They Could ‘Convict’ Trump

On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Beat,” political commentator Bill Kristol said Republicans Senators were not ruling out voting to “convict” President Donald Trump during and impeachment trial. Kristol said, “The White House is panicking that is what is happening. That is why Trump is lashing out at everyone in truly as the senator says, it is unhinged ways. That’s why Lindsey Graham is floating this ridiculous resolution telling the House how to do it’s business and giving Republican senators something they can kinda be for.” He continued, “Even the reasonable Republicans who might defect don’t want to defend Trump on substance.

The wheels are falling off the Bill just like MSM which now uses Memes to support their supposition. The fact is if the Republicans go against their President there won't be a Republican party any longer.

Kristol has lost all credibility from his malignant case of TDS. Objectivity left him sometime in 2015-16 and will never come back. Sad that he flushed his career and reputation down the toilet for a life of hate.

I find Kristol's comments bizarre, and probably, disingenuous. . These unnamed Senators are either willing to vote for impeachment without evidence, or only on the selective 'evidence' leaked by the Democrats on Schiff's Star Chamber. And Kristol is more than fine with this? What... A... Loser...

Oh please. The desperate ones are Krystal and his little cabal of Trump haters. The President is right. They are pond scum. Anyone can look at the success of the Trump administration and only marvel. He has accomplished so much despite the 24/7 vicious attacks by the media, democrats and never Trumpers. Any other man would have been paralyzed or thrown in the towel. It is obvious he is doing the will of the people and is doing his best to fulfill his promises to them. The caterwauling disrespect from every side is unprecedented and a national disgrace. Krystal is immersed in the swamp and reveres the Deep State. Of course, he hates anyone that comes in to destroy the beast that is stealing tax payer dollars, advocating for endless wars, protecting the ruling class status quo at all cost and is trampling the Constitution. Krystal is the very definition of what is wrong with this government. He wants the ruling political class to be preeminent and in his little mind we the people are not capable or worthy of self-government. Only he and his contemporaries are worthy enough to rule over the rest of us. We are deplorable to them and our leader is the absolute worst because he actually fights for us, this country, our values and the American way of life. It sticks in Krystal’s craw that the President was elected and has been wildly successful, but what really has set him off is that this President is determined to drain the Swamp and expose the graft and corruption that is destroying our government. And that is an abomination to a swamp dweller like Krystal.

If true, why is this surprising? PDT is on the verge of destroying the UNIPARTY that has been victimizing Americans for decades through their government for fun and profit. Impeachment is not a legal process; it is indeed political. I suspect none of these GOPe senators would vote to convict today as it is too politically risky. However, let's not forget that this is a long term project with a few steps...beginning with trashing Trump and driving down his numbers to "underwater" levels. That would make him "impeachable". There will be a move to force PDT from seeking re-election, which is the basic plan. He has already been accused of rape, profiting from his office, and worse. The drumbeat will not end until "resolution". Failing that will be an attempt to deny him re-nomination, with "blockbusters" dropped leading into the primaries, particularly New Hampshire, which is home territory for one Western senator who already has a shadow campaign operating. Failing that, the object becomes denying re-election, probably with a very messy convention and on to November to provide the "base" and NeverTrumpers enough drang and sturm to lower turnout and increase apparent opposition. And there is also the threat of "favorite son" third party candidates in key states. The object for these is NOT to win, but to drain votes or create social dilemmas. The ultimate object is to do away with PDT no later than 21 January 2021. Beyond that date will be rinse and repeat...maybe much worse. There will be many "privately" enthusiastic GOPe Senators for that...in the background.

Republicans, ALL REPUBLICANS, including never Trumpers better understand that it is President Donald J. Trump holding together the Republican party. If the Senate dare votes to remove President Trump, 63 million people, or some very large part of that number, will, I believe, end their support of the Republican party. Instantly, the party of Lincoln, the party that saved this great Republic, the party that ensured blacks got the vote, ended Jim Crow, voted in the 1964 Civil Rights Act will be removed to the ash bin of history. And you know what Bill Kristol and Mittens and Mitch, no one, not the Democrats, not the media, not the Washington DC lobby with all its cash will give a crap about what you have to say. There will go all those lucrative gigs forever. And this great Republic will indeed perish under the tyranny of the socialist Democrats and Stalinist media.

Bill Kristol for some reason has a very bad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome from day one. The man is not rational. If he would stop slandering Trump for a minute and think, he might realize that he is far better than any of the possible Democrat alternatives. And, he seems to believe that the "Pierre Delecto" faction in the Republican party is much bigger than it really is.

After such a Republican vote in the Senate, as dreamed of by Kristol, to remove President Trump from office on bogus leftist and liberal Democrat impeachment charges, that would make the country ungovernable for any future Republican Presidents, if their are any, who obviously would also face similar Democrat removal efforts. Kristol will have another story to opine about, how those Republican Senators committed political suicide for themselves and the Republican Party. Anyone think that the Democrats have not been doing the same things that they have been alleging that Trump did?

I am not a Trump fanatic, and cringe at some of his Twitter comments, but also rejoice in the decent, vastly needed changes he has made.I can see the forrest for the trees! And I have to say, even middle of the road Republican that I am, I would do everything in my power, no matter what the state, to fight against the re-election of any Republican who would vote for this completely without merit ("we don't LIKE him"----wahhhh) "impeachment. As to Bill Crystal, a man I USED to like, I have lost total respect for him, and even quite a bit for former favorite Jonah Goldberg (sorry Lucianne) and would NEVER buy a magazine they edited nor read a blog they were involved in. I won't even get into Mitt Romney!!!!!!! What a nasty, pathetic , vindictive man!

You know what I'd love to see? Someone from our side of the aisle, write up a manifesto of what we expect and demand of our government. Touch on the fact they are supposed to be servants of We the People. Detail our expectation that they commit to respect of the Constitution as written and understood by the Founders. Perhaps expound on a desire for term limits, or somehow restricting federal office holders from pay for play. Then, collect a hundred or so Patriots. Go to the Congress, gently push aside the security that surrounds that building, and nail the manifesto to to the doors of the House and the Senate, in imitation of Martin Luther, nailing his thesis to the doors of the church in Europe, which began the Reformation. That, I'd like to see...

Kristol is full of poop, as are all the never Trumpers. He needs to stop listening to the likes of Mitt, Sasse, etc....Jeb. You know the establishment power brokers. If there was a real high crime and misdemeanor against Trump, he may have a point. However, there is not! They simply don't like Trump for a number of reasons. They think (and he does too) they are the smartest people on the planet, and know how to govern.... ....problem: we the people have the responsibility to govern. Mitt and his ilk have made a huge miscalculation...and they are also protecting their butts. There are many reasons the politicians are against Trump, #1=corruption of some kind...similar to Biden/family. The media types="friends", "insiders", you know the types, "name droppers". The country club types. Rub elbows for scoops. Oh give me a break. There are about 9 real slimes among the so called pubs....we know who they are. But once about 47 of them put their name on that resolution concerning the illegal and unethical lynching of Donald J Trump, they will not go backwards. Kristol lives in lalaland.

He’s right. The Republican Senate is devoid of statesmanship, they are almost without fail bagmen for wall street and corporate donors, money laundering hedge funds and interests who thrive off the government teat. Collins and Murkowski, agents of planned parenthood. Puppets on a string. Mitch? His in laws and the Chinese? These people and their donors want Trump gone, but they can’t risk the popular backlash. Trump has few friends in the Senate. Good for him. But bad for us. These Senators only respond to the threat of primary. Don’t trust them with the dogs dinner.

Al Capone, el Chapo, Osama bin Laden, John Dillinger, Bonnie and Clyde, all any of them had to do was enter the democrat primary as presidential candidates, and the feds would have had to immediately stop all investigations of their activities, lest the president at the time be impeached for pursuing them. Wow! Who knew? Hey, got a big tax problem with the feds? Now you know how to stall them. "I am announcing today my candidacy for ...." Of course we all know what we are witnessing: the democrats trying to head off the investigation into the framing of Trump for a fabricated Russian collusion, by threatening impeachment for investigating the Bidens' very real political corruption.

An estimated 6,000 women and girls in Ireland have had their genitals mutilated, and experts warn that another 3,000 girls are currently at risk of being subjected to female genital mutilation (FGM). At a conference in Dublin, activists gathered to decry the practice of FGM and called for a national plan of action. The Journal reports that Senator Ivana Bacik, who helped craft Ireland’s anti-FGM legislation, said that the practices should be treated as “a serious form of child abuse”. FGM, sometimes referred to as “cutting”, is a cultural practice in which some or all of a pre-pubescent girl’s external genitalia is removed. The World Health Organization (WHO)

The 2020 election — barring a shocker — offers a strong chance of producing a president in their 70s. American voters face leading candidates who are another septuagenarian baby boomer whose vision for America is to go back to the so-called glory days (Donald Trump), go back to boring (Joe Biden) or radically reshape America by spending trillions upon trillions of dollars (Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders) the U.S. may not really have. And the strangest bit is that each of these front-runners, even with radically different approaches, is promising to somehow address massive structural problems that their own generation — the enormous baby boom —

America’s newest religion is secular, and its zealous missionaries are focusing their efforts on the country’s youth. John Murawski does an excellent job of detailing the nuts and bolts of the new evangelism in “Woke History Is Making Big Inroads in America’s High Schools.” He begins by delving into California, where a hideous ethnic studies requirement was shelved temporarily in August as many groups protested its anti-capitalist, anti-Semitic bias. In addition to Jews, Armenians, Greeks, Hindus, Koreans and other groups also called for changes. But while it is not a requirement yet, the new religion is most definitely thriving. As Murawski reports, many students currently are being taught

Americans are just beginning to realize that opposition to Donald Trump is the least explanation for what bureaucrats, corporate officials and media magnates have been doing to negate the outcome of the 2016 election. Denying that government by the people is the only legitimate form of rule, they are asserting that legitimate rule flows from right-minded persons in the country’s institutions, elections notwithstanding. The following shows that this assertion flows merely from our ruling class’s will to power. The New York Times long has tried to school us in the rightfulness of the bureaucracy’s attempt to rule America contrary to the results of elections. Last year,

There is interesting data, on the heels of prior versions of this survey from '14 and '17, which is summarized below. I submit the polarity in the U.S. political realm is correlated with this tectonic shift in religious attitudes. Adults identifying as Christians down 12% the past decade

The quip among Jewish Republicans about President Obama’s trafficking with anti-Semites was that he was so popular with American Jews that had he nuked Tel Aviv, he would have lost no more than 30% of the Jewish vote. The affinity for American Jews for the Democrat Party has long been a political curiosity. The distinguished essayist Milton Himmelfarb observed that in America, Jews had attained the socioeconomic status of Episcopalians, but for some reason they continued to vote like Puerto Ricans. Nothing seems to dissolve the sinew that ties Jews to the Democrats. President Obama’s association with the anti-Semitic Rev. Jeremiah Wright brought a collective yawn.

The ideology of the Left is integral to the Left's power. Democrats seek to codify political correctness into legislation as settled verities admitting no further debate. This is despite the abject failure of their policies to solve the problems they contend need fixing. The welfare state has spawned intergenerational dependence and misery as well as national debt. Their self-appointed victims have not been healed by un-gendered bathrooms. Yet despite facts, evidence, and rational thinking, which have all exposed the absurdity of the Left's current dogma, like fanatics, they cling to it more vehemently than ever.

As the Russian collusion nonsense fades into the ether absent any fact basis and the Schiff-Pelosi impeachment funhouse proceedings head in the same direction, some congressional Republicans, like the brave band that shut down the Miami-Dade vote harvesting charade in the Bush-Gore election, stood up at last for fair play. A song called “Lost My Marbles” by Pixie Lower & Friends (British, I believe, current around 1987), was a hint of the condition of the mainstream, approaching the turn of the century. It was a cute number with the line “Too much confusion in my brain” and begged out from making sense out of anything. A propos of that sentiment, a young man at that time told me that he didn’t like to think. Of the shocks I’ve had in life, this new one flew off the chart. It’s a perilous combination that left many anxiously planning for blackouts and the potential for more destructive wildfires, fueled by 36 hours of intense winds. Some fear they will have to confront fires without power, an experience those who fled this week’s Sonoma County fire described as terrifying. The Diablo winds are expected to pick up Saturday

The liberal media were so enamored with President Obama when he gave the order that ultimately resulted in the death of Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden; to the point of almost treating it as though he was the one to pull the actual trigger. But with news breaking late Saturday night that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi met the same fate, the Sunday morning newscasts were awash with anti-Trump journalists whining about President Trump using it a victory for his Middle East policies.

An NCAA runner who was born a male, has just been named female athlete of the week by a college athletic conference. June Eastwood, a biologically male athlete and runner at the University of Montana, was named cross-country female athlete of the week by the Big Sky Conference. “June Eastwood finished second in a field of 204 runners at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, Calif.,” the conference said in an official statement. Eastwood is allowed to compete as a female because of an NCAA policy that permits transgender women (biological males) to compete as women after they’ve taken testosterone suppressors for one year.

Former FBI Director James Comey says he will move to New Zeland if President Trump wins reelection. But depending on the report by Inspector General Michael Horowitz, Comey may not be traveling anywhere at all. The Department of Justice announced last week that it was opening a criminal investigation into the origins of the Russia investigation. At Politicon 2019 in Nashville on Saturday, during a "conversation" with Never Trumper MSNBC host Nicole Wallace, Comey said, "Our leaders must reflect the glue that holds us together. They can’t be people who lie all the time.

On Sunday’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” host Chris Wallace pressed Vice President Mike Pence on why President Donald Trump did not notify House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in advance about the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Wallace said, “The president was asked specifically whether he had informed the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi about this raid last night, and he said no and then he added I wanted to make sure that no American forces were lost. The implication seeming to be that he was worried that Pelosi or members of Congress would leak this. Does the president not trust the Speaker of the House

Before President Donald Trump's press conference on Sunday confirming the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakar al-Baghdadi, former National Intelligence Director James Clapper appeared on CNN's "State of the Union" to discuss what he was hoping to hear the president say. One of the biggest things Clapper was interested in was seeing "the contributions the intelligence community made" that lead to al-Baghdadi's death. He admitted "taking down" al-Baghdadi has "huge symbolic meaning," especially because he has been a target for quite some time.

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher urged both former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton to “go away” and argued that neither of them can be at the 2020 DNC Convention. Maher said, “[T]he Clintons, they’ve got to go away. I’m saying this now, a year out, or less, they can’t be at the convention, maybe on the video waving or something. But I’m serious.” Maher then agreed with Representative Justin Amash’s (I-MI) assessment that Hillary is a “Trump asset” and added, “Bill is damaged goods. I just think they’ve got to go away.”

Quid pro quo . . . it’s the new “by the book.” You remember “by the book,” right? No, not “buy the book,” which I’ve been trying to get people to do since Ball of Collusion was published a few weeks back. I’m talking about by the book. That was the memorable phrase Obama national-security adviser Susan Rice emphasized in her notorious CYA memo. Remember? The memo took the form of an email. She wrote it while clearing out of her White House office while Donald Trump was being inaugurated. It purported to summarize a meeting more than two weeks earlier, when President Obama held an Oval Office pow-wow on Ukraine
