America has seen many presidents who have been good to Israel and the Jewish people. None has been better than Donald Trump. Beyond doubt, he has done unmatched and extraordinary things for Israel and has publicly spoken against anti-Semitism in the United Nations and repeatedly during his State of the Union addresses. The whole world has seen the priority Mr. Trump bestows on Israel and safety for Jews. Additionally, he and his father were tremendous friends and benefactors to Jews and Israel, much prior to his entering politics. Yet the establishment Jewish organizations and temples have too often falsely maligned him, and liberal American Jewry

Wow. This Rabbi names names and checks ID cards. I did not realize that so many hated Donald Trump for little to no reason. I am not accustomed to matching names to religion or nationality except when it's obvious and it matters but these people are some of Trump's worst enemies. The people named would be some of the hardest hit if one of the Communists were to somehow ascend to the Oval Office.

May they all have ears to listen, to reflect, and to repent in their hearts. The doors of the Ark will be closing soon.

The bottom line is these folks HATE Trump PERSONALLY for his past personal foibles, and his policies and the benefits to the Nation derived from these policies are insignificant to them. I know many who think like this, and they are very intelligent, in well paid professions, not poorly educated and poor.

#4, These people have been voting democrat for many years prior to Trump even being on the scene in politics. It does not matter who is president. If he or she is conservative and gets things done they will hate him or her.
Personally, I just don't get it. Why would and intelligent group of people with such a rich and also tragic history continue to vote against their own interests? It just does not make any sense.

Access to abortion on demand is more important to them than the survival of Israel.

Practicing Jews hate abortion. Life is a gift of G_d and a sacred thing. Secular Jews, not so much. I brought this up to a Rabbi I have great respect for. His response was FDR came to heir rescue by defeating Hitler therefore, they tend to vote for Dems. Not so sure about that. One thing is for sure, President Trump loves Israel and has a heart for the Jewish people.

This takes us back to the basic question of why Jews are politically liberal especially in view of the horrific persecutions carried out against them in WWII and other atrocities carried out by anti-Semites over the centuries. The reasons are many and difficult to summarize here. But, in the 1950s, a guy by the name of Lawrence Fuchs believed that liberalism was rooted from Jewish values which stressed charity and social justice. Don't these sound familiar. But, on the other hand, how can this Rabbi be ok with dim presidential candidates who wish for the destruction of Israel. Something doesn't add up here.

As Dennis Prager and Ben Shapiro have pointed out numerous times, many Jews really are not practicing their Jewish faith in any way. They are "secular" Jews and value the opinion of their fellow man over the opinion of their own God --- who they often no longer believe in.
If I were of the Hebrew faith and saw these people being called "Jewish" and then placed into the same religious category as me, I'd be deeply offended the way I am when people throw in my face that Pelosi, Biden, Cuomo, the Kennedys, etc. are "Catholics". Please! We need to come up with a way to show the wide difference between "religious Jews" and "ethnic or secular Jews". Same with Christians. We are NOT all alike!
I'll end with a joke for the good Rabbi: "What's the difference, Rabbi Spero, between Donald J. Trump and a Progressive Jew? Donald Trump at least has some grandchildren who keep Kosher!"

The rabbi is correct but it won't matter. He gives the two reasons why: 1) American Jews are secular; 2) they could care less about Israel.

I suppose it could be said that those people are Jews in name only (JINO), since they claim the religion for whatever non-religious benefit they can derive from it.

Also, a few years ago, Trump spent 200K of his own money in a Palm Beach court to allow Jews access to private clubs in the area.

The Arthur Sulzberger Jr., aka "Pinch", the current publisher of the New York Times, was raised in his mother's Episcopalian faith. He allegedly claims to currently practice no religion. He's still a rabid anti-Trump ideologue, just not technically a Jewish one.
I know a, very liberal Jewish woman who is anti-Trump because she's an unabashed liberal and also anti-Israel mainly because of the Palestinian question. I don't want to tell her that the Palestinians with whom she is so simpatico would just as soon cut off her head as look at her.

Not quite. Look at the world around you, and your Democrat Party. It's coming back, and men like Donald Trump and American Evangelical Christians are the only friends you have.
Too blind to see it.

Many Jews insist on voting for the God-hating Democrats. Never understood why. There are many people regardless of religion that don't want God in their lives, and perhaps the Jews are no exception.

It never fails to baffle me that historically, the Jewish people are so fast to run to their own destruction. Problem is, they don't mind taking the rest of us along in their rush to destruction. The older I get, the more I can see how the Jews have managed to earn the wrath targeted at them by the rest of society. It isn't fair or right, but it just happens.

None of the persons whom the good rabbi castigates are actually Jews.
They are faithful, slavish adherents of international communism - - who - - if they ever were Jewish - - long ago sold their souls for a place of power in the totalitarian politburo.
In other words - - they are evil scum.

#8 The whole story regarding FDR and the Jews and the Holocaust. FDR knew of the concentration camps, the rail lines could have been bombed, Jews in ships were turned away , had to go back to Germany, .The Allies winning the war is what saved what was left of the Jews. FDR did nothing specifically for the Jews of Europe .

Very strong.
The above commenters raise some interesting points that I am tempted to wade into. Not today.
Other than to observe that Dimokkkraps either have corrupted thought processes or corrupted souls plagued with greed and hatred. And they never make any effort to fix themselves. The landscape of Life. Tragic how the Dimokkkrap party seeks to harness those two failings to compile political power.

American Jews seem like Eve in the Garden. America being the garden, the Democrat Party the serpent and social justice progressive idealism the essence of the apple. They seem to be determined to be cast out and see the garden lost. American Jews appear to enjoy feeling guilty.
With Christians it is social justice collective Salvation
What I do not understand is the pure hatred these self righteous, self anointed saviors display

Amen and Amen, Rabbi. A prophet and teacher.
It is good for all of us to examine our own hearts and stop the hatred should it be lodged in there. Alas, the Dem/Left sinks deeper into the swamp of vengeance/revenge. This is when hatred has become irrational and can result in monstrous deeds.

As a practicing Catholic I wish one of the bishops would write something like this. I am baffled at the Catholic politicians and their acceptance by the Church. Unfortunately you couldn't write the piece without including the Pope and that would never happen.
