Why the Left So Despises Donald Trump

Original Article

Like many others, I have for some time been trying to understand Trump Derangement Syndrome, the phenomenon of otherwise reasonable people reacting irrationally to some peculiar quality of the president, a quality especially in evidence when he is in the presence of his supporters. Some of it is easy enough to comprehend. Unlike any president since at least Jackson, Mr. Trump was elected by attacking the entire political class from right to left and practically all leaders of both parties and the parties themselves.

Just like with Nixon, no one that they know voted for him. Therefore he stole the election and must be destroyed.

FTA: "All four of them qualify as anti-Semites. As has been widely mentioned, the president is doing what he can to help make these four the best publicly known face of the Democrats. They are, to adapt other lavatory images, drinking their own bathwater, and the president will hang their insane ideas around the Democrats’ necks like a toilet seat." This paragraph comes after Black recalls Dim false claims of illegals being forced to drink toilet water.

Excellent article by Mr. Conrad Black, but I would to add to his list the following; President Trump is in no one's pockets. He donates his salary to various charities and even some Government agencies. He does not intend to get rich by being a perennial public servant, but is instead a business man who applies his "Rule of the Deal" to his public service. THAT is something we have never seen before and is quite refreshing. It is also part of the reason why those on both the Left and the Right hate him with a fury, for they cannot influence him into go along with their nefarious plans.

Interesting summary of political forces and events, but I'm too dumb to understand why Mr. Black thinks the Left despises President Trump. I believe the Left despises, demonizes and destroys all who dispute their moral and intellectual rectitude. GW was a Nazi, too. Remember? And before that Regan invented AIDS to kill Gays. If that's the point Conrad is making, he left out the historic excursiveness of Leftist opposition. Nobody hates like the Left. It really deserves a good book treatment right about now, as the historic record is so well established. Why they do it? One plausible reasons is, they, historically, can get away with it and it is effective. They pay no price for being principally a force of destruction for America and nothing else. The are the walking, talking personality disorder that never gets reprimanded or fired, because they keep making the big sale. In the case of national politics, the big sale is More Free Stuff. It would seem to me the Left needs to be pondering what their principal tactic will be when the money runs dry. But I don't Democrats (who gave us accelerated judicial appointment) ever consider the long term.

Conrad Black notes what Trump said in response to a question about Puerto Rico and that he wishes he had not said. My inclination is to agree with Mr. Black that I wish Trump had refrained from making his answer to that question about himself. HOWEVER, when I thought about it I realized that it is statements like this by Trump that cause the press to pass on what he says to the general public. Sure, this particular quote, in and of itself, served no positive purpose for Trump, but the media are unable to distinguish between this one and others which DO serve a positive purpose. IF he only ever uttered the things which serve a positive purpose the media would figure that out.

I too wish Trump would be less uncouth in his speech and tweets, but he may realize something most of us don't, that you have to fight fire with fire. The left has adopted the most extreme and foul speech to drive its decent opponents off the battlefield. Trump may have realized that if you want to stay on the battlefield you have to be willing to match your enemy. If they resort to poison gas, you have to answer with poison gas or leave the battlefield to your adversary.

Black acts as if the battle is won so Trump can settle down and be nice. BALONEY! The bad influences are still in place. The dems are still in power in the House. The media is still making top lies and is eager to get Trump over anything they can. The opposition has NO intention of being civil. In reality, as they become more desperate they will become more vicious. There are many nasty fights ahead.

Come on. Watch the tape. Trump is hated because you must have an enemy in order to have a war. The War is the War of Marx, as postulated by Gramsci. (You will have to look him up.) For the Proletarian Revolution to succeed, all owners of property must die. Then all property can be justly divided among the survivors. Because the revolutionaries are pure, you see. Remember: the State cannot err. Individuals may make mistakes, but the State is Pure. How do I know? They say so. They are so pure that you don't get to see their prospectus. Just believe them. This time it will work. For 7,000 years and counting socialism has not worked, but this time will be different. You will have to endure the death of the intellegensia to see that they are correct. And we know that they are intelligent because they say so. And they must be believed because they are pure. And we know that they are pure because they say so. It is just circular reasoning. Assume the conclusion and get over it.

Or perhaps your son or grandson has asked to dress up and play Cowboys and Indians. And of course we all did (to be clear though, I did not dress up as a princess). Former president Donald Trump emerged from 38 days of self-enforced silence for a lengthy speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Orlando, Florida, that was frequently interrupted with boisterous applause and chants from an adoring, mostly white and older crowd. He was spot-on in his indictment of the five-week-old Biden administration, accusing the new president of lying about his "radical far-left" agenda during the campaign. Predictably, he also slammed the "fake news" for what he said was their assistance in covering up that agenda.

I am the author of the bestselling book "TRUMP RULES." My book identifies the top 10 rules that made former President Donald Trump one of the greatest winners in world history in business, branding, real estate, celebrity, television, publishing and politics. Trump is the only person in world history to reach the pinnacle of all of those fields. And the only person to become both a billionaire and president of the United States. It's not a bad resume. Many critics think Trump's winning streak ended with a presidential loss. I disagree. I know the man. I understand the man. I know what comes next. It may be Trump's greatest chapter yet.  Correction*

After weeks of being holed up inside, hundreds of millions of Americans eagerly await guidance from their governors and the Trump administration on when they can return to work. Unfortunately, a vaccine appears too far off to serve as a prerequisite for reopening the economy. This has prompted officials to call for extensive national testing efforts to identify individuals free of coronavirus. But these efforts require Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval of rapid at-home testing, and the agency appears to be dragging its feet. Now more than ever, Americans need a responsive FDA that puts patients’ lives over half-measures and unnecessary risk aversion.

President Trump clearly overstated the case when he asserted that the president’s authority in the current crisis is “total.” The fact is that the Constitution doesn’t grant total authority to any branch of the government. It looks, though, at least to us, as if Mr. Trump was set off by news that some states were entering into regional pacts to plan the reopening of their economies. If that is what set Mr. Trump off, it’s easy to see why. Mr. Trump and all other officers and legislators and judges of the federal and state governments are bound by oath to the Constitution. The death of John Prine, a survivor of cancer who was lost Tuesday to the coronavirus, takes from us one of America’s greatest troubadours of what we call the Vietnam generation. We were almost exactly the same age and had been in the army at roughly the same time, albeit in different theaters. Yet, in an irony, we failed to fully appreciate Prine’s art until we were educated by our children. Prine wrote and sang scores of songs, and by no means all about Vietnam; some crackled with humor, others ebbed with sadness. The one that rivets us the most, though, is the ballad “Sam Stone,”

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
