The Democratic Party is still
Barack Obama's party

If you spend enough time on Twitter or read enough opinion columns from the left, you might get the impression that Democrats and progressives have grown dissatisfied with Barack Obama and his presidency. But that impression distorts the actual reality. In the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, a whopping 78 percent of Democratic primary voters said they were satisfied that Obama’s presidency did as much as was possible at the time in addressing the issues facing the country. That’s compared with 20 percent who said they were NOT satisfied, because more should have been done. Even among self-described liberal Democrats in the poll, the numbers are essentially the same

The Democratic party marched lockstep behind Obama for eight long years. They still do even though he has been out of office for three years. If the general public found out everything Obama has his hands in, it would not be pretty. He is still actively directing things from behind the scenes. First and foremost, the impeachment of Trump and the Russian collusion hoax. We would likely find him taking interest in many activities that hurt America and support our enemies. He still wields a lot of influence. If Obama says anything, his supporters act on it.

This would explain so much about the hard push to the Left at the moment. Isn't Perez Obama's guy? I guess the severe spanking that lost them the Senate in 2016 wasn't enough to make an impression. So they have to go all in on total destruction, and a landslide of epic proportions next year. Will they learn then? Stay tuned

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Thursday he is backing a measure to improve election security after Senate Democrats slammed him for blocking bipartisan election security legislation. The amendment to an appropriations package would provide an additional $250 million to the Trump administration to assist states with improving their voting systems and preventing foreign interference. “I am proud to have helped develop this amendment and to co-sponsor it in committee,” McConnell said on the floor. McConnell has previously supported addressing election security through appropriations. McConnell added that the amendment brings the total funding for election security to $600 million since fiscal year 2018.

Across the Western world tens of thousands of brainwashed kids are bunking off school in what has misleadingly been described as a ‘Climate Strike.’ No. A strike involves the withholding of productive labour. These kids are simply playing truant using the best ‘dog ate my homework’ excuse evah: ‘If I don’t do this, the planet will die!!’ To give us an idea of just how ignorant these kids are on the so-called ‘climate emergency’, Guardian Australia has helpfully released a video. As the homelessness crisis in California escalates, state officials requested increased federal funding to combat the issue, only to be rejected by Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson, as reported by ABC. The request letter was signed by Governor Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) and “mayors of the state’s 13 largest cities.” The letter points out California’s recent increase in spending on welfare programs, and claims that the “[Trump] Administration has proposed significant cuts to public housing and programs like the Community Development Block Grant.”

The hallmark of propaganda is that outright lies are more useful than the truth. The New York Times’ vile lies about Justice Brett Kavanaugh were so flimsy, they couldn’t last the day. Yet even after the Times’ correction (which amounted to a retraction), Democrats kept shooting the fake ammunition. That’s because their target isn’t actual investigations or impeachment proceedings. The lie itself is the goal. Once out, even if retracted, it serves their purpose: to smear and intimidate. Truth need not apply. The more outrageous, ugly, and frightening the propaganda, the more powerful it is. That’s all that is necessary for success. The lie doesn’t even have to be plausible.

The U.S. intelligence community’s leaders, the Democratic Party, and the media (excuse the redundancy) are trying to convince Americans that President Trump’s conversation with, and perhaps promises to, an unnamed foreign leader amounts to some sort of constitutional crisis. Never mind that the Constitution vests “the executive Power” in the “President of the United States,” a power that includes “by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties . . . appoint ambassadors and other public ministers . . . ” The Constitution also says the president “shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States.” But, oh, the scandal!

Just when it seems that the quality of the Democratic candidates and the ethical standards of the Democratic media might start to rebound to normal civilized levels (not a high bar since the days of JFK, LBJ, and Hubert Humphrey), they excavate new depths of inanity and unprofessionalism. I believe that the latest outburst against Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh will be seen as a significant milestone in the slide to perdition of the Democratic presidential nominating process and of that party’s lock-step media accomplices. The New York Times produced an allegation that Kavanaugh had sexually assaulted a woman 30 years ago, and Senators Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.),

In the 47 years since the last man set foot on the moon, the space program has changed a great deal. One of those changes has been incorporating mandated affirmative action policies. These policies have had an incredibly negative effect on both the progress in the space program and the engineers whose careers have been destroyed by them. The federal government mandates that a given percentage of work on a government contract go to minority-owned businesses. When building a large and complicated system like a space vehicle, it is almost impossible for a company like Boeing or Lockheed to meet this requirement by hiring out specific

My interaction with President Trump at his Monday night rally in New Mexico generated national headlines as mainstream media tried, once again, to smear the president as racist. Before Trump’s speech, I addressed that same Rio Rancho audience and told of my first visit to the Oval Office shortly after Trump was sworn in as commander-in-chief. As I walked into that hallowed room, I thought of my deceased immigrant father and hoped he could see that his son had become a confidant of the president of his adopted homeland, the United States. The first thing the newly inaugurated president mentioned to me: “Steve, what can I do for Hispanic Americans?”

What has irked some Democrats
