take over the UK broadsheet The Daily Telegraph.“It’s one of the great untapped properties,” Bannon told The Sunday Times of London, which said he wanted to make the paper founded in 1855 a “global voice of Trumpian populism.”Bannon, 65, did not say how he expected to come up with the minimum $130 million asking price for the paper, which last sold for around $860 million in 2004.

Much has been written about the so-called Resistance of disgruntled Clinton, Obama, and progressive activists who have pledged to stop Donald Trump’s agenda. The choice of the noun “Resistance,” of course, conjures up not mere “opposition,” but is meant to evoke the French “resistance” of World War II—in the melodramatic sense of current loyal progressive patriots doing their best to thwart by almost any means necessary the Nazi-like Trump. We know from a variety of disinterested watchdog institutions and foundations that the media has offered 90 percent negative coverage of the Trump Administration. “Meet the Press” ventured outside the beltway to ask voters in early primary states what they thought about Democrats’ impeachment push—and the Left is not going to like what they had to say. Elizabeth Warren is the current favorite for the Democratic presidential nomination, but one wonders how voters will react when they learn about her bizarrely radical agenda. Warren openly advocates making all private health insurance–the kind that a large majority of Americans have–illegal. She hasn’t begun to think through the implications of this extreme proposal, but when voters begin to contemplate it, my guess they will vote against her, enthusiastically. Yesterday Warren was asked what would become of all those people who are now employed in the health insurance industry. Her answer shows her ignorance of insurance, as well as of the economy in general:

As a means of making ethical Trump supporters feel better about backing the president, this defense has appeal. But is there anything to it? Not much. Ronald Reagan changed Washington without being Trump-like. Headline corrected*
