Here’s the investigation we need now: a blue-ribbon panel revealing who in the world thought Robert Mueller’s testimony would be a good idea. Was it Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff, the chairs of the two committees that dragged this poor man through this needless hell? Was it Speaker Nancy Pelosi, in a last-ditch effort to gin up a narrative for impeachment? It surely was championed by the media culture as a day of history, a high-stakes moment in time that would surely resonate.Well, it resonated, all right, echoing across a landscape filled with expectations based on political interests.

Mueller hasn't gotten what he really deserves. He isn't a "poor man through this needless hell." Look at what he's done to others and the country.

A reminder that before this Mueller's work has been repudiated by judicial reviews and compensation paid to victims of his zeal. Despite other service, his recent efforts do NOT deserve respect.

Herr Mueller was FBI director on 9/11/01. He stopped FBI trainers from discussing Islam with agents. His FBI missed, after interviewing them, the Bonnie and Clyde filthy islamofascist pigs who assassinated Clyde's co-workers in San Bernardino, plus missed the tip from the Russian Government(!) to our government that the Chechnyn brothers were terrorist. They went on to blow up the Boston Marathon.
How about the Memphis military recruiter attack? Or the Orlando nightclub? Or the anthrax attacks?
Herr Mueller is a national disgrace, and has been, for decades.

As I was driving my truck to town last night, I listened to one of the 5-minute national news updates by one of the alphabet media. There was not a single mention of Mueller, his report, or President Trump! Something has changed.

I wonder if Mueller's poor performance was (in part) a ploy to "run out the clock" on the questioners. Dragging his feet and asking for question repeats diluted the questioners' ability to pin him down. Playing dumb is one way to thwart interrogation. (I am reminded of the illegal aliens who are apprehended and suddenly claim to speak no English.) The most outrageous lie Mueller told during the hearings was that he had no idea that his committee members were all Clinton-supporting Democrats. I believe that more was at work than dementia and hearing loss, and that he was probably coached in that direction.

Mueller is a national disgrace and a high level puppet even as head of the FBI long before Trump was elected. Incompetent is the word or maybe 'Peter Principle' should be applied. That was acting and it is proved with one statement, he didn't know or have a clue of Fusion GPS. Give me a break! That passel of lawyer/investigators always looked right but never looked left to find the real colluder, Hillary Clinton and her team. I'm not an investigator or claim to be a PI but I could land in Washington DC and in one day present crimes by criminals that could fill the dockets for years and provide guilty verdicts in all of them. This was not a hoax this is a failed coup attempt and It's not over yet. Mueller is guilty along with many others that should be put in jail and let them write their books and memoirs from inside a jail cell for forty years or mores.

For what that man has done in the name of justice he should be picked up today and sent to Leavenworth and housed in solidarity confinement for the rest of his life.

Although I could not watch but about 20 minutes of Mueller's incredibly lackluster performance, I was actually rather shocked at how tired he looked and sounded. He was a pathetic witness, really. No mater how energized the Rats tried to sound, their helplessness was exaggerated by his almost laconic repeated responses- "I defer to the report", "That is not in my purview." and his almost mechanical "Yes." and "No." answers. The rats were excessively frustrated and really seemed at ends to figure out just what to actually do with the witness. The agony lasted 8 hours! It was embarrassing. Mueller was clearly not interested in helping them and in the end, the whole thing seemed pathetic- actually embarrassing. People, Democrats included seemed relieved when it was over.

Mueller has written this off. He "wrote" a report that was intended to be a Uniparty roadmap to impeachment. The Dems got cold feet because THEY would have to make the accusations themselves via Articles of Impeachment, and Pelosi and leadership didn't want to go that route, knowing the likely outcome was acquittal. They saw what effect that had on Bill Clinton - who became more popular seen as a martyr. Republicrat Rep. Justin Amash tried to open the door to other GOPe House members to jump on for impeachment, and failed. The GOPe wants nothing to do with the set-up, potentially blowing its cover in all this "Dump Trump" activity. So Amash is left to hang alone.
Mueller is perhaps an old fool, maybe a figurehead, his report baloney, but maybe he has just had enough being the impeachment frontman when he expects the Nadlers and Schiffs, with Pelosi's support, to do the heavy lifting. He effectively scuttled them. He can now go to the dog tracks.

Herr Mueller should cone clean about his involvement in this witch hunt or dies he also suffer from trump derangement syndrome?

From what I heard on Fox, even after coaching Mueller for two weeks on his testimony, the Dems knew this was going to be a disaster but did it anyway. They were propping up Mueller to be some kind of Atticus Finch. What the public saw was Norma Desmond.
