Gun expert Dana Loesch dissected a new ABC News/Washington Post poll on gun control on Monday and explained why polling on the issue is oftentimes misleading.ABC News political reporter Johnny Verhovek tweeted the results of the poll: "Views on gun policy from latest @ABC/@washingtonpostpoll (1,003 U.S. adults, MoE +/- 3.5%) Requiring background checks Support: 89% Oppose: 9%. Banning assault weapons Support: 56% Oppose: 41%. Mandatory assault weapon buyback Support: 52% Oppose: 44%" (Tweet) In a series of tweets, Loesch systematically broke down the ways that the poll was designed

So is there a story here somewhere? Where is the part where Dana Loesch "Explains How Media Manipulates Polling On Firearms"? All I see is a rehash of the poll results. Where's the story? Is there a quote anywhere from Dana? I have noticed this before with Daily Wire -- catchy headlines but no there there.

From the first moment when he announced his intent to run for President of the United States in 2015, Donald Trump was very clear on one specific aspect to his view of why people would vote for him. As a candidate, he repeated it often: So the reporter said to me the other day, “But, Mr. Trump, you’re not a nice person. How can you get people to vote for you?” I said, “I don’t know.” I said, “I think that number one, I am a nice person. I give a lot of money away to charities and other things.

For about two years, conservatives who closely watched the media’s reporting on President Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia have wondered why his former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, simply accepted his fate as the first casualty of what turned out to be a bogus narrative. As Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report showed, neither Trump nor his 2016 campaign colluded with Russia to steal the election. The years-long investigation sent several Trump associates to jail for crimes unrelated to the campaign or the president. One of those caught up in the probe was Flynn, who eventually pleaded guilty on December 1, 2017 to lying to FBI agents about his contacts with

BFFs in D.C.? Apparently not U.S. Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris of California. According to reports, Feinstein, the senior senator from the Golden State, will throw a fundraiser next month for Democratic 2020 presidential frontrunner Joe Biden -- and not for Harris, another White House contender whose poll numbers suggest she could probably use some high-profile help. Feinstein and husband Richard Blum will co-host the Biden event Oct. 3 in San Francisco, according to a copy of the invitation obtained by CNBC. Feinstein first gave her backing to Biden in January, months before the former vice president made his campaign official in April.

President Trump spoke on the phone with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Saturday after Houthi rebels in Yemen launched drone strikes against two Saudi oil refineries. Trump offered the administration’s support for “Saudi Arabia’s self defense” and condemned the attack on “critical energy infrastructure.”“Violent actions against civilian areas and infrastructure vital to the global economy only deepen conflict and mistrust. The United States Government is monitoring the situation and remains committed to ensuring global oil markets are stable and well supplied,” deputy White House press secretary Judd Deere said in a statement.

Texas State Rep. Briscoe Cain doubled down on his insistence that a government conceivably led by Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke will not be taking his guns.Appearing with guest host Brian Kilmeade on Friday night’s edition of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Cain reiterated that his Thursday debate-night “My AR is ready for you Robert Francis” tweet at O’Rourke wasn’t a physical threat, but rather a version of the oft-repeated gun rights phrase, “come and take it.”“Are you rethinking your tweet, or underlining it?” asked Kilmeade.WATCH:

The parents of Otto Warmbier, Fred and Cindy Warmbier, are scheduled to have dinner at the White House with President Trump and U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell on Saturday night, CNN reported. Warmbier was an American college student who was detained for 17 months in North Korea on charges of espionage. He was returned to the U.S. in a comatose state in 2017 and died not long after. It was not immediately known how Saturday's dinner was organized or if anyone else would attend. Now that Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is opening to development, you're seeing reports of its limited potential. The media are downplaying the significance of one of President Trump's signature achievements. They don't know what they're talking about. When Alaska was granted statehood in 1959, it was given the right to select 103 million acres of the federal land in Alaska, 28% of the total. Its first choice was ANWR, on the north slope of the Brooks Range. This was based on the advice of George Gryc, who had studied the arctic slope for the U.S. Geologic Survey.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg criticized some gun owners on Friday, suggesting it was sad that their “sense of manhood” depended on owning a gun. In an interview with TMZ Live on Friday, Buttigieg was asked about the Twitter feud between former Congressman Beto O’Rourke and Texas Republican Representative Briscoe Cain. After O’Rourke told gun owners that “Hell, yes, we’re gonna take your AR-15″ during the Democrat debate on Thursday, Cain dared Beto O’Rourke on Twitter to come and take his AR-15. Buttigieg agreed with O’Rourke that Cain’s comment on Twitter was a “death threat,” and the South Bend mayor admonished Cain for failing to have a more intelligent conversation about gun issues.

Dobbs, a vocal backer of Trump, referred to the GOP senator as a "never Trumper and RINO" in a segment Friday night. He began the segment by touting Trump's electoral chances in 2020 as well as predictions that there won't be a recession next year. Microsoft attempts to fix the various issues plaguing Windows 10, but the latest patch release only caused more problems in the system. It's been tough going for Microsoft when it comes to Windows 10. Specifically, the patch caused issues in the search option of the Start menu and Taskbar. Microsoft released a patch called KB4515384 on Tuesday, Sept. 10, which was meant to address issues in Cortana and SearchUI functionality causing high CPU spikes and the Desktop Search to cease functioning properly. Warren and Biden exhibited stark differences on style, policy and vision for the Democratic Party, embodying two opposing theories of what the party should be.

When we’re faced with threats of inundation, our reaction has traditionally been to build walls. Sea-level rises, storms and floods have been held back with solid barriers, seawalls and dykes. We have used walls to keep out people, too: the fact that this has failed throughout the ages has not stopped its recent revival in the United States. The climate crisis threatens global sea-level rises of well over half a metre if we fail to act, while tidal storm surges will reach many times that height. Fiercer and more frequent hurricanes will batter us, and millions of people who live in areas where crops have failed
