All in the Comey Family

By his own admission, the recently fired FBI director James Comey leaked at least four memos of private presidential conversations — at least one of them containing some classified secret material — variously to his lawyers and through liaisons to the press. In both phone calls and personal meetings, Comey never gave any hint to the president he served that he intended to leave a written record of the conversations for what turned out to be his own selfish agenda. Comey said his intent by leaking his versions of these conversations was to force a brouhaha that would in turn prompt

I believe things are changing. Comey could have been prosecuted for the offenses that have been proved, but he would have gotten a slap on the wrist, if that. A Washington D.C. jury would be to his advantage, for what the left and media would call ''minor crimes.'' I want to see prison time, and that will take more serious offenses than emails and abuse of documents. Those crimes are out there and are being documented as we speak. There is even some chatter about multiple grand juries. Ii will keep faith, as long as President Trump is in office, that the criminals will get what's coming to them. If they don't by the end of 2024, I will lose hope. We will lose America.

At the end of the article Dr Hanson lists the things that comie could have done to avoid the “moral spiral.” I don’t agree. Comie was bent on skirting the law- eg, have his friends determine the classified vel non nature of the me os- to the extent possible and violating to the extent necessary to prove to hillary ramrod that he was an dirt bag she could count on. All for his own personal gain and perverse glory. I am convinced that the clitton email presser comie gave before the election was part his view of how best to serve her and part reaction to his own outrage at the lies the clitton machine told him about the scope of the emails: i can hear hime asking (off the record) “so have you told me everything?” and the clittonistas doe eyed response “everything” and then his shock and outrage when 25000 new emails showed up. These scum bags are traitors to the republic and to the rule of law and to civilization itself. He deserves to be tried for crimes against humanity. In defense of the people who will lethim walk, there probably aren’t any very prosecutable laws that can be used against an fbi director who sold out civilization. Who would have dreamed anyone who could make it through all the hurdles to get to that position would be corrupt from his personality down to his soul?

Supreme Court allows broad

The Supreme Court is allowing nationwide enforcement of a new Trump administration rule that prevents most Central American immigrants from seeking asylum in the United States. The justices’ order late Wednesday temporarily undoes a lower-court ruling that had blocked the new asylum policy in some states along the southern border. The policy is meant to deny asylum to anyone who passes through another country on the way to the U.S. without seeking protection there. Most people crossing the southern border are Central Americans fleeing violence and poverty. They are largely ineligible under the new rule, as are asylum seekers from Africa, Asia and South America who arrive regularly at the southern border.

In early August, a man with a semi-automatic weapon killed 22 people at an El Paso, Texas, Walmart, the year’s deadliest mass shooting so far. Beto O’Rourke, an El Paso native and presidential candidate, quickly returned to the area from the campaign trail. He attended vigils, met with survivors and family members, and gave raw interviews to the press. Pastor Frank Pomeroy didn’t like what he saw, and that was the day he decided to run for office. Pomeroy knows about mass shootings and their aftermaths. Pomeroy is the pastor at the Sutherland Springs First Baptist Church, and in November 2017, his 14-year-old daughter was one of 26 people killed

Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein acknowledged he discussed with the FBI wearing a wire when talking to President Trump but insisted the comment was in jest amid tumultuous times at the Justice Department. His acknowledgment is contained in a series of emails exchanged in 2018 in response to a New York Times story. The September 2018 story was apparently sourced to fired Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, a fierce enemy of the president’s and now Democratic Party backer. The emails were obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by Judicial Watch, a conservative investigative non-profit. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said the emails stand as more evidence

President Donald Trump on Wednesday blamed John Bolton for making "some very big mistakes" one day after firing him as national security adviser. The president answered reporters' questions about Bolton's departure in the Oval Office. He said he gets along "well" with Bolton despite the differences that led to his firing. "He made some very big mistakes when he talked about the Libyan model for [North Korean leader] Kim Jong Un," Trump said. "You just take a look at what happened with [Libyan leader Moammar] Gadhafi. That was not a good statement to make. And it set us back."

A Chinese businesswoman was found guilty Wednesday of trespassing at Mar-a-Lago and lying to a federal agent about why she was at President Donald Trump’s private Palm Beach club, capping a bizarre federal trial where the enigmatic defendant’s true purpose in coming to the resort was never answered. Was Yujing Zhang, 33, just a bumbling tourist or an agent of Beijing’s government? One thing is certain: Zhang, who has been in federal custody since her arrest March 30, now faces up to one year in prison on the trespassing charge and five years on the false-statement offense. She showed no reaction to the verdict.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s pledge to annex the heart of the West Bank if he wins re-election next week could inflame the Middle East and extinguish any remaining Palestinian hope of establishing a separate state. Arab leaders angrily condemned Netanyahu’s remarks Tuesday, and a U.N. spokesman warned the step would be “devastating” to the prospects for a two-state solution. Netanyahu said he would extend Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valley —

President Donald Trump warned potential terrorists during his 9/11 memorial speech on Wednesday that the United States will seek them out and destroy them, “wherever they are.” The president spoke at a memorial ceremony at the Pentagon on the eighteenth anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks that killed nearly 3,000 Americans. “We come here in the knowledge that we cannot erase the pain or reverse the evil of that dark and wretched day,” Trump said. “But we offer you all that we have — our unwavering loyalty, our undying devotion, and our eternal pledge that your loved ones will never, ever be forgotten.”

It is not even noon yet on the East Coast, and the New York Times has taken first place already for worst take on the 18th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks:(tweet) I count at least three problems in this since-deleted tweet. First, there is no mention of who carried out the 9/11 attacks or what motivated them. That's like writing a headline memorializing the Aug. 3 El Paso, Texas, mass shooting and not once mentioning that there was a white nationalist gunman involved. Second, and I hate to be the one to say this, airplanes lack agency. They did not take aim or crash themselves.

A federal appeals court on Tuesday temporarily rolled back the nationwide injunction preventing the Trump Administration’s asylum ban – requiring any migrants passing through Central America to seek asylum in one the nations they pass through before applying in the U.S. from taking effect. In response to a “Renewed Emergency Motion” submitted by the Justice Department, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued an administrative order granting the government’s request to stay the nationwide injunction put in place Monday night by U.S. District Court Judge Jon Tigar of California. Tigar reasoned that a nationwide injunction was necessary because of the need to “maintain uniform immigration policy.”

The September 11, 2001 attacks were the result of an unmitigated intelligence failure. No, 9/11 was not an “inside job,” as many conspiracy theorists believe. Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda network were responsible. But, the 9/11 plot did not happen in a vacuum. In reality, America’s elephantine national security state had known of bin Laden and his network years before the horrific events of 9/11. Some of the most powerful people in the national security state routinely downplayed and ignored the threat al-Qaeda posed to the United States before 19 hijackers murdered 2,911 people in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania.

Those sources did not say what exactly the administration would do and did not care to speculate whether California and municipal governments would be anxious to collaborate with a president who has consistently blamed them for the homelessness plight in the state.
