Air Canada to stop announcing ‘ladies and
gentlemen’ in recognition of gender fluidity

Employees aboard Air Canada flights will no longer greet guests by referring to them as "ladies and gentlemen" or "mesdames et messieurs," which has been typical protocol for years, in an effort to be conscious of gender fluidity.Flight attendants and other staff will not use the language in boarding announcements, and the company instead plans to replace the standard greetings with neutral words, such as "everybody" or "tout le monde.""We will be amending our onboard announcements to modernize them and remove specific references to gender," a media spokesperson for the company said, also noting that Air Canada was named one of Canada's Best Diversity Employers for 2019.

So we give in to the tiny fraction of people who make up the transgender freak show. The powers that be had things right years ago when they classified certain sexual anomalies as mental illnesses. I will feel so special when I hear, "Passengers...." instead of a more genteel, respectful greeting. The crazy guy at GameStop will still whine about not being called "ma'am."

The last few times I have flown I have seen only a few passengers whom one would consider a lady or a gentleman. The only good thing that will come out of this transgender madness is the destruction of title IX. Unfortunately it will also end up destroying all women’s sports entirely.

President Trump said on Monday that being president has cost him billions of dollars in what he could have earned if he didn’t run for office. “It’s cost me anywhere from $2 [billion] to $5 billion to be president … between what I lose and what I could have made,” Trump said during a cabinet meeting at the White House. “I would’ve made a fortune if I just ran my business – I was doing it really well.” Trump also discussed looking at different locations to host the G7 summit, after the administration reneged on its decision to host the event at the Doral resort near Miami.

It's genuinely remarkable, what with her résumé overflowing with maledictions, malefactions, imprecations, fabrications, machinations, and depredations, that Hillary Clinton was able last week to outdo herself — at this presumably late stage of her malodorous political career — by hurling a ball of flaming bile at Tulsi Gabbard. Now, as for me, I'm behind Donald Trump and his attempt to protect our country from creatures like Hillary Clinton. I don't much like the modern Democratic Party's policy or ethos (forgive the titanic understatement). And I wouldn't consider voting for any of the Democratic presidential contenders.

No, this is not from the Babylon Bee. It actually comes from the Oprah Winfrey Network, and a segment featuring Professor Britney Cooper, who sports a PhD from Emory University and who currently is an associate professor in the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at Rutgers University. With that sort of background, perhaps it isn’t surprising to eternalize blame for obesity on racism and seem to indict President Trump for it. (snip) While this is all funny, it is also tragic. Obesity is unhealthy and unhappy to endure. Blaming others doesn’t ever lead to change in a positive direction.
