Mounting pressure on Pelosi to

House Democrats are under increasing pressure to hold a politically risky vote to sanction their impeachment inquiry into President Trump. The White House is expected as early as Monday to tell Speaker Nancy Pelosi it will not cooperate with an impeachment-related subpoena drafted by Democrats until the House votes officially to open an impeachment investigation. "We'll be issuing a letter," Trump told reporters Friday on the South Lawn. "As everybody knows, we've been treated very unfairly, very different from anybody else." Democrats threatened to impeach Trump for obstructing Congress if he fails to turn over the material requested in the subpoena related to the Ukraine whistleblower case. But Republicans are building

Yes, poster #1, it is. I don't understand why we keep calling for a vote. She's not calling for a vote until she has all the arms twisted and until a few spineless Republicans start to go traitor on us; as usual. We should be calling for HER impeachment.

Nancy does not call a vote because it will slow down the process. She wants to ram this thru before Christmas so she can oust Trump and Pence and then SHE will become Madam President. First we fuc Trump Then we fuc Pence Talib places them under guard in her CIA secret prision… It's that easy and happening before our very eyes and all but a few the congressional republicans are sitting on ass.

Without a vote Republicans have no authority to work the "defense". Final result will be that America only gets to see the prosecution's case. Not how our justice system is designed or intended to work at all. Clearly the Democrats want a lynching, and this is how it's done.

I still contend that the grand scheme all along has been to keep the threat hanging over the president's head in the run up to the 2020 election. To the Neanderthals, it's important to be able to use any form of the word 'impeach' in every reference and advertisement.

Yep. If they held a vote and sent it up to the Senate, even without Republican participation, then Republicans would participate. They would participate in spades!

Somewhere (I think it was Mark Levin's show), there was a theory that if the House did vote articles of impeachment under their Alice-in-Wonderland-guilty-first-trial-later rules, that what the Senate should do is simply receive the impeachment and dismiss the complaint immediately, no show-trial. Best response right now to any Democrat-fixed-rules-non-subpoena-"subpoena" is to tell them to go pound sand and see you in court.

For those of us who can remember when our politics was more civil, when Republicans and Democrats actually seemed to respect each other and could trade control over the presidency without wild claims of illegitimacy being hurled at the incumbent, the recent behavior of Democrats is puzzling. How can one explain the now obviously transparent “Russian Collusion Delusion,” or the more recently spiking “Trump Impeachment Fever,” particularly when this last is over the claim he sought aid from the Ukraine in exposing the corruption of former Vice President Joseph Biden?

Strangest among all the many melodramas of the last two weeks were the blaring headlines that President Trump had dared to talk with the Australian Prime Minister—and referenced the role of foreign governments and in particular Australia in U.S. electoral politics in 2016. Given the hue and cry of Democrats in the last three years, they should have been delighted that the president was peremptorily warning foreign nations to cease to currying favor with presidential candidates and asking them to hand over what information, if any, they had of past “collusion.” In fact, they were outraged and once again returned to “collusion” charges, as if Trump were subverting the 2020 election.

Some say abortion is a 'health care' option for pregnant women. Others say it is the forced separation of soul and body of an unborn human being. In the U.S. the debate about whether abortion is good or bad for our society has become white hot with Blue State legislatures passing pro-abortion laws and Red States laws opposing abortion. The gap between pro-abortion Democrats and anti-abortion Republicans has been widening every year since the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 1973 that abortion was legal in all States. The Democratic Party now uses 'support of abortion' as a no-exception litmus test to be passed by any politician wishing

Emoluments, Stormy Daniels, Russia collusion, the Mueller report, impeachment… The left has played damn near every card in the deck against Donald Trump to no result whatsoever. They are getting down to the bottom of the deck, and the final card: assassination. This is not to say that the Democrats or even the denizens of the Deep State would directly involve themselves in an assassination attempt against the President. (Though I would go so far as to say that they would welcome it.) But let’s consider the landscape: The vivacious and witty Kathy Griffith and her severed head prop. The Democrats in 2016 graciously gave Americans the opportunity to do as we were told and vote for Hillary Clinton. And just as we so many times disappointed Barack Obama, we failed them as well, proving our illegitimacy as a citizenry. Electing Trump was the last straw for them – plastic, of course, paper is for us rabble. They used to want only our money, but since we elected Trump, they’ve decided to come for everything else we enjoy as free citizens of the Republic. Trump is all that stands between the America we cherish and the left’s policies for “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

If you watch cable or network news, all you hear about is impeachment. To the talking heads on CNN and MSNBC, it’s as if it already happened. Reps Pelosi, Schiff, and Nadler speak as if it’s a foregone conclusion, and shed crocodile tears about being “heartbroken and prayerful” over the process. The fact is, an impeachment inquiry has yet to begin. Opening such an inquiry would require a full House vote, making vulnerable representatives in districts President Trump won handily in 2016 go on record in favor of removing a duly elected president for the high crime of doing his job. A formal impeachment inquiry also gives Republican

Politico‘s Andrew Desiderio attended six town halls in one day for swing-district Rep. Sean Casten (D-IL) — and discovered that voters do not like impeachment. In fact, many support President Donald Trump’s criticism of former Vice President Joe Biden. Casten defeated long-term incumbent Republican Peter Roskam last fall in the 6th congressional district of Illinois, in the far western suburbs of Chicago, as part of a nationwide Democratic sweep of suburban districts. But his left-wing policies and bare-knuckle style were never a good fit — and now he is facing pushback from constituents who are upset that he is backing Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and the left in

Swing voters are repelled by leftist policies from healthcare to immigration that 2020 Democrat presidential primary candidates have endorsed, a researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) reveals. MIT researcher Alexander Agadjanian published his latest research in the New York Times, where he revealed that swing voters likely are six percentage points less likely to vote for a Democrat against President Trump in the 2020 election after learning of the leftist policy positions they have embraced. Agadjanian surveyed nearly 4,000 voters, showing half of them headlines where 2020 Democrats have endorsed decriminalizing illegal immigration, giving free healthcare to illegal aliens, ending private health insurance, and providing free college tuition for applicants.

The New York Times was first to report the meeting on Sunday, noting the financiers were treated to a behind-the-scenes view of the campaign’s headquarters and strategy, including a private address by the former vice president. “In a sign of the attendees’ significant financial firepower, Mr. Biden himself addressed the several dozen donors who came to the retreat on Saturday, rallying them for 45 minutes about the months ahead, people there said,” the Times reported.

To millions of shoppers, the supermarket is just a place to stock up on produce and pantry staples to keep the family fed. The sting occurs whenever they walk down the “ethnic” food aisle, the section of the supermarket that, to some, plays out like a remnant of the Jim Crow era, when laws established separate facilities for African Americans in the post-Reconstruction South. Republicans have questioned, and continue to question, whether the Obama intelligence community used foreigners -- from Australia, Italy and the United Kingdom -- to spy on the Trump campaign. Did they outsource spying, in other words. That is part of what Connecticut Attorney General John Durham is investigating, at the request of Attorney General William Barr. But in a very sympathetic interview with former CIA Director John Brennan, NBC's Chuck Todd never asked difficult questions about the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation and Brennan's possible role in it.
