President Trump is weighing whether to replace acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney with White House counselor Kellyanne Conway.
Trump has asked advisers for their thoughts on Conway as his top White House aide.
Conway would likely face pushback from Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, who also works in the White House. Conway and Kushner are not friendly, two people familiar with the matter said.
Conway has been in the middle of Trump’s barbs with her husband, George, a conservative lawyer who frequently makes headlines for his criticism of the president. George Conway said earlier this month that White House aides should resign unless they can “have some moderating or blunting effect”

I’m not a fan. KAC is fine where she is. Her husband spells trouble.
Mulvaney has been outstanding. Hopefully he can get past this, or go somewhere just as effective.
I do, however, like Whitaker as a possible replacement. Good man.

Mick Mulvaney did not misspeak about the quid pro quo. It would be a shame to allow the howling masses "lynch" this fine man.
Yes I said it, and I'm glad!

I think I am in agreement with #1. Her husband is trouble that Donald Trump doesn't need. He has enough with Pelosi, Schumer, AOC, Tlaib, etc. All I can say to Donald Trump is this, Democrats are jealous, faithless, greedy, dull, repetitive, infantile, irresponsible, and dishonest. A jealous husband pours fire on all of the other attributes.

I LOVE Mick! Trump should keep him He is on Trump's side. I love Kellyanne as well, but not as Sec of State. I certainly DO NOT wand Kushner in that position. Kellyanne needs to either shut up her nasty husband, or leave him. I don't know how any woman can stay with a Husband who tries tor take down her Boss (and her) on a daily basis. The Bigger problem is WHO in Trump's White House is leaking all of this info?

I think Trump is just shoving his thumb into the eye of the nut jobs on the left... Her husband is too much of a liability. Thanks George... You moron!

I really thing a strong man is needed. I like Mick but think Matthew Whittaker would be terrific.
Kelly Ann's husband comes across as not totally sane and very mean. I assume her Catholicism
stops her splitting up hoping he'll 'get over himself!'

Do not jettison Mulvaney for one misstep. Also, putting KAC in as Chief of Staff is not the best choice. Her husband is a huge problem and frankly, is no conservative lawyer. Also, be mindful that Jared bears keeping an eye on. There are so many knives out around you, please keep the ones who have done a good job. Mulvaney has been excellent. You more than anyone knows how the media can pounce on you for no good reason. Do not let these reprobates influence you to make a change you may come to regret. Their goal is to isolate you and make you question anyone who appears to be effective on your behalf.

Keep Mick Mulvaney - smart, honest, loyal, professional. and not a b.s.er. There are not a lot of people with those character traits in D.C. People always talk about the President's loyalty; he should prove it by keeping Mulvaney. Maybe Mick is too honest to make the public pronouncements. I think Kellyanne is good for the pronouncements.
Get rid of Jared. I think Jared's priorities start with Jared.

I now take a wait and see attitude on anything that Trump may or may not have said and anything tgat the press reports until Trump actually does something.
For several reasons:
The press way too often gets it wrong.
The President has a habit of "thinking" outloud. Thinking about and doing are two entirely different things.
Trump loves trolling the left. So I expect the occasional poke in they eye.
Trump can be persuaded and sometimes changes his mind.

Whaddayou kiddin'?
Husband George would be on TV every day spouting about "Orange Man Bad."
I'll be happy to take care of the problem if I get a pre-signed Presidential pardon.

After she publicly blew off concerns about her no good rotten spouse a few months ago, I don't have much respect for her as a person anymore. 'Oh that is just George being George' doesn't cut it with me. A supportive spouse would not be trying to publicly destroy his wife like this.
I don't believe she can handle the duties of CoS, I really don't. Not if she can't handle her own nasty mouthed spouse. But this sure fired a warning shot across Mick's bow.

There is nothing that PDJT does or doesn't do that will be good enough for his critics. That being said, keep whoever you feel is best for the position, and tell your enemies to pound sand.

How about a business executive or a Conservative Politico that knows how to work through our current form of government of Separate but Equal Branches. He only needs to do the job for 5 years because after Trump, the current system of our Constitutional Republic will be dismantled finally and we will escort in Commie Pinko Left Wing ideology. When THIS enters...it NEVER leaves! EVER!!!
