Sen. Mitt Romney said Monday his Utah constituents are split on whether he is too tough of President Trump—or not tough enough. The Utah Republican told USA Today that during a series of town halls he asked: “How many of you in the room think I’m being too tough on the president?” Mr. Romney said about half the room raised their hands, and that the other half raised their hands when he asked if he needed to be more critical of the president. “People tend to associate with people of like mind, and they assume everyone thinks the way they do,”

How many of them wanted to license the name Pierre Delecto ?
About half. But who’s counting? 60/40? 55/45? 10/90?

I wouldn't bother going to one of his town halls and assume many from Utah feel the same. So his "polling" can't be very representative of his constituency.

If half of the people at a Mitt Romney town hall say he’s too tough, then image what the people who refuse to meet with this insufferable poseur must feel.

Mr. Romney thinks "everyone assumes people think they way they do". Romney doesn't know anything about everyone, and should stop pretending to know how others think. Romney shows himself a fool every time he speaks.

He obviously never studied statistics.
That wasn't a poll of voters. It was a poll of his few 'fans'. I wouldn't set foot in one of his town hall events. I don't like pseudo intellectuals.

Pierre Defecto doing his own rigged poll. In the same sentence he also asked if they like his new haircut and Brylcream he put in it. He packed the room with his fans because any conservative who likes President Trump wasn't in that room.

The thing here is why is Mitt Romney being what he calls tough on TRump.
It isn't toughness, it is Spite. It is Jealousy, It is Vengeful.
It is because Mitt Romney is an ass-hat

Mitt could have chosen to be on the Trump Train, where he would appear to be a supporter of the roaring economy, low unemployment, second amendment freedom, strong military, lower taxes and a strong and effective military.
But, he chooses to mimic McCain and be a Mini Maverick. Good luck getting reelected on that train track.

It is not a question of whether or not he is too tough on Trump. It is the fact that Romney disagrees with everything Trump does and has to run our in front of the camera and give his uninformed opinion. So, he asked the wrong question. He is trying to be the Republican opposition/resistance and is assuming the mantle of the new John McCain. And, that is pathetic.

Mormons will side with a fellow Mormon before they EVER side with a "gentile."

Supposedly Romney asked at one of his townhalls.
But he neglected to mention that he only invites his loyal few to those townhalls.
No Democrats or Independents are even aware they are scheduled.
Many registered Republicans are also out of the loop as to when or where they will be held.
I wonder how he'd "poll" if his townhalls were open to everyone?
I'm a Republican here in Utah and I despise the guy who gamed his way onto the ballot, then ballot harvesting (illegal here) put him in office.

I would have to analyze the thick headedness of those who support Pierre Delecto's behavior. would they be refried Mormans who are as goofed up as he is?

Yeah, sure, rirrrrght, gotcha. And mitt would never lie to us, right? A real transparent guy, mitt is. I have a source (I can't disclose my source) that told me the 50/50 split is accurate, and then told me there were only two people at the town hall - him and his wife. Guess which way she voted.

How many showed up for his town hall meeting? Two? Frankly I don’t believe a word he says. Did he ask them what they thought of his fake Twitter account?

Since when is backstabbing characterized as "being tough"? Weasels are not "tough".
