NFL quarterback Drew Brees is setting the record straight about his stand on a video promoting the Bible. The New Orleans Saints star posted a video message on his Twitter account after he was accused of being anti-gay for his association with Focus on the Family, urging viewers “not to believe the negativity” about a video message in which he encouraged Christian students to take part in Bring Your Bible to School Day. (Video: YouTube/Bring Your Bible) The 40-year-old quarterback told students in the shot video to “live out your faith” and “share God’s love” by bringing their Bibles to school on the special day

Thank you Mr. Brees for not apologizing to the intolerant LMNOP haters. Nothing he said on that video was offensive but we know that haters gotta hate anyway.

“anti-gay” ?
“anti-gay”?
I’d rather be “anti-deviance and anti-perversion” than what you deviants are...
“anti-GOD”.....No way to go through your short lives. Read the Bible!!!

A guy who plays for the SAINTS is not supposed to mention the Bible?

If you do or say anything even remotely Christian, they are coming for you.

Bravo to Brees.
For those besmirching him over this the only way not to be anti-gay is to be anti-Christian, and even that doesn't mean they won't find some other pretext for attacking you. If you aren't for them, you are against them.

Psalm 116:15 : Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.
To take a stand for the Lord today is tantamount to "career" death, as these are truly degenerate times.

I'm not a football person and I had not heard of Drew Brees or this "issue" until now. I do believe that Jesus lives in this man's heart. We need more of this.

The irony in all of this? I could care less about a person's sexual identity or orientation. A person's lifestyle is none of my business - it is between God and that person. If they have no faith in God, that also is their choice. I read my Bible everyday and that is my choice and lifestyle. I do not go around bragging about it because it is something very private. I wouldn't even know if a person is gay or not because I am not nosy but I ask the question, "why do I need to know about their sexual tendencies?"
Drew Brees is posting a message to Christians. There is nothing wrong with talking about the Bible to believers.

Not caring isn't enough for the Gaystapo. You will be made to care.

Hate groups thrive on generating hate. Here they attack groups and individuals who thrive on love.
America is the worse for this. How sad.

Washington Pose doesn't hate Drew Brees. The hate group they represent just hate Almighty God, and with a vengeance. As a poster above mentioned, if the message isn't meant for you, you will not understand it.

Drew doesn't need to apologize to anybody and is fully entitled to practice his faith anytime anywhere.

Like Tim Tebow, Drew is not alone. There are many good Christians players in the NFL who will take a stand for the Lord. I remember how they would all take a knee and say a prayer at the beginning of the game. Drew is a natural leader and sets a positive example. It's time to see more of that again and show the world that anger and hate have no place on the football field. There's only one way to change things around, and that's to fight through the weeds for your principles.
Thank you Drew Brees for making me look forward to the new NFL season.

Drew Brees was a “walk on” in college football. He and a group of other Walk On’s developed a Resturant chain now called, wait for it, Walk On’s. If you have one in your area, how about a planned lunch or dinner their to show support for Mr. Bree’s.

First things first. Drew Brees did NOT apologize ... and good for him because he should not! Every time something comes up like this we all need to slap it down and firmly. It is a direct assault on anyone with faith. I personally don't care if you marry your dog and cheat on him with your cat. That's between you and God. Work it out with Him when the time comes. I'm only trying to be more saint than sinner and don't need my fellow citizens constantly slurring my beliefs, my faith or my practice thereof.
If we all don't band together and call out the bigotry for what it is, this country will follow China, North Korea, and other countries that ban all religions, locks all houses of prayer down and makes the state the only power. You can go to prison or even be executed in some countries for practicing the Bible beliefs! We don't need or want that here.

Compare and contrast Drew Brees with that frizzy-head Kaepernick.

In Muslim countries they slit your throat. In the USA most are worried about their image. Not to worry however, persecution because of being Christian is just a made-up story anyway. /s

Loved him when he was our Chargers’ QB—he’s a good guy, like Philip Rivers. I believe he still lives in Del Mar in the off season. He and his wife do a lot here. Classy and generous. Good job, Drew! Don’t back down.

Those who claim to be spokes persons for the LGBT? community demand tolerance and respect for that community, but turn around and spew hatred and contempt for everybody outside the LGBT? community.
I, like many others, believe in, "Do to others as you would have them do to you." It would be nice if the LGBT? community would try doing the same.

The gaystapo are vindictive and uncompromising. They are out to destroy anyone who does not full-throatedly support their lifestyle and, since the Bible and those who believe the Bible does not support them, Christians will be persecuted more and more forcefully. Their memories are long. They still squeal about Chic-fil-a a number of years after its founder simply donated to a traditional marriage group.
Beware. The left has found its cause and you will be 'socially scored' and marked with a rainbow letter. They want to be sure you will not be employed and your family will be targeted. This is not a passing, wispy ripple - it is a tide.
