There is no logical Democratic explanation for impeaching Donald Trump. The various factions within the Democratic Party calling for impeachment are united only by their loathing of Donald Trump, the person, and his systematic repeal of the Obama progressive project.
After failing with the voting machine gambit, the Logan Act, the 25th Amendment, the emoluments clause, the McCabe-Rosenstein faux-coup, the Comey memos farce, the “resistance” efforts outlined by the New York Times anonymous op-ed writer, the campaign finance violations accusations, Stormy, tax returns, whistleblowers, leakers, the Mueller 22 months charade, and now impeachment 2.0, what exactly is the point of impeaching Trump just 13 months before the election?

To the democrats, impeachment means no more Trump in 2020. To us it means Trump in 2020 is a sure thing if we have to carry him into the Oval Office ourselves. They have no idea what they are in for.

Must read. Bottom line? I am proud to have a POTUS like Trump brave enough to expose how deceitful and un American all of the left is as well as how many so called Republicans are in the same canoe with the left. He has shown us what fighting back looks like and has shown us that we don't constantly have to meet in the middle.

If the Republican Senate allows Trump to be removed from office, the country as a constitutional republic will be dead.

It is amazing that "sustained hysteria" is an election strategy. It is a form of terrorism.
Note that it is even FAKE hysteria. Most of the people pushing this are not concerned that Trump's actions are dangerous. They just want YOU to think you are threatened. This is why there is a drumbeat of "racism" and "hate". Minorities are supposed to FEAR the evil Trump. It is politics at its worst. What is the worst fear of a target group? Assert that Trump and Republicans embody that fear. No facts to support the claim? Doesn't matter. They want weekly headlines and soundbites saying scary things. It never fades to an admission of error. It fades only to be replaced with the next round of fear mongering. It is naked propaganda. Politicians have continually used it as part of their toolkit. The media has now thrown away all credibility in their assault on Trump. Why? Because not only is Trump a political threat, Trump has confronted the dominance of Leftist media in setting the narrative and he has won. In effect, Trump has created grave doubts about the value of the currently constituted media. Trump, rightfully, challenges their jobs and personal worth. For the media, It's Trump or them. For the media, it's REAL hysteria. Accountability is a scary thing.
Would you want the people using such a strategies, fear, lies, and propaganda, to be in charge of the Country?

It's all agitprop. All the time. Noise, dust, poo-poo flung in every direction. They're angry that they lost, and they're not going to let you forget it for even one second.

Dr. Hanson gathers all the facts and gives us the history - to date - of this farce of an impeachment process. The paragraph beginning with the words, "After all..." under the heading TRUMP CAPUT? at the end of the piece describes how only non-professionals would conduct a formal impeachment process. Of course, it's not a formal impeachment process. They just throw the spaghetti on the wall to see if it sticks, and if spaghetti doesn't stick, then they'll try linguine or whatever. I cannot believe so many of these people are lawyers.
That's why we have to try to pray for President Trump every day, because evil will do anything to win. And this whole "impeachment" process is evil because these people do not want America to be good and strong. They want it to be evil and weak.

This is a great article. The objective of democrats going into 2020 is to have President Trump stained with impeachment in the house and, with the like of Romney, get a majority in the senate (not even the necessary 2/3rds) to vote for removal. Burr's investigation may put a crimp on that. We'll see.

The Democrat congressional leaders, Nadler, Pelosi, and Schiff, who are pushing this impeachment fiasco don’t represent politically balanced Congressional Districts, Nadler a very liberal District in New York City, Pelosi a District in ultra liberal San Francisco, and Schiff a District in very liberal Hollywood.
It is not a sure thing at all, and a big political risk for the Democrats, and whatever wimpy Republicans who would go along with those Democrats, that most Americans will go along with a faux Leftist and liberal Democrat plan to impeach the President, and remove him from office, for essentially asking a foreign leader to cooperate with the US Attorney General as he manages a legitimate criminal investigation into international corruption that may involve a number of US politicians.
Because as it stands today, it is very obvious that those Congressional Democrats are trying to hold the President to such a high political standard that would be impossible for future Presidents to meet as they conduct foreign affairs. Anytime the opposing political party that also opposes that President’s political agenda controls the House of Representatives without that President risking being impeached.
The political backlash especially against wimpy RINO Republican Senators who would vote with the leftist and liberal Democrats could be very harsh indeed. Especially in Republican States like Nebraska where Republican Senator Ben Sass is up for re-election next year. Chances are if Sass votes with the Democrats in the Senate to remove the President from office, that he would be committing personal political suicide and would be defeated in the Nebraska Republican primaries next year. Both Mitt Romney and Ben Sass have delusions of running for the Republican Presidential nomination in the future, and you can bet that it is certain that after they vote with the Democrats to remove President Trump from office, that very few Trump supporters would ever vote for them again.

Very good article, but I believe they don't just want to taint Trump's presidency, they want to make all the people who voted for him to feel bad, and ostracized.
Allow people to point at YOU, and declare you were part of the problem, not part of the solution. YOU will be minimized and thought less of by your peers, family and friends.

Just wanted to correct my comment in post #6 so it makes more sense.
End of sentence #2 should have read "...TRUMP CAPUT? at the end of the piece describes how only non-professionals would conduct such an impeachment process. etc.
Did not proof too well before. Sorry.
