South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham condemned as "nuts" the actions of more than two dozen House Republicans who stormed a closed-door deposition of Defense Department official Laura Cooper on Wednesday afternoon.
"They’re making a run in the SCIF! That’s not the way to do it. That’s nuts," Graham said as the GOP House members remained in the Capitol basement, stalling the House Intelligence Committee's questioning of Cooper. The group of rogue congresspeople was led by Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, who has been sharply critical of the Democrats' secrecy in the early stages of an impeachment probe against President Trump.

If you read the article Graham corrected his statement and walked it back. Another victim of fake news who should know better. Now what is your plan Senator Graham?

Stupid writer. The Congressional Republicans were not ROGUE as she opined. They were elected officials, doing what elected officials should be doing.

It obvious that Senator Graham will do or say anything, as long as it has nothing to do with investigation of Dem wrongdoing. I imagine cobwebs and dust covering wherever the Senate Judiciary Committee doesn't hold hearings because Lindsey Graham has no intention of doing what he has promised the American People.
Lindsey darling, don't think we can't recognize smoke and mirrors when we see it. In the words of Bill Belechick "Just do your Job!".

The Obama-backing Graham is showing his true colors. Said it before: The real sneaks and backstabbers in Congress are the Republicans. First Graham kisses up to Trump, and now he does this. Add in Graham's stand on the troop removal from Syria, and Graham is a fraud. There is plenty of other evidence as well leaving no doubt what Graham is. He cannot be trusted.

If memory serves me, the Constitution says that The House has authority to impeach, not part of the House, but the entire House. The demonrats are trying to hide unlawful activity.

Wrong, Ellie Bufkin! What is 'rogue' is holding such meetings behind closed doors and then allowing anti-Trump leaks. We voters are tired of being dissed and abused by Adam Schiff. We elected this president and think he is doing a great job as our executive officer and diplomat. Instead of acting like communist dictators, Dems need to get back to business. There are issues in America that need addressing now!

A ''cell phone violation!'' How terrible!
What a joke! There were not secrets of national security being discussed, just a Soviet-style secret kangaroo court. It's too bad the democrats and their butt-wipe media don't get as exercised about Hillary's secret server, that contained classified secrets available to all hackers! (And is certain to have been hacked by America's enemies!)

I'm really getting sick of this guy.
I expect him to team up with that jerk senitor from UT someday soon.
He'll have a chance to redeem himself when the JD's IG report is released but I expect he'll quibble over its contents or lack thereof.
What he really wants is a seat on the SCOTUS and he's playing the part of a Wussy RINO by withholding support for Mr Trump to get it. Actually, he's not play acting.
'Anoint me Mr Trump and I'll see what I can do for you'.
He wants a senate trial so he can showcase his magnificent legal acumen in front of God and everybody else.
Nothing but a Back-Stabbing/Slime-Bag Polutitian!

My opinion is that Sen. Graham is probably up to his eyeballs in cohoots with the late Sen. McCain and his promotion of the fake FBI / Steele dossier. He is covering for McCain and his involvement with the coup against President Trump...and where McCain was involved, Lindsey was attached at his hip. He is tamping the lid on any witnesses appearing in the Senate. Self interest comes first.
Defending Kavanaugh didn't cost him anything. The ongoing coup is a different story.

Graham needs to stop worrying about how the investigation may end up tainting his old friend, John McCain, and get on with the hearings.

We learn the most from the automatic response by Graham, which was to back stab the President, instead of waiting to find out what was going on. The clarification is insincere---and is not accepted.
