On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Beat,” political commentator Bill Kristol said Republicans Senators were not ruling out voting to “convict” President Donald Trump during and impeachment trial.
Kristol said, “The White House is panicking that is what is happening. That is why Trump is lashing out at everyone in truly as the senator says, it is unhinged ways. That’s why Lindsey Graham is floating this ridiculous resolution telling the House how to do it’s business and giving Republican senators something they can kinda be for.”
He continued, “Even the reasonable Republicans who might defect don’t want to defend Trump on substance.

The wheels are falling off the Bill just like MSM which now uses Memes to support their supposition. The fact is if the Republicans go against their President there won't be a Republican party any longer.

Kristol has lost all credibility from his malignant case of TDS. Objectivity left him sometime in 2015-16 and will never come back. Sad that he flushed his career and reputation down the toilet for a life of hate.

I find Kristol's comments bizarre, and probably, disingenuous. . These unnamed Senators are either willing to vote for impeachment without evidence, or only on the selective 'evidence' leaked by the Democrats on Schiff's Star Chamber. And Kristol is more than fine with this?

Oh please. The desperate ones are Krystal and his little cabal of Trump haters. The President is right. They are pond scum. Anyone can look at the success of the Trump administration and only marvel. He has accomplished so much despite the 24/7 vicious attacks by the media, democrats and never Trumpers. Any other man would have been paralyzed or thrown in the towel. It is obvious he is doing the will of the people and is doing his best to fulfill his promises to them. The caterwauling disrespect from every side is unprecedented and a national disgrace.
Krystal is immersed in the swamp and reveres the Deep State. Of course, he hates anyone that comes in to destroy the beast that is stealing tax payer dollars, advocating for endless wars, protecting the ruling class status quo at all cost and is trampling the Constitution. Krystal is the very definition of what is wrong with this government. He wants the ruling political class to be preeminent and in his little mind we the people are not capable or worthy of self-government. Only he and his contemporaries are worthy enough to rule over the rest of us. We are deplorable to them and our leader is the absolute worst because he actually fights for us, this country, our values and the American way of life. It sticks in Krystal’s craw that the President was elected and has been wildly successful, but what really has set him off is that this President is determined to drain the Swamp and expose the graft and corruption that is destroying our government. And that is an abomination to a swamp dweller like Krystal.

If true, why is this surprising? PDT is on the verge of destroying the UNIPARTY that has been victimizing Americans for decades through their government for fun and profit. Impeachment is not a legal process; it is indeed political. I suspect none of these GOPe senators would vote to convict today as it is too politically risky.
However, let's not forget that this is a long term project with a few steps...beginning with trashing Trump and driving down his numbers to "underwater" levels. That would make him "impeachable".
There will be a move to force PDT from seeking re-election, which is the basic plan. He has already been accused of rape, profiting from his office, and worse. The drumbeat will not end until "resolution".
Failing that will be an attempt to deny him re-nomination, with "blockbusters" dropped leading into the primaries, particularly New Hampshire, which is home territory for one Western senator who already has a shadow campaign operating.
Failing that, the object becomes denying re-election, probably with a very messy convention and on to November to provide the "base" and NeverTrumpers enough drang and sturm to lower turnout and increase apparent opposition. And there is also the threat of "favorite son" third party candidates in key states. The object for these is NOT to win, but to drain votes or create social dilemmas.
The ultimate object is to do away with PDT no later than 21 January 2021. Beyond that date will be rinse and repeat...maybe much worse. There will be many "privately" enthusiastic GOPe Senators for that...in the background.

Republicans, ALL REPUBLICANS, including never Trumpers better understand that it is President Donald J. Trump holding together the Republican party. If the Senate dare votes to remove President Trump, 63 million people, or some very large part of that number, will, I believe, end their support of the Republican party. Instantly, the party of Lincoln, the party that saved this great Republic, the party that ensured blacks got the vote, ended Jim Crow, voted in the 1964 Civil Rights Act will be removed to the ash bin of history. And you know what Bill Kristol and Mittens and Mitch, no one, not the Democrats, not the media, not the Washington DC lobby with all its cash will give a crap about what you have to say. There will go all those lucrative gigs forever. And this great Republic will indeed perish under the tyranny of the socialist Democrats and Stalinist media.

Bill Kristol for some reason has a very bad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome from day one. The man is not rational. If he would stop slandering Trump for a minute and think, he might realize that he is far better than any of the possible Democrat alternatives. And, he seems to believe that the "Pierre Delecto" faction in the Republican party is much bigger than it really is.

After such a Republican vote in the Senate, as dreamed of by Kristol, to remove President Trump from office on bogus leftist and liberal Democrat impeachment charges, that would make the country ungovernable for any future Republican Presidents, if their are any, who obviously would also face similar Democrat removal efforts. Kristol will have another story to opine about, how those Republican Senators committed political suicide for themselves and the Republican Party. Anyone think that the Democrats have not been doing the same things that they have been alleging that Trump did?

I am not a Trump fanatic, and cringe at some of his Twitter comments, but also rejoice in the decent, vastly needed changes he has made.I can see the forrest for the trees! And I have to say, even middle of the road Republican that I am, I would do everything in my power, no matter what the state, to fight against the re-election of any Republican who would vote for this completely without merit ("we don't LIKE him"----wahhhh) "impeachment. As to Bill Crystal, a man I USED to like, I have lost total respect for him, and even quite a bit for former favorite Jonah Goldberg (sorry Lucianne) and would NEVER buy a magazine they edited nor read a blog they were involved in. I won't even get into Mitt Romney!!!!!!! What a nasty, pathetic , vindictive man!

You know what I'd love to see?
Someone from our side of the aisle, write up a manifesto of what we expect and demand of our government. Touch on the fact they are supposed to be servants of We the People. Detail our expectation that they commit to respect of the Constitution as written and understood by the Founders. Perhaps expound on a desire for term limits, or somehow restricting federal office holders from pay for play.
Then, collect a hundred or so Patriots. Go to the Congress, gently push aside the security that surrounds that building, and nail the manifesto to to the doors of the House and the Senate, in imitation of Martin Luther, nailing his thesis to the doors of the church in Europe, which began the Reformation.
That, I'd like to see...

Kristol is full of poop, as are all the never Trumpers. He needs to stop listening to the likes of Mitt, Sasse, etc....Jeb. You know the establishment power brokers.
If there was a real high crime and misdemeanor against Trump, he may have a point. However, there is not! They simply don't like Trump for a number of reasons. They think (and he does too) they are the smartest people on the planet, and know how to govern....
....problem: we the people have the responsibility to govern. Mitt and his ilk have made a huge miscalculation...and they are also protecting their butts. There are many reasons the politicians are against Trump, #1=corruption of some kind...similar to Biden/family. The media types="friends", "insiders", you know the types, "name droppers". The country club types. Rub elbows for scoops. Oh give me a break.
There are about 9 real slimes among the so called pubs....we know who they are. But once about 47 of them put their name on that resolution concerning the illegal and unethical lynching of Donald J Trump, they will not go backwards.
Kristol lives in lalaland.

Al Capone, el Chapo, Osama bin Laden, John Dillinger, Bonnie and Clyde, all any of them had to do was enter the democrat primary as presidential candidates, and the feds would have had to immediately stop all investigations of their activities, lest the president at the time be impeached for pursuing them. Wow! Who knew? Hey, got a big tax problem with the feds? Now you know how to stall them. "I am announcing today my candidacy for ...."
Of course we all know what we are witnessing: the democrats trying to head off the investigation into the framing of Trump for a fabricated Russian collusion, by threatening impeachment for investigating the Bidens' very real political corruption.
